Immaculate Custom Log Home med ett stort loft som sover 4 plus 2 sovrum som sover 4, 1 badrum och tvättstuga. Gratis Wi-fi ingår. Stort rum med massiv sten spis, stort däck med fantastisk utsikt över sjön. Massor av skugga träd och en enorm eldstad för lägereldar. Fiskrengöringshus med bröstfrys. 112 fot kust och en privat båtbrygga att fiska från och binda upp en båt. Garfield Lake är över 900 tunnland och en utmärkt fiskesjö med en allmän badstrand. Detta är en mycket ganska lugn plats att koppla av och göra underbara minnen med familj och vänner. Tillgång till Paul Bunyan-leden är i slutet av vår uppfart. Beläget 1/2 mil från Laporte, 20 kilometer från Walker, 40 kilometer från Bemidji och 36 km från Itasca State Park.

A great retreat!

This is one if our favorite places we've stayed. Great location, great fishing, great little town. The cabin has everything you need. Just wish we would have booked it for longer!

Nice Minnesota lake getaway

The cabin and property are very pretty. The lake is a natural lake so there's some grasses and natural vegetation around the banks and dock. It was very peaceful and nice place. Cabin is very spacious.

Perfect vacation in this beautiful cabin.

The property was beautiful - we loved watching the sunrise in the morning and hearing the loons. The cabin itself was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything necessary to have meals at home instead of going out. My husband enjoyed the proximity to the trail for his morning runs. We also had perfect weather which added to our enjoyment of this cabin. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely spot!

We had a great experience! The cabin was great, a nice walk to the playground in town for our young kids, enjoyed visiting Lake Itasca and the owners were so helpful. Would love to come again and will recommend to others

Perfect Lake Home

This lake home was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this home. The cleanliness was a 10+!! It has everything you need for a getaway. The lake produced a phenomenal amount of fish! We will definitely come back to this lake home!!

Wonderful Stay!

The cabin and amenities were great, and Jan (owner) was very responsive to the few questions we had. My wife is from nearby Walker, so the cabin was conveniently located just outside Laporte on beautiful Lake Garfield. Wonderful experience!

Great log cabin

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for it was quiet and a great deck with a nice view. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Jan was great any questions she got back to us in a few minutes.

Just what we needed

This cabin was perfect for the six of us to disappear to for a week before school started. Nice open layout, great deck for spreading out on, and nice little fishing lake. Secluded enough to feel alone and relaxed, but close to town for necessities.

Quiet and Convenient

This Cabin is very comfortable and convenient. We are bikers and enjoyed the ability to walk out the door and bike the Paul Bunyon Trail. And it was convenient to walk to town for coffee or groceries. The owners have done a great job with everything!

Awesome lake house

Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home and lake. We caught fish and just generally enjoyed our time outdoors relaxing. Kids loved the fact they still could have Wi-Fi. And nice to watch a movie on smart tv on the day it was raining. Overall recommend this property for all. A+

Wonderful place to stay.

This beautiful cabin on Lake Garfield was a perfect getaway for our family! We had good fishing and the property had everything we needed. There was quick response when needing to speak to the property owner. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Very nice fish shack to clean your daily catch at the end of your day. Local grocery store within walking distance. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Comfortable Cabin

Nice, clean, comfortable cabin. Felt very at home. Water even tasted good. Being able to walk my bike out to the peaceful Paul Bunyan Trail was so easy. The lake is weedy along the shore, but public beach has sand. Fish cleaning house was very nice, but we didn't fish. Overall very nice place!

Wonderful family vacation

This was our second year staying at the cabin and it was wonderful! We love the bike path and the park in town. We made multiple visits to the grocery store, (pizza and brats are awesome) and the coffee shop in town. The fishing was good and the kids loved catching sunfish. The dock wasn’t in which was a bummer, but out of the owners control. We would definitely love to come back in the future!!

Perfect lake home getaway

We loved our 6-day stay on Garfield Lake! This home had everything we needed + lots of extras that made our vacation week memorable. Super clean and very quiet, great communication with the owners. Town is a quick walk away. We will always remember the pair of loons who visited near the dock literally every evening and greeted us with their call every morning. This was exactly what we were looking for and we feel lucky we found it! Thank you so much.

Great Fishing Vacation 🎣

This cabin is perfect for a wonderful vacation. Cabin is clean and has everything you would need for a great stay. Amazing fishing in lake garfield! The only thing I would say is this lake is not for swimming. ALL WEEDS. There is a public beach on the other side of the lake thou. Also very narrow drive way with lots of trees and rocks so beware. All in all 5 stars. Great cabin.

So Relaxing!

The cabin is just beautiful and very clean! The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, which made for a very relaxing time away! We loved that the Paul Bunyan Trail was at the end of the driveway and used it everyday.(biking walking, running, rollerblading) We didn't use the public beach at the north end of the lake but checked it out! Also very nice! We rented this cabin because we had a wedding close by and decided to make a vacation out of it! (The venue was BWB Ranch, which was also very beautiful!) We'd love to come back again!

We purchased this property in May 2018. All the furnishings are new and the cabin has been cleaned from top to bottom. This is a vacation home for us and we love it. We would like to give someone else the opportunity to stay and enjoy this beautiful peaceful place while we are gone. We have found a wonderful manager here in the Walker area who will be available to you for a any questions or problems that might arise during your stay.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have vacationed in the Walker Area for over 30 years camping and boating on Leech Lake and the surrounding area every summer. When we retired we decided to buy a cabin instead of bringing our camper and boat with us from Nebraska.

We found this wonderful property and instantly fell in love with it. We look forward to coming back every year.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Beautiful custom built Log cabin on approximately 1 acre with many mature trees on a very quiet secluded road. There is also a fish cleaning house with running water and a freezer. The Paul Bunyan Trail is across the road from the end of our driveway. Excellent trail for bikes or walking. Laporte is just a 1 mile down the road with a excellent grocery store, gas station and city park with playground equipment. There is a public dock for launching boats into Garfield Lake.
