Welcome to the new Cabin on Nelson Lake. Updated for larger groups looking for a relaxing weekend up north. Private setting Year Round Cabin with direct and easy access to all trails. ATV, Side by Side, and Snowmobiling

Beautifully updated and elevated A frame cabin with big windows and great views of the lake from every room. Open concept design with large island, set up for family gatherings. Fairly private setting with almost 675 sq feet of deck to relax and cook from. Large firepit area for kids and nightly smores.

Enough beds for everyone. King in master suite, three queen beds and four single bunk beds have room for everyone. Not to mention a couple of futons for others. Did you see there are 5 bathrooms! Three with showers, one bathtub and two 50 gallon hot water heaters so you should not run out of hot water.

Main floor primary sweet with oversized shower and main floor laundry. Large loft with two queen beds and two bunk beds and two bathrooms allows for plenty of family and friends. There is also a basement bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds making this cabin perfect for two or three families.

Pontoon rental available onsite along with a separate dock if you bring your boat.

The Cabin on Nelson Lake is perfect for summer activities like boating, fishing and other water sports with 2700 acres of relaxing scenery. Nelson Lakes has multiple resorts to visit for dinner and drinks. Plenty of great fishing around the lake and even off our dock.

The cabin is located just off the ATV and snowmobile trails. We have direct access to both. With a large fire pit area and a HUGE deck overlooking the lake, this cabin has it all!

Plenty of parking, two docks for your boat or rent the pontoon. Canoe included in rental. Large deck for cooking and eating outside. We have a two grills and a Blackstone flat top grill, perfect for outdoor cooking. Onsite laundry, swing set, fire wood, a sauna and much more.

It was a very enjoyable stay ,plenty room for all 12 and still lots of open space when all gathered together . We could have our own separate space when needed,would absolutly stay again .

Quiet and relaxing

Great location on the lake yet close enough to town to run to the store. We enjoyed the quiet, using the pontoon on the lake, and riding the trails. Cabin had everything we needed and more.

Great place to enjoy lake living!

We brought our boat, the kids (adults now), and their cousins. The cabin was exactly as we hoped it would. Clean, well organized and everything works properly. We loved access to an open dock and boating and swimming each day. Also hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake was wonderful. Thank you Vince!!!

2023 Chequamegon 40 weekend

The cabin was lovely and clean. The amenities were great and lake access was super. Vince good not have more gracious and communicative. We had a great time and if all goes well we hope to book the same place again next year.

Girlfriend getaway

We were a group of 12 friends that have known each other since elementary school. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could think of. The living room and dining room were very clean and spacious. The view of the lake from the deck was amazing. A few of us fished from the dock every morning. There were plenty of beds that were very comfortable and had great bedding. The fire pit had plenty of wood available, lawn chairs and sticks for roasting marshmallows. We rented the pontoon that was available and it came all gassed up and was extremely convenient having it right at the dock. It fit 12 of us plus a few coolers very comfortably. There is also a washer and dryer on-site. The cabin is close to Hayward if you would like to go into town for shopping, food or drinks. The best part of the property was the responsiveness of the owner. I had to call him a few times and he answered immediately and helped us right away. He was also very responsive via text and email. The one downfall of the cabin is the staircase up to the loft and down to the basement. It is a narrow spiral staircase with small steps. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Nelson Lake vacation week

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Vince and Sarah's cabin/house on Nelson Lake! House worked very well for our 3 families. House was clean and well stocked for our stay. We also rented the pontoon boat which was nice. It's always nice to rent boat from owner versus separate business. Fire pit, swings, and catching fish from the dock were added bonuses for our families. Spiral staircase was an initial concern with our 3 young grandchildren, but we blocked off the stairs and it all worked out. Definitely would rent again from Vince and Sarah!

Loved it! Will be back!

This cozy cabin with a private dock was the perfect stay! There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 2 kids. There is a nice fire pit to end the night around. Town isn't too far away incase you forget something but far enough away that you're on vacation at a cabin! And the driveway was big enough for utv trailers to turn around in and park the boat trailers. The hosts were wonderful and made payments easy and communicating a breeze! I plan to be back this winter or next summer!

Wonderful family vacation

Our family stayed here for a week, 8 adults and 2 toddlers, oh, and 3 dogs!!! We had a wonderful time, we had plenty of space, the cabin is stocked with everything you could imagine, very clean, and the beauty of the lake when you are sitting on the deck!!! wonderful!!! we loved it here, we would go back in a heart beat!!! thank you Vince for the great hospitality, and sharing this wonder getaway with us!!!!

Great Lake Cabin for fishing

Brothers Ice Fishing Trip 2022

Myself and 5 of my brothers stayed here for an ice fishing trip. The cabin was perfect for our trip! Plenty of beds and lots of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped for a evening fish fry and social gathering around the dining table. Our host, Vince, was great. He checked in often and was very accommodating! If you’re looking for a great place to stay, this is it! Looking forward to coming back again!…..

Five Star Fishing and Cabin!

What an amazing week at this cabin! Let me start by saying the fishing is awesome! My teenage son caught a 33" northern, a memory that he will never forget. Not to mention several other good size ones! My young niece and nephew caught dozens of panfish with minnow or worm and bobber. Crappie were nice size and we had plenty to make a large meal with. Every trip out, we managed to find fish. Fun for all! But let me tell you about the cabin... AWESOME! Every amenity you can think of. We had plenty of comfy bed space for ten with room to spare. The open kitchen/living room was such a warm and inviting place to gather. Two docks for boating. My niece and nephew used the little swimming beach everyday. Large firepit area for all of us. My husband loved cooking on the Blackstone flat top grill! I think we used it almost every meal. Vince is right that we will be purchasing our own now that we have used it. Also every single kitchen utensil, crockpot, fans, fishing supplies, you name it... this was the most stocked cabin we have rented, so don't worry if you forget something. Trust me, it is there. And speaking of Vince, he was one of the best hosts I have EVER stayed with! He made us feel like his home was ours for the week. We felt so welcome and would love to come stay again! If I could give more than five stars, I would!

Perfect lake property for family and dogs!

My family, 8 adults, three kids and 3 dogs stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights, 5 days. To say that we were impressed is an understatement. The view from the cabin is immaculate, and the cabinbis stocked for everything you need! The pontoon worked like a dream and was used at least 3 times a day. Morning fishing afternoon swimming and night fishing! The whole family caught a ton of fish! The dogs swam all day! Brought the 4 wheelers as well and the trails were amazing! Time flew because of all the fun had! You will not be disappointed with this clean, stocked cabin, and Vince the owner was so easy to work with! He was always a call away, and very friendly! Overall, an experience the while family will never forget!

Family Time

A nice clean cabin with comfortable beds and fully stocked with everything you need. Everyone really enjoyed fishing and jet skiing out on the lake. The town of Hayward is close by for groceries or restaurants. Vince was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any of our questions.

We have owned the cabin for 21 seasons and just don't get up enough to use it every weekend. Our thought why not share all the GREAT times we have had with others. You name it, we have done it up north and each year is a bit different.

Great place for two family's or a larger group as there are separate living areas. The cabin is close to town so you can run into Hayward for anything you might need. Hayward has a great downtown not to mention shopping.

We are also close to the hospital just in case something happens.

Nelson lake is great for anything you want to do. Fishing, recreation, boating, resorts/bars and relaxing. The lake is not that busy due to the low amount of cabins on a lake this size.

We also have a pontoon available for rental. Everything you need for a family vacation.
