This property is in a great location, but smaller than I realized. The air was very, very musty when we first arrived; and, I had to open all the windows for a couple of hours to get it aired out. It set my allergies off. While we were there, a Nor'easter came, so we had to leave a day early due to the threat of moderate to major flooding. The owner never reached out to us about our safety and potential for flooding during the storm. There was not much in the way of papertowels, toilet paper, napkins, etc. However, we had a good time for the time that we were there.

Excellent property just a block from the beach. Check in process was easy, with the keyless entry a breeze. We also appreciated the beach items provided such as chairs, toys and umbrella.

Basic stay, unfair fees and poor hospitalityThis property offers basic accommodation while placing many burdens on guests. Guests are required to bring essentials like toilet paper, trash bags, towels, and bedding. We had to pay a security deposit and purchase a Damage Protection Plan insurance.The place matches the pictures and was clean. However, the mattresses had thin plastic covers that made sleep uncomfortable, you can hear the family upstairs in the mornings, and the bathroom has a flood warning device near the shower that went off one night and woke the entire building during a shower.The main issue was checkout. The rules required us to load the dishwasher and run a cycle before leaving, but we couldn't find dishwasher soap. I hand-washed dishes and left them drying, but the cleaner still confronted us about six glasses left in the sink, garbage bags not carried downstairs (which we immediately took down when reminded), and the beds being left “undone.” We had already stripped the bedding and placed blankets on the beds to be washed, but it appeared we were expected to fully make the beds. The house was otherwise left in good condition, but the owner charged us an “extra cleaning” fee. Be prepared to bring nearly everything, pay deposits and insurance, and leave the house in hotel-ready condition to avoid extra charges. While the location near the beach is convenient, the lack of hospitality and he way we were treated at the end made it a disappointing stay.

The location is perfect, just a brief walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

We had a great time and were pleasantly surprised by how close everything was. The atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. We will definitely be back and plan to make this a yearly tradition. The only complaint we had was that we couldn’t sit outside because it was really hot. It would have been nice to have an awning to escape the sun's beams. I highly recommend this place!

Another Great Stay!

We have stayed at this property, both first and second floors several times and each experience has been great, this time was no exception! Fantastic hosts, the property is always pristine and is very well stocked. We love the closeness to the beach (for when we visit in warmer months) and how you can just about walk everywhere. We are already booked for the fall!

Have stayed here multiple times now and already have future reservations. House is equipped with everything you need and is in a great location to the beach and shops! Highly recommend

Great Location!

This house is a great location! It’s an easy walk to the beach and to the center of town. The place was clean and the owners were very attentive. The only bad thing is that the apartment upstairs is flipped in layout, so the back bedrooms are under the upstairs kitchen and can be loud if people are stomping around.

Ideal location for beach vacation.

The property is small with basic furnishings. Nonetheless, it pretty much has everything you need for a week at the beach. You simply cannot argue with the location. The storage for our beach supplies, provided beach supplies, outdoor shower, foot wash, hose, broom, and (again) the location are optimal. The proximity to beach access and the short walk to Washington Street Mall make this a property worth considering for any family/group that fits in the space. The weather did not cooperate during our week stay so, at times, the rental felt cramped for our family of four. The kitchen has very limited counterspace, but it was adequate for our purposes. The twin bedroom is VERY small and the "trundle" is really just a thin mattress in a drawer that fits under the bed. Probably adequate for a child, but really not usable for an adult. The other two rooms are fine. The furniture on the front porch is iron which was fine, but it is not what was depicted in the photographs which we thought may have been a bit more comfortable. Owner was very responsive to messages and accommodating to our requests.

Pretty, CLEAN and complete 3BR apartment.

From the first moment you walk in it's lovely to look at and very clean! Everything in good working order...good appliances, a/c, good bedding, kitchen well out fitted. Owner can detail more things in listing...for example listing said both 2 and 3 br? where exactly to park? Keurig or other? All eventually answered, communication excellent, but better if in listing. A place one would definitely want to stay again!

Nice location!!

This condo is very close to the beach, which is wonderful. There were beach chairs, beach toys for us to use. My grandson loved the toys!! There were just a few things I want to make the owners aware of. The first set of steps (from the driveway to the landing) have sunk into the ground some, and now there is a ledge at the last step before the landing, which is a tripping hazard and very dangerous for going up or down the stairs. There is a large gap at the top of the stormdoor frame where it seems to sag away from the front door frame, which causes bugs to come in when the front door is open. And the light on the right side of the bed (in the bedroom on the right of the hallway) has a wiring problem. When switched on, it stays on for only 1 second and then stops working. Please note: we are not complaining abut this, but these are just to make the owner aware that he may have to look into this a little bit more.

Just right!

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay in beautiful Cape May. Having the beach chairs and equipment provided was really great and an added convenience. The street is beautiful and sitting out on the front porch at the pretty wrought iron table was so relaxing! Would stay again!

Welcome to our listing.
My name is Raj. My wonderfully patient wife, Kelly and I live in Reading, Pennsylvania. Reading is on the Monopoly board as Reading Railroad. Reading known as " Baseball town USA" was once the Pretzel Capital of the World. Taylor Swift was enrolled in high school there!
Kelly and I have been coming to Cape May for about 10 years. We have a large extended family with many children of all ages. During the summer, we enjoy an annual trip with the entire family to this beautiful friendly beach town . The groups of various generations enjoying multitude of activities. We have been to other beach towns on the east and west coast. We have spent time in other countries. Historic Cape May in our opinion is the most bicycle and walking friendly. The beaches are not crowded as some other beaches. You can catch both sunrises and sunsets over water!
On a recent trip while staying with friends and family off season we discovered museums, breweries, distilleries, and wineries. We discovered shows and theaters. We discovered a great holiday season. This could be even more off-season for us.
Now to explain why my wife is "wonderfully patient". Kelly had spent her childhood at jersey shore. Her uncles, aunts, cousins and even sisters purchasing fun shore properties. I had talked her into buying property at home as investments. Always telling her, "Soon, we will get something soon."
Well the "soon" came. She found a place and said "Here is a place that you can share with others and I will use it when its not rented. Matter of fact here are two. They are both in the same building. It has a water view and beach view. It has off street parking. A block to the beach!" And I was out of EXCUSES !
