About Ralph Mossman and Mary Mullaney

We are glass artists whose studio is on the property. We have been in Driggs since 1987 and Jackson Hole before that. We love hiking, exploring and our local community.

Ralph Mossman and Mary Mullaney purchased this cottage in 2007

Why Ralph Mossman and Mary Mullaney chose Teton Valley

This cottage is our old glass studio, transformed into a beautiful apartment. It is one of 3 buildings on our property, and is about 50 meters behind our house.

What makes this cottage unique

Quiet, comfortable, relaxing and just what we needed!

We had a great time staying at the Cottage and meeting Mary and Ralph. They were very helpful with suggestions for dinner, laundry, activities, and shopping. We stayed two nights and loved every minute of it.

Great cottage and hosts!

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was ideal for us. It is well thought out with attention to detail yet uncluttered. Ralph and Mary were welcoming and accommodating. I enjoyed casual cruising on the trails around town on one of the bikes they provided and Deb enjoyed the jetted bath rub. Driggs has a number of restaurants that are likely quite good though we ate out just once at Bangkok Kitchen which was good and reasonably priced. Grand Teton National Park is spectacular and an easy day trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay.

Cottage at Heron Glass Bliss

  • 5 of 5

First off Mary and Ralph are great hosts and will spend time with you to show you the glass shop and help with any questions you may have about the local area. The cottage is real roomy and neatly decorated. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to get off the main road and stay in someone very peaceful and well taken care of.

Peace and Quiet

  • 4 of 5

You will not hear kids running down the hall and slamming the door next door - there is no "Next Door", you are completely isolated in the sleepy little town. This location is perfect for the skiers heading to Targee or the back country, you need to haul your gear some distance, (approx. 50 yards), through the snow to gain access so this location is not for the mobile challenged, (Ralph has kindly supplied a sled which is invaluable during this process and makes you feel like you are really heading into the back country - snow boots a real bonus here). The cottage has been nicely updated and kept us warm during a -15 degree night. The kitchen is fully functional and served us well with all our meals, some updates to the kitchen appliances and accessories would make the upgrade complete. Bring slippers, the floor does get a bit chilly during the cold Driggs nights. After staying at multiple motels during this extended ski vacation, I can not stress how nice it was to have total silence and absolutely no interruptions to our solitude during out stay.

The cottage was perfect . It was clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed for our week- long stay in Driggs. Mary and Ralph were gracious and welcoming and were most helpful. We look forward to returning to this cozy cottage . . .
