About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Sofa Sleeper, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Lichenhearth ski-in condo, located next door to the base of Snowmass Village (SMV). Easy, two-minute walk; down the sidewalk or across the backyard next to our lovely pool and hot tub area, no streets to cross! The lower village has the Sky Cab (affectionately known as Skittles), Village Express Lift, Elk Camp Gondola and Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center.

You will have the best of both worlds, being in the heart of lower Snowmass Village, which is filled with shops, restaurants and a small grocery store or hop on the free Sky Cab to be whisked away to upper Snowmass Village for even more shops and restaurants. There is also a lovely trail meandering amongst the condos, between the upper and lower village where you will see trees, bushes, flowers, and deer on occasion.

Fresh remodel and completely refurnished in 2018 with new carpet and paint, reclaimed wood accents on tile flooring, handcrafted knotty alder king bedroom set, American Leather queen sofa (the Cadillac of sofa sleepers with an elite, proper mattress; no bars, no springs). Fully stocked kitchen with a Bosch dishwasher, Wustof knives and Blendtech blender to name a few of the luxuries. Fairfield Townsend Bistro table, countertop height and Amisco swivel stools. Everything in the condo is brand new with a few exceptions, since we are waiting for more items to be delivered, everything will be complete prior to this fall.

The Cathedral ceiling and deck bring in plenty of sunshine and allow you to enjoy the tree filled, peaceful backyard. We have even seen a few deer wander past our deck!

We own two other mountain condos, one in Breckenridge, the other in Steamboat and receive high ratings from our guests. This same level of standard can be expected at our Snowmass condo. Living nearby in Golden, Colorado we spend a lot of time at our condo and we are sure you will feel right at home. Robes, fluffy towels and nice sheets. The condo is fully equipped for cooking with everything from a crock pot to a fondue pot. We try to keep extra items stocked such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry detergent, tea, olive oil, and spices just to name a few items.

The Lichenhearth complex itself is delightful. We prefer smaller complexes (less than 40 units at the Lichenhearth). The Lichenhearth has two buildings with a pool and hot tub located between them. Looking at the exterior of the buildings, you will feel as if you are in the alps. Filled with charm! From our condo, you can see a glimpse of Hanging Valley Wall in the distance, near the ski mountain top. The view from the hot tub is spectacular as you look at the Snowmass ski mountains!

Other items we really enjoy, wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer in the condo, BBQ on deck, heated streets on Carriage Way prior to turning into the Lichenhearth driveway, covered/assigned parking and an elevator even though there are only two floors (located on top floor).

We are very excited to have a new home in SMV and hope you will enjoy it too!

My name is Tammy Snyder, I was married August 2009 and my maiden name is Tammy McMinn. My husband is a retired firefighter and active in search and rescue missions. We are both outdoor enthusiasts and love to travel. I traveled through the Alps snowboarding for 3 months during the 1996/1997 winter and visited 12 ski stations among my favorites are Chamonix, France and Verbier, Switzerland. In 1998, I set a world record in snowboarding 305,525 vertical feet in just under 15 hours. As you can guess, my greatest passions in life are snowboarding, telemark skiing, biking, rock climbing, and the mountains. Our mountain condos are our oasis, please enjoy your stay!

What makes this condo unique

After traveling through Southeast Asia for over a year, especially while trekking through Nepal, I developed a knack for finding excellent places to stay. My husband and I are on a similar quest in finding our mountain properties and have a checklist, to name a few: walk to the ski lift, walk to restaurants, smaller complex and nice view.

Loved the condo!

We loved the condo! Very clean, simple, comfortable, and well stocked. The place felt new and sparkly. The location was perfect for walking to the village base camp for dinner as well. It is a quiet location, day and night. The towels were amazing! We'll definitely stay here again when in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay at Lichenhearth Condo #18. Condo was spotless and fully equipped! Owners are very thoughtful as to what visitors might need or forget to bring on vacation to make them feel at home. Perfect fit for a 3-4 person stay. Loved the color scheme/décor.
