The location was great, close to shopping, dining & hiking. The leaves were turning such beautiful colors and easily accessible from this location. The pillows in both beds do need to be replaced; they were either flat or too soft. Overall, a great deal & place to catch up with friends!
Great location at the end of Main Street - you can walk anywhere in downtown Breckenridge from here. The condo was clean and well equipped with all the appliances you need for a short or long stay. We stayed 2 weeks and could have stayed longer - it was a very comfortable stay.
We needed to contact the owner twice to ask questions and heard back from him within minutes each time. Very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. I missed the part where it is a sub floor apartment. Easy location though. 2 blocks to town.

Hi Nathan, thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the location and found it convenient. We apologize if the sub-floor apartment detail was unclear. We appreciate your input and hope to welcome you back in the future!
We were just looking for something close to downtown and the location of this unit was great! We did not cook in the unit and pretty much just slept there. Could walk to the restaurants on main street. The bed in the master could use replacing. The heating system was wonky. Pretty much need to set the thermostat way lower than the temperature you want. It is a basement unit and you are looking at either a stairwell or emergency escape well. You will not be looking at the mountains! The hot tub was clean and temperature was hot!

Underground
Location: Good. It is within easy walking distance of the lifts and Main Street. However, just know that the unit is underground. The windows look into light wells. This was not noted in the unit description when we booked nor was it reflected in the price.
Decor: Adequate. New carpeting in the bedrooms was great. Furniture and dining area was well used.
Cleanliness: The floors and furniture was clean. Dishes, pots, and utensils still had food and grease on them so we had to re-clean everything.

Hey Joe, thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are very sorry to hear that the cleanliness did not meet your expectations. Next time please reach out and one of us will stop by and tidy up quickly! We hope you had a lovely time in the mountains.
The location of the VRBO is easily accessible to main street and peak 9 and it looked clean when we checked in, but I'd have to say the cleanliness of the bathroom could be better. The lighting was terrible in the outside bathroom sink area, and the shower curtains need to be updated, it had some mold smell lingering. After booking and paying VRBO, there is an additional random $25 nonrefundable fee that I thought was a bit much to ask. It's for damages less than $500, but the fact that you don't get your money back if you have ZERO damages is ridiculous. My ask is to take that $25 and update the bathroom (curtains, more light bulb) for future guests. Also, the description is as posted, you do hear the folks upstairs walking at certain hours, mostly in the morning. But for the purpose of a skiing trip where you're not at the house much, I would recommend this for easy access to nightlife and the mountains.

My husband and I arrived late on Thursday night excited for our three-day trip. When we got in, we immediately noticed a strong smell of cigarettes, which was against the rules. It was already late, so we decided not to make a fuss and go to bed. When we got in bed, the bed was collapsed in the middle, so not only were we scrunched together, but our feet were over a foot higher than our heads. The next morning, my husband took a shower and saw pink mold on the curtain. We also turned up the heater to 67, but in 5 hours it had only increased 1 degree of temperature. We attempted to reach out to the property managers and asked if we could move our rooms. We then went out for about an hour. When we returned, we found that they had come in without our knowledge or consent and febreezed the entire house. The smell was overpowering-- I have never smelled so much febreeze in my life, and it makes me sick to my stomach. What was worse was the violation of privacy. We reached out again, but they claimed everything was fixed (it wasn't). We were then put through the ringer, speaking to 4-5 different people, none of whom would help us. They claimed they needed photographs (how do you photograph a smell or a broken heater?). We asked for our money back so we could find somewhere else to stay on our own. They refused. They said they would get back to us, but they still haven't 5 days later. We had to leave that day and end our trip early.
Great location. Short walk to town and Peak 9 lift
We had a wonderful stay. The location was great. However, the heating system needs improvement. The thermostat was set at 65 and the heat registered 77. We shut off the heat completely and it then registered 68.

We were very surprised to find the apartment was located in the basement. Also very disappointing that the hot tub was closed due to Covid. Location was perfect for spending time in town.
