Cat Tail Condo is a 2/2 beach front "Beach Club Villa" condo located at the highly sought after Pointe West Resort on the West End of Galveston. Professionally decorated, well maintained, and ideal for 4 to 6 guests close to the Beach Club and dune walkovers.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo has 1095 SQFT and a large patio with entrances from the master bedroom and the living area. The master has a large walk-in shower and double sinks, the guest bath has a bath/shower combo, and both baths have granite counters. The split bedroom floor plan provides for added privacy. The kitchen has a large serving/snack bar, ample cabinets and pantry, stainless appliances, and granite countertops. The living/dining combo allows for easy access and entertaining.

As of the spring of 2024, all mattresses are new and the guest bedroom has all new furniture. Thanks to Hurricane Beryl (July 2024), carpeting in the bedrooms has been replaced and upgraded to high quality vinyl flooring. New hurricane proof doors to the porch. January 2026 - completely repainted with new light fixtures and shower door.

There is a storage unit in the garage filled with beach chairs, toys, and an umbrella which you are welcome to use. You will need to bring your own beach towels but linens and bath towels are provided for you and the beds will already be made up for your arrival!

The kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, a combination drip/Keurig coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, blender, electric mixer, and an array of condiments and spices. Of course, if you are on vacation and don't want to cook, there is a restaurant at the Beach Club - hours and availability vary according to the time of year you visit.

About Pointe West:
The highly sought after Pointe West Resort is a 1000 acre resort located on the picturesque and serene most western tip of Galveston Island near the San Luis Pass. Take a stroll and rest in the shade at the Pavilion which is also a great site for a photo shoot.

The Beach Club is a spectacular 8000 SQFT club with 20,000 SQFT of sun decks and offers a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico with several dune walkovers over 3 miles of a beautifully maintained beach. An infinity edge pool that looks like it flows right into the beach actually overflows into a children's pool and play area. Sit back and relax with pulsating jets in the hot tub. There are plenty of tables, chairs, and chaises poolside to enjoy all the activity. Work out in the Beach Front Fitness Center with separate men and ladies locker rooms. There is also free WIFI offered at poolside so you can stay connected. An air conditioned Game Room overlooking the pool offers the younger group a place to chill out and play a few games or watch TV. The Gift Shop at poolside is open for snacks, drinks, souvenirs, beach gear and apparel. Two grilling areas with gas grills are located right at poolside so you can prepare your favorite BBQ.

If you go across the road to the Bay Villa Condo area, there is much to do, but, without a doubt, you will be amazed at the breathtaking sunsets. Early in the morning and at dusk you will see a multitude of resident island and migrating birds that are abundant in this natural part of the island, so don't forget your binoculars and camera. The avid fisherman wading in the bay is a common sight as this is one of the best fishing spots on the island. You can even stop and get a work out on the outdoor exercise trail. The Sunset Beach Pool is ideal for young children to gradually enter the pool without stairs and also allows for deck chairs to be placed right in the pool. There is also an area under the shade of the palm trees for toddlers to play. Grab a tube and cascade in the lazy river pool as it winds between the tropical palm trees. Relax in the raised hot tub in this serene tropical paradise.

Gather with friends and family or meet some new friends to watch the sunset at the 2 story lanai or just lounge and enjoy your favorite drink or a casual meal. A grilling area with a gas grill is available for you prepare a BBQ dinner in this picturesque setting. There is also free WIFI offered at poolside so you can stay connected.
