Un recorrido serpenteante a través de 5 acres de flora tropical, grandes robles cubiertos de musgo español y el sonido relajante del agua que cae en un estanque alimentado por manantiales son algunas de las primeras impresiones de este mágico lugar de desaparición de la "Vieja Florida". La casa recuerda a una casa de plantación colonial francesa, bellamente decorada con muebles de ratán y Tommy Bahama. Una piscina y un relajante jacuzzi son tan refrescantes como la naturaleza que te rodea. Termine el día nadando con los gentiles manatíes en los manantiales del río Crystal ... O puede pasar el día en las playas cercanas del Golfo o pescar en las numerosas vías fluviales. Esta área se llama apropiadamente "La Costa de la Naturaleza" por los muchos encuentros con la naturaleza que ofrece. Beautiful Get away

The property was beautiful! It was far away from others but still close to everything. The house was beautiful. We loved the pool and the hot tub. We are hoping to stay there again next summer!

Great for a relaxing weekend

Great house! So clean and quaint. Attention to detail was wonderful. Incredibly full kitchen, plenty of towels, plates, soap, etc. Very close to the docks. Great screened porch and quiet atmosphere. Fans work great and so does the air con! Hostess was super helpful and kind. We’ll be returning!

A little piece of paradise

Family trip to enjoy fun in the sun, including downtime at the house as well as outings to hike, see manatees, visit beaches and more. Great for up to three couples or a family trip. Clean, spacious place with updated amenities but an “old Florida” feel. We highly recommend it!

Gorgeous, Comfortable Home Away from Home

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this super comfortable home. The grounds are just beautiful. The hot tub and pool inside the screened enclosure were my favorite aspects of this home away from home.

Weekend Getaway

We are Floridians, but this was our first time in Crystal River. We were looking for a place to get away, disconnect from the hustle and bustle. This property accomplished that. Its so peaceful being in the middle of 5 acres. You hear frogs and crickets more than anything else. The waterfall on the pond is awesome to listen to in the morning as you're taking in the quiet start to the day on the patio. The home is spacious and well appointed. Its the best of both worlds - old Florida with all the modern conveinences you need. Maria, the property manager, was fantastic! She was easy to communicate with and made sure we had whatever we needed. Check-in and check-out was super easy.Definitely keeping this location on our list of "must visit again" places. We loved the home and the area. Wonderful weekend getaway!!

Absolutely beautiful property, inside and out. Got a quick tour as we arrived. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. I loved the outside couch relaxing with a coffee listening to the waterfall.

Fantastic Property and Host

I recently booked this property for a work trip, and we had a great experience from start to finish. Maria was so helpful and welcoming, she even had baked treats for us when we arrived. The property is one of the more unique ones I have stayed at, and was a great home base to come back to every night. We will be staying here if we are back in the area in the future!

Peace at its best

We spent 3 days here and its was amazing. The place is beautiful and you are away from all the noise and craziness of the city. Maria is the caretaker and lives inside but you never see her after checking in. We will definitely come back.

Great stay!

We loved our stay! Our girls loved fishing in the pond as well as swimming in the pool and hot tub! The property was so cool and we literally felt like we were away from everything. The kitchen was well stocked! We enjoyed the springs nearby and grilling out our fresh catch from our fishing trip. Would return if we are ever back in the area. Maria was also super helpful and always available if we needed her.

Great Place

Beautiful place on a large lot. No like the "cookie cutter " houses we usually rent that are all the same. This one was unique. Less than 10 minutes to a beautiful beach. Maria the host was extremely helpful, there when we arrived and when we needed something she was there in minutes !!

What a place!

From the start, this property was everything we could have hoped for. Quiet, private (even with property manager on location). Maria was helpful and responded quickly to messages. Owners were also super responsive. House was well stocked and clean. We cannot wait to go back! Already looking at our calendar!

Amazing!

Just as wonderful as the first time! We loved every bit of our stay. One suggestion would be to stock some card and board games. We had to run back out to purchase our own set. Also, please make sure you bring bug spray. There’s enough mosquitos to carry you away outside the screened area. Can’t wait to return!

Charming low-country cottage shouldn't be missed!

This quirky, delightful house was an ideal "home base" for our group of 3 couples. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Maria, who lives on-site (in a different house), and she gave us a tour of the space and pointed out all the amenities (including balloons, as two of us were celebrating birthdays!). The next day, after a before-dawn snorkeling tour with the resident manatees, we warmed up in the hot tub, then spent a lazy, wonderful day playing cards on the lanai, napping on the porch, and watching wildlife in the garden and pond. We'd definitely like to come back for a longer stay!! Highly recommend!

We will be back...

Despite being located a bit off the beaten path, we decided to spend our latest wedding anniversary at the Hideaway, and we are so glad we did! The grounds are beautiful, the house incredibly well appointed (including DirectTV in all rooms), comfortable and roomy and the kitchen big enough to prepare food for a large dinner party. But our favorite part of the property was the screened in patio area, which includes a pool, hot tub and front porch. Thanks to the spacious, soothing sauna, the refreshingly cool pool and the relaxing porch (perfect for midday naps with no bugs!), we barely left the place all weekend! Maria was incredibly helpful and attentive, always around if you needed her but never once intruding on our solitary getaway. Not only will we recommend the Hideaway to everyone we know, we’re already planning to book our return trip next year!

Paradise

The home was gorgeous and well appointed. The trees, pond, and plants around the property made it feel like a tropical paradise. The waterfall sealed the deal. The pool was so nice and cold and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing.

Peaceful Retreat

Lovely and unique property. Best of old Florida. We loved the porch looking out on the pond and waterfall for our morning coffee. Very comfortable beds and furniture. High end kitchen gear - obviously not furnished as a rental. Close to many of Floridas natural clear springs. I would happily return and can recommend without reservation.
