Blue Badger is very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of space for 6 for a girls getaway. The screened porch was the pefect place to begin or end our days. I highly recommend this rental.

Fall Getaway Weekend

Our family enjoyed a lovely fall weekend trip in the Berkley Springs area. The house was great. It met all of our needs for 7 adults. The screened in back porch is especially lovely. We would definitely stay there again !

Lovely cottage in the woods.

Great place for a getaway. All the conveniences and a quiet location for our break. Everything you'd need in the kitchen. Not far from activities and shopping. Property management very easy to work with.

Quiet, forested neighborhood with varied natural wildlife and enjoyable mountain views.

Pros: Lovely home with great amenities including large screened porch and lots of seating great for outdoor dining. Cons: Never could locate kitchen dishtowels. The request to wash & dry all used bathroom towels and washcloths before checkout was definetely a first.

A small 60th birthday gathering.

The property was perfect! We used the little library as an extra room. The screen porch was perfect! We hoped for a fire pit in the yard but it looked like it had been removed or overgrown. The only cons are that the grill is small (but workable) and there is a cat who will follow you and sit at the door and try to get in. We aren't cat lovers, so this was a bit of a challenge. Overall it was great and I would stay again with a small group.

Great place to stay

4 couples stayed for the new years weekend. Everything was great. The deer that came to see us several times a day was just amazing and the idea to leave the corn to feed them was just awesome. Would stay here again in the future.

Perfect get away for two families

We rented Blue Badger to get together with friends after very little contact during the pandemic. The setup was perfect for our two families of 3 - with the bedrooms split between the floors to allow each family to have their own floor for sleeping. We were really impressed with the house. For our rainy weekend, the covered(and screened) porch was great, the game room was a hit, but the large main floor great room was where we spent much of our time catching up. Overall, this was a perfect house to get together and enjoy some downtime. As one of the two kindergarten kids on the trip asked, "Can we stay here for3 years?"

Great Experience

Beautiful home that is very close to Cacapon State Park. Only complaint we had was that there was no propane grill. The small electric grill was not an adequate substitute for our family. Otherwise, we had a great time in this home and enjoyed the area.

Lovely home in the hills of the WV panhandle

Lovely home, spacious and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen made it easy to cook at home. Easy communication with property managers. Very convenient to Cacapon State Park. Not tons to do in Berkeley Springs, but it was perfect for our low-key reunion.

Blue Badger

Blue Badger is a great place to stay. It's a big house (for our family of four), and the screened-in porch and game room were very nice. The neighborhood is right across the street from Cacapon State Park - we hiked and rode paddle boats, and there's a small beach for swimming. 15 minutes from Berkeley Springs but still felt very remote. Management was quick to answer all of my questions, and the house had everything we needed for our weekend getaway.

Perfect Getaway

Thanks for sharing your cottage. Perfect location with proximity to Berkeley Springs and Cacaphon State Park. Cozy cottage with a well stocked kitchen so cooking in is an easy option. Loved the deer wandering at will...even in the front yard!

Great for a weekend of food and fun

The house was just what we were looking for. It has a really well stocked kitchen, well laid out for cooking. And the screened in porch was perfect for watching sunsets and relaxing evenings. Great game room with pool table, Foosball, darts and more. Very close to Cacapon State Park and 15 mins from downtown Berkeley Springs.

Weekend away with friends
