The Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort is situated on more than thirty acres overlooking Kahului Bay in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, Amenities on-site include two outdoor swimming pools, a children s pool, exercise facility, and two outdoor hot tubs. The Kona timeshare resort provides events including an Aloha Monday Party with a flower lei greeting, complementary appetizers, live Hawaiian music, and hula dancing. The Wyndham resort also offers a variety of family events including ukulele lessons, Hawaiian storytelling, lauhala bracelet weaving, and Hawaiian angel doll making.

A daily transient and occupancy tax fee of $9.39 will be collected by the resort. Rate is subject to change.

Lovely place

The condo was well equipped and quiet. A good place to spend a couple of nights in Kona. The staff at reception were friendly with lots of suggestions.

Drab interior timeshare

The listing includes interior pictures of furniture that doesn’t exist. We were surprised to find out that every unit is identical because it is a timeshare rental. So that also means nothing personalized. The beds were comfortable and AC great. Lovely deck but never sat outside because all we could hear was the sound of ac units. I would only recommend this vrbo if you are a budget traveler.

Very clean Very Nuce staff

We stayed at this property to celebrate my grandson’s birthday and it was just a very nice property with very personable people at the front desk and on site. I felt safe welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and we would highly recommend it and stay there ourselves again

Beautiful property

The property was beautiful and nice amenities. We really enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful resort and really nice unit

The resort is very nice. The pool, the hot tub and area were nice and clean. We took a lesson to learn how to make an Hawaiian Lei. The teacher was so lovely. We all had a wonderful time.

Property was beautifully kept and staff was friendly. Cooking utensils were lacking. Carpet was a non-starter, tiles would have been less musty. Wi-fi could have had a bit more oomph, an odd place to save on cost. The grounds and bbq area was well maintained and excellent to use. Overall a place we could return in the future.

Spacious and comfortable, perfect location!

Location is minutes from restaurants, shopping and open air markets but feels far away from crowds and chaos when you want some quiet relaxation. Some units were farther from the pool and BBQ than we would enjoy but we were lucky enough to be just steps away. There is no view of the ocean despite how close it is (across the street but no access) but because there are few resorts located right on an accessible beach we were happy to pack up and adventure to several beaches within a short drive. Beds were comfortable and having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths it was perfect for accommodating two couples. We prefer to relax and eat at home and found the kitchen to be “adequate” but not overstocked. The lanai was great for quiet outdoor dining and playing games in the evening. The staff was incredibly accommodating and the arts and activities provided were an added surprise for little expense. Only thing we could have wished for would be extended access hours to the pool and hot tub, but that certainly wouldn’t keep us from returning and intend to do so again next year!
