Every detail has been designed to re-create the charming traditional Hawaiian island ambiance found back in the '30s, with all the modern amenities and activities you would expect in a tropical resort. Situated within walking distance from the beach in the charming Big Island town of Kailua-Kona and less than one hour away from the white sandy beaches of Hapuna Beach State Park - voted #1 top beach in 2021 from CNN Travel, guests will find themselves in tropical paradise. This resort is also near waterfalls, gorgeous lookouts, museums, golf courses, volcanoes and a multitude of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Learn all about the coffee making process at the Royal Kona Coffee Mill and Museum or go whale watching and swim with the dolphins when you visit Waikoloa Village.

These spacious two-bedroom units comfortably sleep up to six guests at 1,156 square feet. There is a king bed in the master, a king bed in the spare bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. You will appreciate the privacy of separate bedrooms, the economy of a fully equipped private kitchen and the convenience of a washer/dryer in each suite. Plus, a full dining area and TVs throughout are many comforts you just won't find in an average hotel room. Drab interior timeshare

The listing includes interior pictures of furniture that doesn’t exist. We were surprised to find out that every unit is identical because it is a timeshare rental. So that also means nothing personalized. The beds were comfortable and AC great. Lovely deck but never sat outside because all we could hear was the sound of ac units. I would only recommend this vrbo if you are a budget traveler.

Beautiful resort and really nice unit

The resort is very nice. The pool, the hot tub and area were nice and clean. We took a lesson to learn how to make an Hawaiian Lei. The teacher was so lovely. We all had a wonderful time.

Property was beautifully kept and staff was friendly. Cooking utensils were lacking. Carpet was a non-starter, tiles would have been less musty. Wi-fi could have had a bit more oomph, an odd place to save on cost. The grounds and bbq area was well maintained and excellent to use. Overall a place we could return in the future.

Spacious and comfortable, perfect location!

Location is minutes from restaurants, shopping and open air markets but feels far away from crowds and chaos when you want some quiet relaxation. Some units were farther from the pool and BBQ than we would enjoy but we were lucky enough to be just steps away. There is no view of the ocean despite how close it is (across the street but no access) but because there are few resorts located right on an accessible beach we were happy to pack up and adventure to several beaches within a short drive. Beds were comfortable and having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths it was perfect for accommodating two couples. We prefer to relax and eat at home and found the kitchen to be “adequate” but not overstocked. The lanai was great for quiet outdoor dining and playing games in the evening. The staff was incredibly accommodating and the arts and activities provided were an added surprise for little expense. Only thing we could have wished for would be extended access hours to the pool and hot tub, but that certainly wouldn’t keep us from returning and intend to do so again next year!
