With two great family/living room areas there's a place for everyone without being crowded !!
Families love the quick 5 minute drive to the main strip area and the ski summit as well as the lake!

Come visit our Swiss chalet style mountain home nestled in the tall pines on a quiet street just a few miles from downtown Big Bear! This property is freshly renovated and ready for lots of family fun! It can sleep up to 16 and has plenty of fun anytime of the year.
FREE LAUNDRY ON SITE please use High Efficiency (H.E.) detergents
With two decks on different levels there is plenty of room for all to enjoy. Feel like you are in a tree house nestled at the top of the pines on the upper deck with beautiful views of the forest and mountains. A nice gas grill and dining set outside just off the living room are great for cooking or a cup of coffee at sunrise. Down below at the opposite side of the home we have another outdoor area just off the family lodge area. Both are wonderful peaceful spaces to enjoy the giant pines that surround you on the property!
For the night time fun we have Foosball, ping pong, darts, corn-hole, poker/gaming table and a great lodge family area complete with a bar, large tv, and fireplace . The lodge is set up so that you and family and friends are able to watch a movie altogether as a group with plenty of seats for all; but, we also have other areas of the home for relaxation by the fireplace WITHOUT all of the hustle and bustle of the main lodge area. The living room offers a space with a fireplace and comfortable couches looking out through the pine forest.
Additionally, on the 3rd floor we have a small office nook for those who unfortunately need to spend time at the desk chasing work and life. (although the kitchen table can serve as the same with a view!)

Great Weekend Getaway

We stayed at this property Fri night - Mon morning. Access was easy, the house was cleaned. The kids enjoyed the downstairs "game room". Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen had plenty of plates and cookware. We would totally come back.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay in this amazing house was everything we could have asked for and more. The house is so spacious and cozy. We all loved it. There were 11 of us total with kids ranging from 2-17. The two living spaces are a perfect setup. All of the kids had so much fun playing games and walking around the neighborhood. We will absolutely look at renting this wonderful space again.

Great Place for the Family

There were 12 of us that were able to enjoy this beautiful home. It was even better than we expected. The accommodations for the whole family worked out perfectly. There was a well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking and serving supplies we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were two cozy living spaces with fireplaces. The property manager was very responsive and helpful when I called him with questions.

Great for a multiple family getaway

Property was as listed, except for parking. We fit 4 vehicles ok, but not sure how 7 cars can fit. Other than that... there's lots of space to spread out, kitchen was well stocked with pans/plates/utensils, and beds were fairly comfortable. Communication leading up to the stay was friendly and easy. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a large group (11) with 4 kids (ages 6-10) staying for 4 nights around New Years. The property was clean, spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. The kids had plenty of room to run around and play. There are various nooks and crannies on the 3rd floor where one can curled up with a book and be fairly isolated from the rest of the house. Everyone had a wonderful time. The host was very gracious. Check in was easy and streamlines. Would highly recommend.

Really could not ask for a better place. We were a group of 4 couples that have know each other for over 30 years! It was a perfect place for us to all have our own bedroom space. The kitchen is roomy and stocked better than any other place we've ever stayed. Three floors of different hang out options, plus an upper deck & lower patio, made it easy for people to find a quiet place to read, or to hang out and play games together. Really could not ask for a better place. We all said we'd like to come back! Thank you for the care you've put into making this space an inviting & comfortable place.

If you are thinking about booking this house! Do it now. The house was extremely clean and well organized. I almost didn’t want to touch anything that’s how perfect it was. I loved the game room down stairs great place to play poker and other games with the family. House is spacious and has enough restrooms for the limit of people. You will not regret staying here. Property owner was kind enough to let us check-in before our check-in time and replied to my txt within minutes (very attentive and helpful).

This was our Christmas 2022 vacation!

This property had an amazing amount of space for everyone. I have never rented & property so well stocked with everything!! We brought fans, games, extra blankets, tissue, paper towels.. But, we didn’t need our things, this property was well stocked. The resorts where basically around the corner, as was the shopping areas. We even put up a few Christmas lights & decorations outside! There are only a few small & minor issues. The bathroom tile should be replaced, on the 3rd level tub, not sure if there is molding ( but we didn’t use). And there was an huge issue with the internet throughout our entire stay. The owners tried to assist in every way, but there was no success. But, overall, I would definitely rent this place again… Thank you & Happy Holidays

Hosts were responsive and I appreciated the amount of space and the lay out for multiple families. Nice outdoor space and it's very nice to be given garage space to put cars in the winter (I feel like many rentals in the area don't provide that!). There were some things missing for our stay (not enough paper towels, a faulty knob on the stove, no dust pan to use the broom with, etc). Overall though, a very affordable, clean, and spacious option for larger parties close to many activities in Big Bear.

Perfect family vacation

Everyone had their own space in this three level home. But there was also plenty of room when we came together for meals on the deck and games in the lower level. Really glad there was Foosball, ping pong, darts, and spikeball. Plus a great assortment of board games. Would highly recommend for an intergenerational vacation.

Great Cabin Experience

This property is awesome! The cabin is great, most of the fun we had was at the cabin especially in the bar/ game room area. We also enjoyed that their was enough room for the 13 of us to be together while having enough space for everyone to get their own alone time when needed. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a cabin with a big group. This will fit all your needs and then some.

We love the lake community! Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking and the majesty of the giant pines in the forest. This is our family escape and hope it's yours too!

Why they chose this property

It's only a couple miles from everything, even the young kids don't mind the BIKE ride to downtown; but, that being said, it's still a quiet secluded area. from most areas of the house you can see the lights of the ski slopes at night; but, you're far enough away to not have to deal with the anarchy that immediately surrounds it.

What makes this property unique

With the two different decks in entirely different areas of the house we find that it works out great for separation of groups. Both are wonderful, our favorite is the feeling of sitting 40 feet up in the trees on the green deck off the living room. The breeze whispering through the trees and a cup of coffee at sunrise is awesome!
