Absolutely loved staying on Round Island. Close to Clayton and TI Park. Great boat ride up the river to A Bay. Neighbors were very friendly. Swimming, jumping from the platform and ice cream at the Guzzle were a few of our favorite things.
Love this house, love the River! Cajsa was great, all was as advertised. Thank you!

Enjoyable Week of Rest.
A great place to stay for a large family. The old victorian house was just great and modern enough to make us comfortable. Loved the extra stairway to the kitchen and all the extra space. Boat house was so convenient for our two boats (ski and small fishing boat) and two kayaks. Kids loved the platform (and so did the adults).
Round Island is quiet and peaceful. It is out of the main channel but you can still see the big ships. Clayton is only 5 minutes away. Kids went and got pizza by boat one night and we had went on many ice cream runs after dinner. ABay is only 25 or so minutes away too. Perfect spot for a quiet vacation.

We are so happy you enjoyed your vacation. Round Island is a quiet place to watch the ships go by on the main channel. The platform is so much fun. We are glad everyone got a chance to jump into the river. Clayton is a nice village with many different restaurants and shops.
Property was just as advertised. Beautiful home, well appointed, and the location was perfect for viewing ships, fishing, and just relaxing. Wonderful vacation. We would definitely return!
This home is wonderful for a large family. So much room for
eating, relaxing, nice bathrooms, full yard . The boathouse and dock area are spectacular, the water was crystal clear . We had 3 boats and still had plenty of room to swim from the dock . everyone loved the platform for jumping in the water. There is a second refridgerator which is very nice. Would absolutley stay here again
The location and setting of this cottage is bar none! We enjoyed an antique wooden boat parade our first mourning, what a treat. The boat house accommodated my 21 foot ski boat and the dock safely stored a larger boat using spring lines. The jumping platform was a huge entertainer! There are several bedroom set ups, unfortunately nothing larger than a double bed despite there being room. Plenty of room for eating indoors and out. The lighting was tough...very few outlets and rooms are dark. Overall, it was a great place to spend a week on the river...so much to do close by and easy to get to.
We had a wonderful week stay at Suuny Banks. The cottage was spacious and accommodating to our family. The jumping platform was a big hit as well as the covered boat house for housing my sons boat. We are looking forward to staying again next year!!
What a magical place to stay. Being on an island without cars and traffic noise was amazing.
My family had a great time on the island. We voted every day and spent a lot of time with the dog swimming and just relaxing by the water. Love seeing the freighters go by. So peaceful and secluded. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a secluded stay.
I particularly love the rustic nature of the cottage.
Great sunset views. Wonderful porch. The dock is awkward for a boat over 20 feet because the boathouse is narrow and the outside dock is subject to swells if the wind is high.
The house is just lovely with lots of places to sleep lots of people. It was comfortable and well appointed for the most part. The dishware/silverware could use an upgrade. The kids had a great time swimming, jumping off the dock and swinging on the swing set. The adults enjoyed gathering on the screened porch at the end of a fun-filled day. Covered boathouse was an added bonus.

Family vacation
We enjoyed a quiet family vacation at this beautiful Victorian home. We had all the accommodations of home. We learned about the history of Round Island by walking down to the post office. Enjoyed their screened in porch. We shopped in Alex Bay and Clayton. The kids loved to venture the island as well as enjoyed all the outside toy. What a fun family vacation.
My sister's family and I are the owners of this victorian cottage. We grew up in the summer in the 1000 islands. My family would spend time with my grandparents at this location. Over the years we have made many memories for us to enjoy.
Why they chose this property
We have been traveling to Clayton NY for over 50 years. Actually our family members have been traveling to Clayton for over 100 years. We feel that it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
What makes this property unique
Clayton is a small town with lots of history for your family to enjoy. The cottage has a great view of the main channel and it is on an island rich in history. The screen porch is a great feature for those rainy days as well as nice days. You can have your dinner while watching gorgous sunsets.
