The only negative about the flat is the 63 stairs you must walk up to reach it. There are 2 landings so you can take your time getting up them, but it is a chore to get larger bags up and down. Overall our experience was excellent. The space works as a 2 bedroom with the bedroom and living room each having its own door off the central hall. The living room door closes off the kitchen and living room, but does provide privacy to those sleeping and dressing in the living room. The bathroom appears recently updated and the kitchen has a microwave, oven, washer/dryer, fridge and cooktop all in good working order. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes assuming you're on holiday and making simple meals. The unit was being cleaned when we arrived and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There have been comments about the unit being difficult to find. I can understand some difficulty but the address is clearly marked above the entry door and the image on Google maps is correct and easily recognizable. It's at the end of The Harp pub - an excellent CAMRA recognized pub - and just at the right of an archway which has a heading of 'Institute of Chinese Medicine'. We couldn't have asked for a better location; walking times of 5 minutes or less to Trafalgar square, charing cross BritRail, Leicester Square and several of the West End theaters. 5 to 10 minutes to Covent Garden, a Tesco grocery, and the rest of the West End, and 10 to 20 to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. The view from the living room is good. The balcony views aren't but it is a decent space for 2 or 3 people to step out and get some fresh air. It holds a small table and 2 chairs.
