Perfect Mini Get Away
We booked this stay as part of a girls trip. Almost upon immediate arrival we were awestruck as to how amazing the property was. The house was perfect, both inside and out. Harlan was incredibly welcome and helpful in anything we needed. Despite the close proximity to where he stayed. He never meddled with us or caused any disruption for us. Joshua Tree National Park was only about 30 minutes from the property and stores were close. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for a nice stay!
The house was recently remodeled and decorated. Everything felt new and clean. The artists/owners live in another home on the same property. Harlan was a gracious host. I enjoy talking with visionary creative people, plus I really appreciated his recommendations for local experiences not found on the normal tourist tracks. He and his wife were also very respectful of guest privacy. The backyard “portal" space provided a nice environment for yoga or quiet contemplation, and the outdoor hot tub and surrounding patio were also great places to hang out for further relaxation. Thank you for a nice stay!
