Los esquiadores / motos de nieve / MountainBikers sueñan con jacuzzi al aire libre + Wi-Fi

Recientemente actualizado, dúplex de nivel superior decorado con buen gusto ubicado a solo siete millas de Killington Access Road. Esta cómoda casa está ubicada en los senderos para motos de nieve VAST (VT Association of Snow Travelers) y permite el acceso desde su camino de entrada. También estamos ubicados en senderos para bicicletas de montaña accesibles desde nuestra casa. La casa ofrece hermosas vistas a la montaña desde el interior de las grandes puertas corredizas de vidrio o en la amplia terraza de 50x12. Disfrute de relajarse en el jacuzzi privado al aire libre después de un día lleno de diversión de esquí, motos de nieve, snowboard o raquetas de nieve. O simplemente puede relajarse y relajarse con una bebida refrescante y cálida.

La casa está a solo siete millas de la vida nocturna en Killington Access Road, si elige irse. También hay restaurantes a solo media milla. Puede decidir preparar una comida en la cocina completamente equipada con gabinetes nuevos, isla central de granito, refrigerador grande, microondas, cafetera y horno tostador. Y sí, hay muchas ollas y sartenes buenas y cuchillos afilados que no decepcionarán (¡nos gusta cocinar y comer!)

Abastecemos la cocina con toallas de papel, detergente para platos y lavavajillas, filtros de café, envoltura de plástico, papel de aluminio, bolsas Ziploc, bolsas de basura de cocina, y dejamos especias y algunos condimentos. Además, se suministra detergente para la ropa, sábanas para la secadora, jabón de manos y papel higiénico ... ¡todo esto hace una gran diferencia cuando comienzas a empacar el auto! (y te ahorra bastante dinero si compraste a la llegada).

Los niños lo pasarán en grande haciendo un país de las maravillas en la nieve en la gran propiedad. Tenemos un telesilla "retirado" que los niños adoran. Si los niños aún no están cansados al final del día, pueden deslizarse por la colina en la propiedad.

Deje su equipo de esquí en la sala de barro y entre en un hogar cálido y relajante. Si tiene una familia / grupo numeroso, también tenemos una unidad inferior con capacidad para 10 personas que está disponible para alquiler (haga clic a continuación en "Todos mis listados de alquiler") para obtener más información.

Great stay

The house was a great place to stay while we skied for a week. The hot tub was an excellent perk, especially after the work on the slopes. Unfortunately when we arrived, the cleaning service had clearly not done their job and we had to do a lot to clean the floors, dining, and kitchen areas, but when we contacted Dean about the issue, he was quick to respond and work with us to make the situation right. My only other concern was that the bunk beds were not stable and if we had been needing to use them would have likely put the mattresses on the floor since they are badly broken. Overall, the space was comfortable, accessible, and a lovely place for three generations to spend the week skiing and celebrating the new year.

Perfect ski weekend with friends

Our group of 8 friends had a great stay at Lori & Dean's home. The house is exactly as described. Very clean with modern appliances and had everything we needed to cook and clean up after ourselves. The house has no cell service (they mentioned to us ahead of time!) but the wifi worked great and they have a house line if you need to make calls. The drive to the mountain for skiing is about 15 minutes but still quite convenient. Would stay here again on future trips to Killington!

It’s a great location and very responsive owner. It’s not a brand new house, but everything works well. We loved the hot tub! Nice touch!

Great getaway

This place has it all - well stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, books and games, hot tub, king bed for the adults and bunk beds for the kids. Very relaxing. Two things to be aware of is that it was about 20 minutes to base lodges at Killington which is not bad but not convenient for popping home for lunch. Also it is a duplex so there was another party downstairs. But overall a great place and we would stay again!

Cozy stay easy access to mountains

Great place to stay if your looking for a place close to ski resorts yet remote enough to have that cabin feel! Dean was super responsive and place was labeled well and had directions on table when you arrived. New hot tub was clean and easy to operate. Definitely a fair price and we would highly recommend!

The house is efficiently equiped to stay, it is close to a nice pond for kayaking and walking trails. It was peaceful and fun!

Great Weekend getaway with friends

Everything was good, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of linens and extra towels. Easy access to the mountain. Dean was quick to respond when we needed a hand. Hot tub was clean and ready to go!

Great for a group!

This house is great for groups or a couple of families. Dean (the owner) provides great instructions and is incredibly responsive. The outdoor hot tub is great and as advertised. We would definitely stay there again!

Very comfortable cabin in great location. GREAT deck! However, some items in need of TLC.

The cabin was in a great location with a fantastic view and deck. Great layout and very comfortable and cozy! The owner was very responsive when we had questions! We overall had a great time. However, some areas did need some TLC. The internet and phones were out in the area the duration of our trip - however the owner did get back to us trying to figure out the problem. The hot tub could use a cleaning so we sadly couldn't use it. (Huge bummer for us). There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer and toaster which is a huge plus and we were grateful to have them. But they are older appliances and some in need of repair/replacement. If you want a cozy cabin for the family this place does the trick! Stayed here with a toddler and my parents and worked well for all of us. The Fall colors were amazing! Just note some things may be older/dated.

Perfect For The Weekend

We had a great weekend staying at Lori's house- it was super clean, very cozy and the access to the hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day of skiing! The kitchen is one of the most well stocked we have come across in a rental house- everything you need to prepare any meal is right there for you! We highly recommend staying here.

Perfect house for winter getaway

The house had everything you could ever need. We used the hot tub, sat by the fireplace, and cooked chili. The drive to the base of Killington was only about 15 minutes. The only issue was that there was absolutely no signal, but the wifi worked great.

Awesome Place!

My friends and I wanted a close place to stay because we were doing the Spartan Beast this past weekend and this was a suggestion from one of my friends. Lori was super friendly in sending me driving directions and sent me all the info I needed to make the stay as easy as possible. We even somehow managed to lock ourselves out of the cabin and when I sent her an email she promptly replied with how to get back in the cabin. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great place to stay that's quite close to Killington Ski Resort. Thanks again Lori!

Nice and Relaxing

We would highly recommend staying at Lori and Dean's home. Everything was very nice and clean, and it was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 teens. We were visiting from Texas and were hoping to enjoy snow on our visit, but unfortunately El Nino affected our plans. We were able to enjoy some day trips to see the sights in Vermont-of course everyone's favorite was going to Ben and Jerry's. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub every evening.

Comfortable and clean

Overall we enjoyed our stay. One thing I didn't notice in previous reviews is that there is no cell phone service at the property. A land line and wifi make up for it, but upon our arrival they were both out because a tree limb fell on the wire. Once that was sorted out, the rest of the stay was enjoyable.

Very clean, everything we needed

Lori and Dean's home was a great place to stay for a few days near Killington and we would highly recommend it. Two teens and 3 adults were very comfortable at the house (with room for several more) and spent our time playing games, going in the hot tub, and relaxing. Everything we needed was provided, and the owners were very responsive when we called with questions. I wish I could say the skiing was great too, but with absolutely no snow and only one beginner trail open, Killington was a bust. Guess I'll continue working to wake folks up about climate change! Our only negative is the road and driveway leading in to the house - we had a full afternoon and night of icy rain and could not get up the driveway. It was late morning before the trucks had come to salt the road and the next door neighbor was very cranky about where we could park. The owners had provided sand/salt to spread on the driveway, and also sent a truck with salt once I called to let them know the situation. We did not have a four-wheel drive vehicle, which would have helped. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

Beautiful, warm and welcoming

We enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday at this beautiful home snuggled in the tree's at Killington. It was a beautiful home, clean, fully supplied, warm and welcoming! The hot tub was an incredible way to end the day after skiing! Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience. The home was perfect for our visit to the Northeast. great location, lots of friendly people, and the home had everything we needed and more! Hot tub was great after a day of riding motorcycles around the mountains. Hope to return soon.

Perfect spot for our race weekend!

There were 5 of us (adults) who rented this home for the weekend. We needed a place to stay for the Spartan Race weekend at Killington Resort! The home was perfect for us, immaculately clean and everything was as stated in the description. The hot tub was perfect to help soothe our sore muscles after a long day on the mountain. The owners were very accommodating when we requested late checkout so that we could come back and shower after our 2nd race day before we headed for our long drive home! Overall it suited our needs perfectly. Great location, about 25 minutes from the mountain and there are 2 country stores and a gas station down the road should you need anything during your stay. We would definitely recommend this spot and may stay here again in the future!

Fun vacation at the ski house

Two couples met for a week's summer vacation in Vermont, using the Killington Ski House as our base. We did day trips each day, cooked meals, used the gas grill several times and just relaxed and enjoyed some much needed down time together. The living room was perfect for us as there are 3 comfy couches. The beds were nice, too. We enjoyed the local market and Picarello's Pizza in Pittsfield, the World's Best Breakfast at the Swiss Farm Inn and Tozier's restaurant in Bethal. All are musts if you're staying at the ski house. Thanks for a fun vacation spot, Lori.

Dean and I are people who truly enjoy the benefits of Vermont, and particularly Killington. Dean has been skiing since he was a child, was part of the Killington ski team and still can't get enough. I'm still trying to keep up with him. We enjoy having our large family up to the house, but not just for skiing. We have the house ready for cooking big meals as well as for relaxing and playing at home. We hope that all who come to our home enjoy as much as we do. We take pride in our home and expect that anyone who rents will enjoy themselves.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Dean chose Killington because of his history with the mountain, but I choose it because it offers so much for people like me who want to ski, but sometimes need to do other things. Dean has been skiing at Killington since childhood with his family and as part of the Killington Ski team. He can't get enough of skiing and I can't get enough of the fabulous activities and wonderfull feeling of being in the Green Mountains.
