Small Beach Cottage near the Coastal Trail and The Ritz

Adorable, small but very efficient cottage with loft and completely private yard and patio. This historic cottage converted from a Speakeasy, sleeps 4 close friends or family members comfortably. This space works for a party of close and intimate relations. The main space is a studio-type layout with kitchenette, toilet, shower and queen bed. The loft also has a queen size bed. Large patio, outdoor swing and fireplace make this cottage an ideal place to relax. Beach is about 500 yards through the neighborhood.
One thing to note is this place doesn’t have much privacy. Please scrutinize our pictures closely to make sure this space is right for you.

    what a charming cottage and a great location just a short drive to the beach entrance you can walk it also. Our dog Charlie also approved. We were only there for 2 days our host gave us some great suggestions on pet friendly places to go. A great way to experience Half Moon Bay

    What a terrific place this is! We had a great time. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions and even gave us an early check in due to rainy weather! Very quiet and secluded from the main house with a separate entrance. I really appreciated the very safe and tranquil neighborhood! It is a short walk to the beach and we wish we would have brought our bikes so we could ride the terrific trail along the bluffs above the beach. The place was clean and beds were comfy and we very much enjoyed our stay.

    The place is wonderful—very cozy and comfortable. My husband, our teenage daughter, our dog, and I stayed here and really enjoyed it. It looks like the unit has been recently remodeled, and while the photos don’t exactly match, the overall feel is the same—actually, it’s even better in person. It’s more spacious than expected, the bathroom is clean, and the remodeled kitchenette is cute, usable, and convenient.The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood. It was a bit of an adventure walking my dog and finding paths around the area. The beach is about a 20-minute walk.For the price this rents out, I would recommend adding a Keurig coffee maker and some basic utensils. I made dinner and then realized there were no utensils, which was a bit frustrating. I’m sure we could have reached out since the hosts were responsive, but we didn’t.Another small suggestion would be to add a foldable dining table.Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.
