Loved our mini vaca! You can hear the neighbors through the wall and the walk to the beach is long, BUT the credit for beach supplies was a huge plus!! We loved being so close to the pools!

Very spacious and excellent location

Very close to the beach. We had plenty of space, and the property was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again

Plenty of room, nice location

Our family enjoyed the space and location offered by this rental. This is a “sleeps 9” rental and our group of 8 had plenty of room throughout the house and several balcony areas. Only complaint is the mattress on the sleeper sofa definitely needs to be replaced. We enjoyed the beach being just a short walk from the house. The area was nice and quiet! Overall a great stay. Thank you!

Great Stay

We have stayed at Plantation many times, but this was our first time in one of the beach cottages. It’s a great property just a short walk to the beach boardwalk. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for a family, and we enjoyed the living space on the first floor separate from the upstairs sleeping areas. The 2 pools were never over crowded, even for the July 4 holiday. The property managers were very helpful and responsive. We’ll be back!

Good layout but a little dirty

This property was a short walk to the beach and the layout of the home is good for a family of 5 however the home could use some updates and the cleaning crew should do a better job. There were dead flies on the window ledges and the kitchen utensils were dirty. The shower curtain had mold on it and there was thick dust on lamps and the hairdryer cord. Overall we enjoyed our stay just wish it was cleaned a little better.

Dirty and run down

Palace B was dirty, carpet was stiff and crusty, spider webs in the corners, crap under the bed from prior visitors, master bath was musty and Mildew. Coffee cups had lipstick stains, dishes had to all be washed before use. It seemed like they tried to patch the place from the hurricane damage instead of fixing it correctly. We loved the area, pools, beach access, but we would not stay at palace B again. It made us cringe with the kids sitting on the carpet to play.

Disappointed in Cleanliness

Pros: Size - the bedrooms are a good size. You could sleep 8+ people. Lots of room for a large group. Management - I had to contact them the morning after we arrived. They responded immediately. Property - They have made several improvements since we were there last. We enjoyed the on-site restaurant as well as having options for pools. The beach is also beautiful. Cons: Cleanliness - I spent our 1st night washing dishes. Straight from the cabinet, they were dirty. Greasy handprints, smelly liquid in the bottom of cups as if someone used it then put it back in the cabinet. I washed some and kept those separate from the rest. When I contacted management they offered to send a cleaner but since I spent my 1st night washing dishes, towels, sweeping floors and getting sand off furniture, I wished it had been done before we arrived. Not after. Overall upkeep - This duplex could be so much better. There is paint bubbled in several corners, the carpet needs cleaned or removed and the bedding in the master is stained. Lastly, we could not only hear our neighbors quite well, but we also smelled everything they cooked. The entire bottom floor smelled like peppers & onions for our visit. There needs to be some type of soundproofing done. Unless you are renting both sides, be prepared to hear everything.

We are terribly sorry you had issues with cleanliness upon arrival and would've happily had any issues handled for you had you not declined. We understand these items should have been done prior to your arrival, however this summer season has been the absolute worst experience with keeping goood housekeepers on staff. As for the noise from the neighbors and smelling everything they cook, this is a duplex unit that we have stated clearly in the details of the listing. When you book one side of this property, you must know that it could be hit or miss as to who is occupying next door. We are so sorry you feel this property needs attention, as we have had several good reviews for this exact property. Dreary at best

The kitchen lacked adequate supply of pots and pans, what was there needed replacing for sure. The TV cable package is the worst . Master bedroom signal constantly going out, poor selection of programs. The outside of the unit still has missing ceiling panels in the roof and carport ares.stains in the carpet,soft spots in the floor by the kitchen exterior door. Needs a deep clean and bedding updated .sewer roaches in master bedroom bathroom
