Very enjoyable place to say in the middle of Carlton. Fun little town with great food and lots of tasting options. the Lofts are right in the middle of things and are warm and quirky.
My husband and I do wine tasting every May and this year we stayed in Carlton. We had a great time. The loft was perfect and we could walk everywhere. Great spot!
If you want a great lowkey place to stay close to wineries and great food this is where you want to be. You cannot be any closer to downtown and walking distance to all you need for an enjoyable stay. Rooms are well appointed and clean with easy in and out access to the main street or your parked car in the back.
Very convenient location. Easy check in, very clean. There is truck traffic noise early in the morning since the loft faces the main traffic route. We would stay there again.
Accommodations were excellent. Snacks and coffee were great touches as was the wine fridge. Ok, so the color scheme of the room is a little dark and dated, but everything about the place is high quality and we were very comfortable. Very roomy.
The Lofts are wonderful - centrally located, pretty quiet (if you mind traffic noise, try to get a room at the back), and very well equipped. Well worth a stay if you’e wine tasting in the area.
Great place in the heart of wine country. Very nice amenities. Great shower. Warm place. Secure. Quiet. Very well situated to grab convenience items, breakfast, or anything without getting in a car.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and will stay again next time we are in Carlton. Some comments though…the black toilet was a terrible idea. It looks dirty even when it may not be. The bathroom sink is too small to accommodate normal toiletries/shaving gear, etc. for more than one person. The bedroom lighting is such that if you want to read while in bed, you must get up and go to a switch on the opposite side of the room to turn off the light. The small diagonal, steel, bedside table on one side of the bed actually overhangs the sleeping side of the bed and is a serious head banger if you happen to get up in the middle of the night. It should be replaced, perhaps with a floor lamp. Also, it would be good to have a normal coffee maker or some ground coffee for your nice French press. The espresso machine is great, but only for someone who wants 2-3 ounces of high octane espresso. Again, the Lofts are wonderful and our room was more so. My sister lives just around the corner and we will stay there again when we return to visit. These “gripes” are simple things that could make a visit better.
The Wine lofts are conveniently located in Carlton, Oregon, within a short in driving distance to several vineyards and tasting rooms. The accommodations are clean, spacious, and well appointed. We would definitely come back.
Brought the wife here for her birthday weekend. The room is within walking distance of about a dozen places to wine taste and eat. We will absolutely be returning.
The Wine Lofts are in the perfect location in adorable Carlton and Carrie was incredibly helpful and communicative. It's no more than 15 minutes from all the best wineries!
We stayed two nights and found this location perfect for seeing the local wineries. The tasting at Ken Wright right next store was one of our favorites! Our loft was right on the Main Street which meant we heard traffic day and night so be aware of which unit you book! The other units not on the street wouldn’t have any noise issues. The room and accommodations lived up to billing and pictures. We’d stay at Carlton again.
