The location was great for a winter ski trip. Very close to lifts, restaurants, & village ski rentals. Comfortable, well stocked. The owners were very communicative. Would stay here again!
Wonderful accommodations. And the owners are very responsive. The condo is right by the hot tub, which we dipped in every day. It’s large and very clean. We really enjoyed our time at the mountain. The condo’s rooms are roomy and comfortable for a small group like us (2 adults & 10 y.o.). We played games and cooked great meals in a kitchen with all the amenities and cooking tools one needs. I would definitely stay here again. This year’s snow cover to the resort was poor, but we only had to hike across the level parking lot to get our tix. This is a great VRBO!
This was the perfect ski in ski out for our family of 4! Close to lift #2 & #3, clean, reasonably priced and great to work with. Thanks for a great weekend!
Wonderful location with everything we needed. The condo was much more spacious than anticipated! Bed was very comfortable. There is construction going on right outside (new condos being built) but they didn't start until 8am on weekdays (nothing on wknd). Cliff was very easy to reach when we had questions. Highly recommend.
Great location, great condo. Proximity to lifts, restaurants and rentals all perfect. Disappointed there was no hot tub as described, but did not affect our overall experience. Thank you for sharing your property.
We had a great time and the resort was also fantastic. The condo could have used a grill. Also it was way too hot in the condo, the thermostat needs to be set lower. The key didn't work for the spa so we couldn't use the hot tub which was abuuner because we were looking forward to it. But all in all it was a great location, love the ground floor condo and it was super clean, looked way better in person than the pics. We definitely would stay here again and reccomend it to anybody. Thanks Pat and Skip for a wonderful stay!

Thank you for your review Landi, We apologize for the inconvenience. The thermostat, while set on an automatic mode, can be overridden manually and there is placard on the wall that should have explained that. We are also considering a portable AC unit, but most of our neighbors say that it isn't required usually.
Unfortunately, the hot tub closes for the summer months per the Edelweiss Homeowners Association rules. I have just learned this myself and will be sure to inform guest in the future.
And yes we agree that a grill would be nice, but once again it is against HOA rules, but we have noticed that some other ground floor units have them, so we will look into it.
Once again, thank you for your inputs.
Whitefish Summer Hiking Visit-Flathead Area-Glacier Nat'l Park
What a great condo with easy access to many trails in and around the Whitefish area. The home was set up perfectly for our needs with all a person(s) would need. Very organized with pics of how to replace the dishes and directions to get anything you need.
We utilized the Whitefish Trail system, the Flathead Lake area and checked out Big Fork, all using the condo as our home base. After 5 days at the condo, we went closer to Glacier for some glamping which was also great but we were shocked at how close Whitefish is to Glacier NP. We found a lot of people use Whitefish as their base to get into Glacier NP as it's only about 30 minutes away?
All in all, it's a fabulous place to visit and this unit won't disappoint you!
We stayed here in summer. 1st floor and proximity to the lift was very convenient. Kitchen was well equipped. No AC but the fans were sufficient for a comfortable summer night sleep
The condo was well-equipped and well-organized. The bathroom heater was a real plus on cold days! It's a great ski-in, ski-out location. We enjoyed not having to carry luggage and groceries up multiple flights of stairs. The hosts have done a terrific job of making it easy for guests to settle in to the condo.
The unit was well stocked with cooking gear and some staples. It was clean and comfortable. Access required closely following directions but thereafter was a snap. Our only snafu was the wifi which continually dropped our devices and sometimes required a password reentry to restore. As most of our time was spent outside, this was a morning and evening annoyance.
The unit was located in the whitefish mountain ski resort. As it was the end of the summer season, the resort was quiet and not many businesses were open. However, just down the mountain were some of the best restaurants in Whitefish where we enjoyed some of the best meals of our trip: The Last Chair, Wich Haus, Jalisco Cantina and Bonzai Brewing were all located within a few miles of the unit.
FYI, it took about 45 minutes to reach Glacier National Park on roads that were never crowded.
The owners were responsive and helpful, I really appreciate there quick communication and the departure reminders.

Property was very clean and had everything you needed. Be aware there is a 10 am checkout and they will not extend this time.

Thank you for your review Lynda. We just want you and others to know that whether we allow a late check out or not depends on the situation. In your case, there were people coming in behind you on the same day, and in the age of Covid we don't feel that is fair to put more pressure on the housekeeping staff when they are under quite enough pressure even under normal circumstances. The 10 am check out time is well published and should not have come as a surprise. Had the next round of guest been coming a day or two later, a later check out would not have been a problem.
Awesome stay for our time in Glacier National Park!
The pictures don’t do this condo justice! It’s absolutely charming and has everything you need. We loved our stay here. Incredibly spacious and comfortable for a group of 3 friends. We loved all of the Montana themed touches. Communication with hosts was great. Whitefish is an adorable town. Would absolutely stay again!!
Comfortable and very clean property. Walkable to mountain facilities. Unfortunately, limited summertime hours. Owner very receptive and quick to respond.
Skip and Pat’s place is a perfect location for summer and winter activities. The place is very clean with comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen and a small outside patio ideal for relaxation (we didn’t get to sit outside since we always got back late at night). Overall the place is as described. Will definitely come back in the wintertime for skiing.

Whitefish Condo
We were unable to access our rental due to the key not being in the lock box. It was about 8:30 PM and tried all 4 phone numbers on our check in documents. None worked or were the wrong number. We were forced to find another place to stay late in the night in an area without available accommodations. It was not until the next day that the owner reached out to us, as they live in West Virginia. We paid about the same price per night for a small, smelly hotel room in what seems to be employee housing.
The Owner was apologetic and helped us get into our condo, but I was late to my conference by then. The owner did credit us 2 nights stay, one being the night we did not stay in the condo. Although this conference visit at a destination area started out badly, we were able to stay in the condo the rest of our stay and it was MUCH better than the hotel room we were able to find the first night.
The owner said he would try to find a better way to make sure a key is available for renters, and I let him know he needed to review the 4 phone numbers he has listed as they were not correct. I recommend trying his phone number before traveling to this condo to make sure you can reach them in the event you are stuck outside at night in northern Montana.

Once again our apologies are in order. We so regret the inconvenience that you experienced.
We give people very specific instructions to assure that the keys and parking pass are returned to their proper place for subsequent guest, but unfortunately and more and more often we are finding that some people either don't read the instructions or possibly don't understand them. This is the first time that such a problem has occurred which has made us realize that a better back up plan is in order and shall be implemented. As far as the phone numbers are concerned, we have checked for their accuracy and can assure you and anyone else that the numbers are accurate. Being on eastern time we had retired for the day and simply did not hear your calls on this particular evening. I am now more diligent about keeping my cell phone close to me at all times.
We do appreciate your patience and good spirits that you exercised during a very frustrating experience.
About the host

We are presently living in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia, but came to Whitefish to ski some years ago and decided that it had to be in our future. We finally decided to purchase our condo in 2018. We are looking forward to spending a lot more time out here now.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Whitefish instantly. The skiing is fantastic, the people are great, the town of Whitefish is a lot of fun and Kalispell has just about anything you would need. There is no lack of beauty where ever you go and no matter what direction you look.
What makes this property unique
Outdoor activities is what it is all about at Whitefish. Winter activities such as skiing, cross county skiing, snow shoeing, back country exploring, ice fishing, snow snowmobiling and much more will take the bite out of winter. In the summer, Fly fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, Hiking, camping or just exploring the many beautiful surroundings such as Glacier National Park, or any of the numerous state parks that are close by, will keep even the most adventurous satisfied. No matter what time of year you come to Whitefish, there will be something to do, making it a true four season get away.
