Welkom bij Xanadu ...
Een afgelegen en ontspannen Waterfront Oasis.
Volledig gerenoveerd en bijgewerkt. Volledig voorzien van airconditioning 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers 1.800sf huis met een prachtig uitzicht op Elizabeth Harbor en Stocking Island.
2 King suites, 1 met ensuite. 3e. slaapkamer herbergt een koningin.
Wifi.
2 patio's voor het vinden van wat 'mij'-tijd.
Een groot dek dat de voorkant van het huis overspant om ritten op te vangen in een van de ligstoelen, ontspan op de bank en kijk hoe de boten de haven binnenvaren of eet buiten met de buiten eettafel met plaats voor 4-6 personen, allemaal terwijl je de steeds veranderende magische tinten van het turquoise water bekijkt.
Binnen- geniet van een goed gevulde keuken, 5-pits gasfornuis, elec. oven, broodrooster, koffiezetapparaat, enz. ... voorraadkast. Alles wat je nodig hebt, voeg gewoon je boodschappen toe.
Eettafel die geschikt is voor 6-8 personen.
Grote serre met uitzicht op het dek en de haven.
Netflix en een bibliotheek met dvd's in de tv-ruimte. Ook games en puzzels als je een dag vrij wilt nemen om te verkennen.
Slechts enkele stappen naar de waterkant. Een rotsstrand met treden die naar het water leiden, is perfect om te snorkelen en op jacht te gaan naar zanddollars. (Snorkeluitrusting inbegrepen.)
Xanadu ligt op 10 minuten van de luchthaven.
Op loopafstand van een supermarkt en slijterij.
3 minuten rijden naar het dichtstbijzijnde strand, Jolly Hall Beach (een van degenen die je kunt zien vanuit het huis.)
Tal van restaurants op minder dan 5 minuten afstand.
We raden u aan een auto te huren, zodat u Exuma kunt verkennen en wat het te bieden heeft ...
Huurboten beschikbaar bij Minns Water Sports.
Maak een excursie om te zwemmen met de varkens, speel met de leguanen en snorkel in Thunderball Grotto, waar ze een paar films van Bond, James Bond filmden. ;)

NO baby oil. It melts plastic drinking glasses, painted surfaces... Please keep doors or screen doors closed or geckos will get in and poo EVERYWHERE!
Rinse off snorkel gear and beach items with fresh water. The salt corrodes everything Super-fast!! :( Thx! DON'T TIE ANYTHING TO THE SWIM LADDER! THX!

Beautiful Property; Great Location

We enjoyed our time at Xanadu House and appreciated all of the information shared ahead of our trip. This home was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed snorkeling on the shore at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and full size shower products were provided. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent. Exuma is a beautiful place and Xanadu was the perfect headquarters for our trip!

Our family stay at Xanadu House exceeded all expectations with amazing panoramic views of Exuma blue and calming ocean. The decor of Xanadu made you feel as part of the ocean with seashells, starfish, corrals, and ocean colors. The sunrise each morning with captivating vibrant colors of the ocean and sun glint was breathtaking. Since the initial booking reservation and throughout our stay, Lisa was consistently available and provided recommendations of places to dine, tours, beaches to visit and much more. Loved this home and the views are INCREDIBLE! Our family had a relaxing holiday week soaking up the sun and the laid-back Exuma vibes. Close to grocery (and liquor) stores with a well-equipped kitchen, we were able to cook at home when we didn't want to go out. Communication with Lisa (owner) was great - they provided lots of local interest info and were prompt and friendly. Highly recommend Xanadu!

Xanadu was a great place for 4 winter weary pals to relax and just enjoy everything that Great Exhuma has to offer. Next time I would probably pack food so that I could take advantage of the well equipped kitchen that Xanadu has to offer.

Great Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The house was even better and bigger than the pictures showed. We rented a boat and had a great time exploring all of the beaches and Stocking Island. Lisa was very helpful in getting us everything we needed prior to arrival. The house was very well equipped. We would recommend staying at Xanadu!

A beautiful stay!

A gorgeous home full of character! We loved that we could snorkel right off the property! Best snorkeling we found, actually! The starts were AMAZING! The walk down to the water, as well as entering the water (especially at low tide) may be a challenge for someone with mobility issues, but, we loved it!

Number 1… the house is absolutely beautiful! the island is amazing the food fantastic. We went to several different beaches, rented a boat for 2 days, the sting rays at chat n chill are super sweet and let you feed them. I will definitely be back again..

Beautiful House!

We really enjoyed staying at Xanadu House. The photos accurately portray the house. The views are lovely and we enjoyed swimming out front. The house is close enough to Georgetown that getting in to town is fast and easy. We kayaked over to Jolly Hall beach, which you can see from the front deck.

Wonderful vacation with our Adult children

Lovely, comfortable well equipped home close to beaches and shopping . The front deck has the most spectacular view of Elizabeth Harbour and incredible sunrise . Hosts left wine and cold beer along with a fridge and pantry stocked with the basics . 10/10 !!

We did a lot of island hoping to find the one that was right for us.
As soon as we stepped foot on Exuma we knew it was the island for us.
From the magical colors of the ocean to the friendly locals.
Then we found Xanadu. Or should I say it found us. :)
It felt like home when we walked through the door.
Then we saw the view. An ever changing, surreal, jaw dropping, gorgeous water view.
Then we got to work fixing her up. Giving her the TLC she hadn't been getting in awhile.
Now we're able to enjoy all of her spender and share it with others. :)

Being on a hill, we enjoy the ever breezy trade winds.
Watching the sunrise from bed, or with a cup of coffee on the deck.
After a day of snorkeling or beach hopping, enjoying the outdoor shower with that incredible view!
