Norcross Cottage, calme chalet au bord du lac dans le Maine pays orignal

Ce gĂźte de charme historique est attachĂ© Ă  notre maison et notre annĂ©e maison d'hĂŽtes. Il se trouve dans une crique tranquille avec accĂšs aux 5 grands lacs autour de lui. Il est Ă  5 miles de la ville de Millinocket et est facile d'accĂšs. Il est un endroit merveilleux pour les activitĂ©s nautiques ou tout simplement se dĂ©tendre par l'eau. Il est aussi un excellent point de dĂ©part pour la rĂ©gion Katahdin y compris Baxter State Park. Nous avons un bateau Ă  aubes, deux canots, kayaks et deux disponibles. Observer les oiseaux, feuilles peep, montre l'orignal, rafting, randonnĂ©e, kayak, nager, pĂȘcher, x-country ski, raquettes, VTT, motoneige ou tout simplement se dĂ©tendre et profiter de la vue. Nous sommes Ă  proximitĂ© d'un rĂ©seau de sentiers. Il suffit de laisser la maison et a frappĂ© les sentiers.

We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautifully and lovingly maintained property. Faye and Don were incredibly warm and friendly hosts, and provided us with some fascinating history of the area and home, as well as great tips on where to sightsee. Everything was so cozy and comfortable, and the setting is absolutely picturesque and gorgeous everywhere you look. This is truly a gem of a place and we both can't wait to come back again for another visit, for a longer period of time!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Faye and Donnie’s quaint little cottage. The property is beautiful and serene. The area is very quiet and has a spectacular view of the lake. It’s located about five minutes from town and 15 minutes from all the activities and restaurants at NEOC. Faye and Donnie couldn’t have been better host’s. We would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it to those considering staying in Millinocket.

We enjoyed the place - it had everything we needed. The hosts, Faye and Donny, were so friendly and kind. Donny spent a lot of time giving us directions to find ice caves and places to see moose even when we got there quite late the first night! The lakeside location is peaceful and they have canoes and kayaks. If we ever travel to Maine again we will stay here again!

Perfect base camp for a Katahdin hike. Faye and Donnie are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Told us where to spot moose and we saw 2 exactly where and when they told us. Lake is full of smallmouth as well

Excellent stay - feels like visiting family (in the best way possible!)

Donny and Faye were lovely - their property was very comfortable, and they clearly go above and beyond to make it a good experience. We loved staying on the water, and they even took us out on their boat for a tour of the surrounding lakes. We really enjoyed our time there (especially our kids), and we would definitely go back!

The Norcross Cottage was perfect for us my son-in-law and I with his four children ranging in age from 7 to 15. The house was immaculate and well furnished with space for all to eat together, play games, and sleep comfortably. The outdoor setting on a lake with kayaks, canoes, and paddleboat expanded our world even further.Faye and Donny could not have been more welcoming and enriched our stay through their warmth and knowledge.Staying here enabled us to easily access Baxter Stare Park, then return happy hikers to this welcoming setting. A definite return destination!

This is the 2nd time we stayed with Donny and Faye and we love them and their place! So nice and hospitable, clean and cozy, plenty of room and amenities. Timely cleaning of snow and walkway and the house was nice and warm and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again !

It was an awesome getaway to Penobscot, my first time in Millinocket and Norcross. Beautiful views, trips to Baxter SP area. This is a VERY kind home and VERY friendly and attentive hosts. Thanks A LOT for a really cozy vacation!!!
