Palmetto Cottage - Historic 1925 cottage in Downtown Fairhope

Palmetto Cottage is a quintessential Fairhope cottage located close to downtown Fairhope. This nearly 100 year old house has been fully renovated and filled with charm and character. Named one of Southern Living's best small towns, Fairhope has plentiful shopping, great restaurants and fun night life within a short walk. The Fairhope pier is a short distance away where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Mobile Bay or stroll along the beach.

The cottage has a full kitchen with Keurig coffee maker and microwave, washer and dryer and a cute covered porch on which to relax. There are two bedrooms, each has a queen size bed, and shared hall bath with large shower (no tub). We provide an initial supply of coffee, creamer, sugar, toiletries and laundry detergent for few days. Folding beach chairs and beach towels are available for guest use.

Please know that since this cottage is almost a 100 years old it has small hallways and doors.

Driveway is tight so no trailers or campers are allowed.

***Now available to rent!!! Palmetto Carriage House, which is a separate rental located behind Palmetto Cottage on the same property, is an open concept studio apartment with a king size bed, living room, full bath and efficiency kitchen. The carriage house has a private entrance and secluded back porch. Perfect if you need space for a few extra guest but still private enough to feel secluded. The Carriage House is a separate rental and not available to use unless a separate rental is booked.
