Mas Suerte Wimberley - Creek House

Come enjoy the beautiful spring-fed waters of Cypress Creek just downstream from Jacob's Well! As part of a 10 acre retreat, this property offers plenty of space for exploring, playing, swimming, and lounging. Eat breakfast on the screened-in porch, then lounge on floats and take a break from the heat in the cooling spring water. Read a book in the hammock of our common area while the kids play on the swings. Then grill out on the deck or down under the tall canopy of trees at our common area.

Perfect for family getaways or a jumping off point for Wimberley swimming holes, winery tours, and Wimberley market days, this two bedroom house has plenty of space for four adults or two adults/four kids with comfortable living and dining areas, a full kitchen, a very large screened-in porch, and a large outdoor deck.

If swimming is a priority, this is the place! We have a deep spring-fed swimming hole as well as a shallow area below the dam that is great for waders. The springs flowing from Jacob's Well are the origin of Cypress Creek and our property sits just a few hundred feet downstream.

This house sits with three others that we own and manage. Rented together, they are the perfect place for retreats with family and friends! Rented alone, this house offers plenty of privacy from the others.

Update 1/23/23
While our beloved Jacob's Well provides near continuous flow to Cypress Creek we are now susceptible to periods of decreased flow during prolonged dry spells. This can diminish water quality to the point where swimming is not recommended. Please know that we can not refund your stay based on creek conditions nor can we predict future conditions. Current drought status for Hays county can be found online and water quality information for our part of Cypress Creek can be found on the Jacob's Well website during the swimming season.

Great House

The house was located in a great place, just a few minutes from town. We loved getting up in the morning and sitting out overlooking the water. Deer and wild turkeys walked through the yard in the early morning hours. The kids were up early every morning to run down the hill and get in the freezing cold The house was furnished with most everything you need. If you plan on cooking you might want to bring your favorite skillet (minor issue).

One of a Kind

My family rented three of the four cabins and enjoyed our stay on the property. The location is one-of-a-kind and truly an experience we were happy to be able to share that together during our vacation. We will definitely be back!

Terrific as usual

This is the second time that we've rented this property and it was just as perfect for us this time in June as it was last October. The property is spacious, clean with 3 bathrooms and two showers and lots of space to spread out both inside and outside. And the creek is the cherry on top. Our kids loved it and spent almost every daylight hour in the water. There are plenty of floaty tubes and rafts and the kayak is there for additional paddle exploring. We love this place and the management is great to work with. We will continue to come back and stay here for years to come.
