Great get-away

We love spending time with our family in Las Vegas, and a large reason for that is this VRBO. Steve provides a lovely environment in which to relax and feel at home and comfortable. He has all of the bases covered for a great home-away experience and is there right away if you need anything.

If you like ants, dirty/non-working pool/spa for 13 of 30 day stay & non-equipped house- this is it!

Here are the cliff notes on our 30 day booking: -Told 2 min before check-in they needed 2 hours to clean. They offered refund for the first night due to the troubles, never refunded. -5 Towels in the entire house when we checked in. We asked about it and bath towels were dropped off. Had to buy our own pool towels. -No toilet paper (except what was on the rolls) -No hand soap, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, cleaning supplies -A vacuum and broom were dropped off when we asked. -Food crumbs, dried up fruit, dried up cheerios, toys, glass shard under the couches – all that was discovered as we were following ants. If we hadn’t had a 30 day stay, we would have absolutely left and went to a hotel. It left a stain on our family vacation. We have tried to resolve our issues privately with the property owner where he told us it’s our fault we didn’t tell him sooner and he did us a favor not charging for the spa being heated. He never told us about a charge when the spa was finally fixed – just asked what hours. He said he has ant repellant (that wouldn’t have fixed the problem anyway) and the dog poop was likely from a dog that got away (there is a gated fenced door – how would a dog stray into the backyard?) He hasn’t responded to our rebuttal from 4 days ago. And the lack of support from VRBO has been frustrating.

Las Vegas Winter Get-Away

This is the second time we have enjoyed this property in Las Vegas during the cold winter months back home. With family living less than 10 minutes away the location is wonderful for us. Ogbouma (Steve) has covered all of the bases to make his guests comfortable and his home a great place to relax and feel at home. He is always accessible if there is a reason to be in touch and takes care of any house matters promptly. We have enjoyed our relationship with him and the comfort of his home very much.

Excellent long term stay

We stayed in this property for a 5-week workation at the tail end of Covid. It is a spacious property with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The kitchen is big enough to prepare large group meals, and the outdoor BBQ/ethenol fire pit allow for outdoor dinner parties or hangout, especially combined with the hot tub. Everything was clean and in good condition. The neighborhood is nothing special but you're very close to the 15 and the 215, so it's easy to get downtown or to Red Rock. My only word of warning is that the mattresses are all on the side side/pillow top mattresses. Especially for the Master bedroom's king bed, we had to stay towards the outside and still had some mild back pain.

Great Family property- high tech and clean

The property was clean and exactly as pictured. The pool is nice and has a nice heater that can be controlled by an app. My kids loved the fountain. Lots of high tech touches. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and easy to access. Nice grill and covered ourdoor area; we had to grab a propane tank because it was out of propane, but that wasn't a problem. Master bed and bath were large. Three living areas that are seperate but not completely walled off, so you can spread out. Plenty of storage for temproary rental. Wi-Fi was suffecient for virtual working and schooling. We had a small issue with the landscaping and the owner sent out the landscapers to fix it right away. The owner was quick to reply to messages and texts. Owner did a good job managming our no contact request. We felt the property was safe and clean. Easy access to stores, restaurants, gasoline and Amazon locker. Fairly close to Strip without being too close. All of the major food and grocery delivery services serve the house.
