Nice location for Tahquamenon Falls

Worked out great for us. We are campers and with water turned off at the campground- this was perfect. Everything we needed was there. Walls are thin to the street, but at night very little traffic.

Close to Lake Superior, falls and museum

This place was comfortable and had everything we needed. The cabins are in between Lake Superior and a busy highway - close to both! Not much in the way of stores nearby. A bit noisy with traffic during the day but quiet at night. The Sunken Ship museum and the Tahquamenon Falls were wonderful places to visit!

Spectacular View

No surprises upon arrival, as the cabin and amenities were described perfectly on the website. The cabin was clean, it was stocked with everything we needed, and the view was wonderful! We hope to return.

Basic cabin &what we expected

Small single room cabin with a bathroom. Very basic accommodations but was as described and expected. We needed a place to sleep and clean up as we visited Whitefish Point, Paradise, and Vermilion Point, and it fit the need. We would stay here again for a similar purpose.

We stayed two nights in number four cabin because it allowed our mid sized dog, and had a nice outside area slightly separated from the other cabins which we particularly liked- it was the end cabin. The place was actually better then I expected. We liked the separate individual grill and picnic table under a covered car port. We had our own fire pit which was nice. The original cabin description lead me to believe that the fire pit was a shared type situation between all the cabins but it’s not. The inside of the cabin was pretty standard. The kitchenette had cups, pot and pans coffee maker, microwave etc.. pretty much stocked with what one might need to cook something. The two beds and bathroom were standard, I had no complaints there. The only thing I will bring up is that being so close to the water the cabin had a “wet” smell when we first arrived, but we opened the windows and that freshened the place up. Overall we were very pleased and will definitely book another stay next year.

Paradise Trip

Had a few “ blunders” in the beginning, but management and associates made any and all corrections, plus additional compensation for any inconveniences. Appreciated the cleanliness of the facility, free firewood for your own personal bonfire and nice, hot water for showering. Would totally stay there again when in Paradise! BTW, you’re right on top of Whitefish Bay!!! 👍👍

Upper peninsula short vacation

Very pleasantly surprised. Cabin stocked with everything except food. Dishes, pots and pans, small appliances in good working order. Linens very nice. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful view of Lake Superior. Amazing view of blue moon. Beautiful sunrise . Will stay again.

UP Vacation

We stayed in Paradise while visiting the shipwreck museum and the falls. Our cabin stay was very nice. It was easy to find, the cabin was clean and cosy, and we enjoyed our 2 nights there.

Freighter’s View

Easy check in with keypad. Private with beautiful views of the bay. Comfortable beds, hot shower with great water pressure. The area provided a lot of outdoor activities, such as off roading, hiking, Shipwreck Museum. The Vermilion Nature Preserve has a beautiful wide beach, great rock hunting there too. Close to town, made it easy to grab breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful view of the lake

Rustic one room cabin, very clean and tidy. It is right on the lake but no beach. We enjoyed the fire pit and the free firewood. Cooking ability is minimal but doable. We are a group of 60 somethings in good shape but people with a challenge may find it hard to maneuver. We would love to stay here again.

Little slice of UP heaven

Very peaceful and the view of the bay was amazing. Cabin was clean with new small appliances and stocked with the essentials. Staff was friendly and attentive when on site. They provide a fire pit, firewood, and a gas grill. There isn’t a “beach” but you can definitely go swimming from the rocky shore (and the water is much warmer than Lake Superior). Great experience, we will definitely visit again.

Close to a lot, especially the lake

First off this is not a fancy place. With that in mind it was clean comfortable and fully met all our needs. It was wonderful they had a stack of firewood ready for our first nights stay for the firepit. It's close to so much we filled three days up of activities. Bathroom was small and basic but met all our needs. It was nice to be able to sit outside by the fire and at the picnic table and watch the ships go by on the horizon. Overall we were very satisfied and would stay here again.

Yooperlite success

Great place! Super clean! Owner quick to respond and help! Besides mosquitoes trip was great. This place was our central spot because close to Whitefish Point and Vermillion beach which are good for Yooperlite rocks which we found 55 of them! Make sure you have high intensity UV lights. Then only 1-2 hours away to all the waterfalls. Great trip and great stay!
