El Itz Inn ofrece a sus huéspedes una ubicación sin precedentes en el corazón de la calle principal, adyacente a Hondo's (llamado así por el famoso Hondo Crouch), uno de los restaurantes más populares de Fredericksburg. Cute place great location!

We loved our stay! This place is cute and quaint but has plenty of room to relax. Love the courtyard right outside the door, too. The location was perfect for us as we went to attend a concert at Hondo's (which is literally across the driveway). Would definitely stay here again!

We loved sitting in the back courtyard listening to the music from Hondos. The room was large and clean. The bed, however, was not comfortable. There were springs piercing our backs.

We loved the location and the atmosphere in the room. Check in and checkout were easy and smooth. Our only challenges were that there was no instructions for WiFi access and there was no extra bedding for the sofa sleeper. Would recommend keeping enough extra pillows and blankets for both beds as we tend to get cold at night. Otherwise a great stay!

Great stay!

This was the perfect place to stay for our trip! The location was wonderful and the cottage was clean. The bed was comfortable and cozy. We also loved being walking distance from downtown. Definitely recommend staying here! One thing to be aware of is the walls were thin, so we could hear our neighbors. Wasn’t a bother, just something to note.

The good.. easy checkin, nice courtyard, walking distance to shopping, awesome ac. The bad walls are so thin you can clearly hear other guest above you having “private” time. The bar next doors music is super loud inside the room. And someone damaged our car door trying to break in it. There are no closets so you can not hang up your clothes, no ice maker and fridge is too small to put ice in it, could not hook up to WiFi and the tv is not user friendly. We were stuck with forensic files lol. It would have also been nice if the coffee pot was updated to a kuerig. It's not bad but I do not believe we would stay again.

This is our 2nd time stay. We were upstairs back porch first. This time back porch down. We enjoy the location and the music from Hondo is nice. Ok the negatives are the bed. Very uncomfortable. The parking is nice but the people going to the wine bar next door think they park We lost our spot a couple times 😏 inconvenient for my partial handicap

Courtyard (Downstairs unit)

We have stayed here before but in the upstairs unit. This time we stayed in the downstairs unit. If there is someone upstairs you hear everything. While over all cleanliness was good, the coach does have stains. The mattress needs to be replaced. Finally, there appears to be a small hole in the floor near the bathroom door. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance, but not a lot of shopping if that's your thing. Not bad a place for the money.

Could use some updated decor. Fake flowers are not appealing. Need a trash can in the water closet. No pillow cases or a blanket for the pull out sofa. Almost tripped in the hole under the floor rug covering the floor electrical sockets. We had to shove some paper towels under the rug to help fill in the hole. Cracks under all exterior doors. One door led to another room and we could hear them talking, so we know they could hear us. Outdoor furniture needs cleaning, wiping off. Curtains need to be washed, they are stained. Loved the location. Restaurant and music venue next door. Music ends at 11pm on weekends. Could have an excellent rating and I would stay again if some of those above mentioned details were addressed. Thank you.

Excellent Fredericksburg Experience

We enjoyed this place a lot. Cute little place, nice and clean, bed was great and also great parking. Especially LOVED the outdoor area to relax after walking around all day and enjoy some wine and listen to live music from right next door at Hondo's, in our PJ's! It was the perfect spot. Fantastic Location and Cutest Lodge

The location can't be beat and the lodge is adorable. There is also a little winery connected to the lodge that has great sangria and a outdoor fire for the colder days. We definitely want to come back and book another stay.

Great location and beautiful suite

We enjoyed staying at the Itz, however the last night was terrible. Our upstairs neighbors, two young ladies, were having a party or something at 2 am in the morning. They kept stomping the floor. Needless to say it was not pleasant. Also, the entrance to our suite faces the patio, all was littered with leaves. It would have been nice if someone took a blower and cleaned the area up. The parking was good at times, but sometimes we had no parking. It would be great if each suite had one designated parking space. It is very difficult for older people to carry their suitcases god knows how far if parking in the back is unavailable. Most of the time we could not find a parking place on the street near the Itz. That would be another option to designate the front for guests. Other than that, we loved it there. Please be sure to let guests know to keep the curtains closed at all times if they don’t want people to see them .
