Snowflower #58: Ski-in/Ski-Out Cozy Studio Condo: Ideal location!

This is a gorgeous (renovated Fall 2017), largely custom, cozy studio condo with a queen size murphy bed that lowers from the wall and a CHILD-SIZE (5' 6" long, suitable for children no taller than roughly 4’6”) bunk bed featuring individual lighting and USB ports. The small condo boasts comfortable luxury with high-end details and feels spacious considering its cozy square footage.

The number of guests is suggested at two adults, with the maximum being four persons (to provide for two additional children utilizing the child-sized bunk beds).

The living room includes an HD 4K 55" flat screen TV, 4K DVD/Blu-Ray player, custom fireplace, and a reclining sofa and reclining chair. There is a complete kitchen with custom, high-end cabinetry, custom quartzite countertops, and full-size, stainless-steel appliances (including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher). There is a custom peninsula with quartzite countertop that comfortably seats four for dining or gathering. There is a humidifier to balance the dry mountain air of the Rockies. The bathroom has a stand-alone shower with a rainfall shower head and a separate, full-size air jet jacuzzi.

Located on the second floor of Snowflower Building 2 (the most desirable building) you are steps from the Park City ski mountain and three ski lifts. Once you arrive, elevators will take you from the private underground parking to your condo. Once you get settled, jump on your skis or snowboard and hit the slopes, unwind at the fitness center, soak in the outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, stock up the condo at the grocery store (about a 10 minute walk away), head to the Park City Mountain resort to check out ski schools or head to Park City to shop or dine. Getting around in Park City by car or the free bus system is really easy.

Super welcoming host! They were incredibly responsive and accommodating for some changes in our arrival schedule. It's an excellent use of compact space, everyone in my family was able to sleep comfortably and have enough space for their needs when they were awake. Amazing location, right on the edge of the slopes. Super convenient Locker to house the skis outside of the room. The bulky stools around the kitchen counter were a little bit difficult to maneuver around and we're falling apart, maybe they will swap those out for later newer options in the future? My kids also loved being able to see the hot tub and pool from the balcony. Overall a wonderful stay in a very nice condo.

Great rental, at 3 lifts

Really great stay here. It's cozy with a murphy bed, but plenty of room for 2 of us. Best part (and most important for us) is that it's at the base of the mountain by First Time, 3 Kings and Eagle Lifts. Ski in/out to the locker room in the condo complex. Thanks for a great ski trip!

Love the ease of staying at Snowflower literally can ski right up to the locker rooms. Love it. Pillows, mattress, and bathroom amenities can be improved upon but other than that it was great. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking our breakfast every morning.

Snow Flower is the perfect location for ski in/ski out. We won't stay anywhere else. The convenience is unparalleled. This little unit is great for two people and two small kids (due to the tiny kid size bunks) The kitchen was well appointed and had the much needed crockpot. The only "con" is this unit is on the 2nd floor and the unit above has a metal spiral staircase. It was non stop foot loud foot traffic above, day and night we endured hours of a metal banging noise from people going up/down the metal staircase above. We dealt with it but it was a little maddening after a few days of it, especially early in the morning and late at night.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! I don't think there is a rental in Park City that is closer to the slopes. It is no exaggeration when people say you can ski right to the door. The hot tub and locker room are great amenities. This unit also has the perfect reclining couch for lounging after a long day of skiing. That being said, this place is small. I mean VERY small. The murphy bed barely squeaks by the barstools, and storage is very limited. I felt like my wife and I were always in each others' way. It wouldn't hurt for the owners to splurge on a new mattress as well. I would stay at this unit again, but it was a little tight for a 5 night trip.

Comfort and Truly Ski-in/Ski-out

The studio was very clean and comfortable, including the Murphy bed. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc.... The sofa was comfortable, too, and I could easily figure out the TV. The kitchen was oddly missing a drying rack, however. The other missing item that I missed was a bathmat. It did take some fiddling around to regulate the temperature in the unit. Some of the preliminary material sent by the property manager was out-of-date: the fireplace does not have blower switch; Blockbuster is, uh, no more. The building truly shines with its proximity to the slopes. Out the back door of the locker room and up a few steps and you are right there. The hot tub is fabulous, too, after a day of skiing. The parking is easy and plentiful. The building seems very well maintained.

Best location in PCMR!

If you're a skier, you can't be this location. We've been skiing PCMR for 30 years and this is the best spot we've ever had. Step outside of ski locker, up a few steps, and you're at the Eagle lift (or First Time/Three Kings if you're a beginner). The resort village is a short walk up the bunny slope. There's a convenient bus stop around the corner - about a 5 minute walk - and the PC transportation is great. Be sure to get the app so that you can see the bus that you're waiting for. The condo itself is relatively small, but fine for a couple. The kitchen includes a toaster and coffee machine, which are all that we used. I was a bit concerned about the mattress, but we slept fine. The only negative was the lack of noise insulation from upstairs. We could hear every step taken and i think the upstairs unit has metal stairs inside because we could hear metallic clanging with the steps. We travel with earplugs, so our sleep was never disturbed and things get quieter in the evening. We were only in the condo mornings and evenings, so it wasn't a major issue, but something to be aware of. In the end, the location and ease of access to the lifts was fantastic and overrode any minor issues.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was a little too small for us, but we made it work!! We were grateful to be in a nice, safe place. I would recommend some plastic plates/bowls/cups for small children. The Murphy bed was quite comfy and easy to put up and down. Operating the thermostat/fireplace was quite confusing, not as described in the notes I received, but I figured it out. There were plenty of towels, which was awesome! The laundry is nearby, but requires quarters only. If there was a wait, I just went upstairs to the other room. No complaints from us, simply ideas to pass on to others. Thank you again for allowing us in your beautiful condo!!!

My family of 4 recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience! We have two teens, so it was a bit tight but fit our needs perfectly. Just take the elevator down one floor to the ski locker room and then right out on to the snow at "first time lift". I can't imagine a more convenient situation. The condo itself is just as the picture show and has been renovated beautifully. The owner Brittany is hands down the best property manager I have ever witnessed. Brittany sent loads of information and would respond immediately offering guidance. We would highly recommend this property and owner!

8-day ski trip

We are skiers. We have about 100 years of combined skiing experience between the two of us We have stayed in many, many ski condos. This is clearly one of the best places for two skiers to stay. The condo is cozy, but there is a place for everything. It was designed with the skier or boarder in mind. You walk straight from the condo to the elevator, straight from the elevator to the heated locker room and straight from the locker room just a few steps to an area with three lifts that give you access to anywhere you want to go. The condo has good lighting (not common) and lots of storage. The parking is easy and fits an SUV with a Thule on top, and the laundry room is on the same floor. Very, very nice!

As Floridians, we have skied all over the world but found ourselves coming back to Park City over and over again because we love everything about Park City Mountain Resort; especially as our family began to grow.

Why they chose this property

For 30 years we have visited Park City Mountain Resort and have stayed in just about everywhere possible. Some places were better than others but none could compare with the true ski-in and ski-out convenience and affordability of Snowflower. This place is right on the does not get any better!! Because of the convenience, amenities and affordability, ten years ago we took the plunge and bought our first condo at Snowflower (VRBO 149304). Next we bought our second condo at Snowflower (VRBO 258160). Our love for the place has never faded and recently we purchased and renovated this, our third condo at Snowflower. As our family has grown, we have found that the Park City Mountain Resort has something for everyone of all ages. Snowflower's central location directly on the slopes is ideally situated within easy access to everything Park City, Deer Valley and the Canyons have to offer.

What makes this property unique

We love the that when we walk out the condo building door and, literally, we are on the slopes of the ski resort and can ski down a few feet to any of three most popular lifts on the Park City Mountain resort. Later, whenever we want, we can ski to the condo door, store our skis/snowboards in our heated locker and take the elevator to the condo where an inviting fireplace, a quiet cozy condo or a swim in the outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi await. We love the views from all the rooms of the peaceful pine and aspen mountains, the large spacious balcony and to keep an eye on everyone in the pool/jacuzzi. We love the cozy wood burning fireplace and the flat screen TV in the living room. We also love the Blue Ray DVD player and the DVR so we don't miss the games or shows while we are skiing or apres ski.

We love to be able to take the elevator to the first floor and work-out in the fitness room or stretch out the muscles before taking to the slopes. Its also great to know that the as parents we can take as breaks from skiing we want, the kids can come and go as they please without worrying about where everyone is on the mountain and we eat a lot healthier and cheaper than the food on the slopes.

We love the spectacular view as you soak in the heated outdoor pool or steaming jacuzzi and stare into the starlit sky amidst snowflakes that freshly cover the powder mountains of the West. We love that there is free underground parking in our building.

We also love the free bus service that stops just outside the condo door and takes us everywhere we want in Park City, the Canyons and Deer Valley. Most of all, we take great care that our guests have the best possible vacation experience!
