Loved the heated pool and tiki hut!

The house, pool & tiki hut were perfect for relaxing. The location was great, close to Sombrero Beach, stores & restaurants. Meredith our host was very helpful & accommodating. We would definitely rent this property again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Dockside Retreat! The house was beautiful and had everything you could think of to make our stay relaxing and easy! Any supplies you might need/want are there. Pool floaties, fishing poles, a cooler, paddle boards, kayaks, bicycles … everything you need for a perfect trip! Also, I cannot say enough about Meredith, the listing agent. She was absolutely wonderful! Great stay!

Fantastic Time!

This is the second time we have rented Dockside Retreat. Both times my relatives rented the house that adjoins it. We all love this place, and the house has everything you could possibly need. We did it all while we were there, boating, swimming, beach, sunsets, trip to Key West to name a few. All around a great place!

Relaxing Spot close to everything

Fantastic property, located close to the beach, shopping, and other attractions. The house was clean and well-supplied with thoughtful items for a great vacation (beach chairs, pool toys, bait freezer, filet table, kayaks, bikes, paddle boards, etc. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend for a family getaway. Pinnaple property management communicated well and resolved a few very minor issues right away. Cons: couch and rug are getting tired and need to be replaced soon, a few loose chairs at the kitchen table.

This house was perfect for my family of 7. So much to do, clean and spacious, great location. The outside pool area is fantastic. So many amenities. Everything is up to date and modern. Basic essentials are provided, dish soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Smelled clean, no dirty areas. Perfect.

Fantastic rental

This house has everything you need. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms are well stocked. The location is convenient to Islamorada and Key West. We rented a boat and had plenty of room on the dock. Thanks for a wonderful vacation

We loved everything about our stay. We have never been to a vacation rental that is so well appointed. Everything you need or want for a great time in the Keys they had! The bikes were so great, we used them every day! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Excellent location/Fabulous Home

We stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it! The location is perfect - near shopping, restaurants, attractions and a beach at the end of the street. It was well appointed and very clean. The private pool and tiki hut were the icing on the cake. Meredith was easy to communicate with and very timely responses. I would highly recommend this home and may go back soon!

Central Florida Keys Vacation Hub

The property was awesome and very well appointed. We had everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation. Having Publix on the same side of the main Route 1 made all catering logistics a breeze. Marathon had many options to eat, play and explore the keys going North or South with ease. Having a heated pool was great and comfortable early till late.

Perfect week away with the family

This place was the perfect get away for our family. It's close to Sombrero beach but yet close to town. The pool and tiki area were great and having a grill down there made it the perfect hang out. The house was stocked with everything you need and then some. Our family enjoyed having the bikes, paddleboards and kayaks and exploring the island that way as well. If we make it down to Marathon again, we would rebook this property.

Winter break

We had a wonderful time! Property was perfect for our group. Dock and pool were just right and so fun for boating and fishing! Kitchen was good for cooking. Could use some condiments and basics- salt and pepper, olive oil, garlic. But plenty of pots/dishes. Beds and baths were great. Location was ideal! Manager was very responsive.

Thank you so much for the great review! We prefer not to stock "food" items because people prefer their own and not something someone else may have used. Unlike most properties, we do stock all the supplies you need for the week (not just one or two): toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, bleach, stain spray, hand soap, dish soap, dish washing detergent, basic cleaners, bathroom shower soap and tons of quality towels and beach/pool towels - plus all the other amenties (kayaks, bikes, paddleboards and much more) so you don't have to rent anything. Great vacation!

We were pleasantly surprised that it was as nice as it looked online. We had 8 adults and were all very comfortable. The pool and tiki hut were awesome as well as the bikes and kayaks. It was just a short walk to beautiful sombrero beach. It was nice to not worry about bringing beach towels and pool toys. We took the kayaks out and caught mangrove snapper, grunts, & catfish right in the canal. It was a great vacation property and we hope to rent it again!

This place is awesome! And so Well Equipped!

Loved this place! Came down for a holiday getaway with the family and was perfect for all of us. Unit was well equipped with kayaks, bicycles and all of the water toys for us to not to have to bring a lot of extra with us (perfect for flying in as we did) and since we rented a boat for the week, it made it easy to go out fishing and diving but just jumping on a going. Also, Kitchen had everything we needed, and the heated pool was perfect for the granddaughter! Merideth and the Pineapple Properties team were a pleasure to deal with as well. Overall, couldn't have asked for more!

Great stay

We had an awesome time staying at this house. There were 10 of us and we all had plenty of room. Meredith was absolutely wonderful to deal with and responded to us right away with everything. We spent so much time in the pool and fishing off of the dock. We even had a manatee come right up to us. The kayaks and paddle boards were great to have as well. The house is in a great location, close to everything. When we were there, the Sombrero Beach wasn’t great, but we had the pool anyway. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Meredith is a fifth-generation native Floridian, Meredith's first visit to the Florida Keys was 35 years ago when she was 18 years old. She went sport fishing with the legendary Captain Skip Bradeen in Islamorada, explored the islands from Key Largo to Key West, and was hooked! Meredith, her husband Barry, a realtor, and their children enjoyed vacationing in the keys for many years and after raising their family in Winter Park, Florida, Barry and Meredith moved here full time! She loves helping guests with personal recommendations of all her favorite spots to help make their vacation better than they ever imagined!
