This one story brick ranch located in Masonboro about 5 minutes from the Intracoastal Waterway! Just 10 minutes to Carolina Beach and about 20 minutes to Wrightsville Beach, Casa Blue is perfect spot for boating and beaching and family relaxation. There is a public access boat ramp about 10 minutes away at Trails end and another on the north end of Pleasure Island. Park your boat in the large driveway or back it into the boat shed in the backyard if you prefer!

With three bedrooms (one queen, one full, and two twin beds - sleeps six) and two Jack-n-Jill bathrooms with adjoining walk in shower, there will be plenty of room for all. A large open living and dining area, an ample kitchen and a screened in back porch make it easy to mingle with the group. There's also an outside shower for after beach wash offs and the home is conveniently located within walking distance of Monkey Junction shopping, dining and entertainment!

Pets welcome with pet fee. Linens and towels provided. WiFi and flat screen tv in living room.

This house was ideally located to access old town, the various beaches, chartered fishing, and bird watching locations! 5 members of my family stayed and everyone was very comfortable. Pro tip - the kitchen light switch is hidden behind the refrigerator! I would highly recommend this place.

Great location but disappointing

This house is in a great location. It’s close to everything and is in an older neighborhood but I’d say pretty safe and quaint. I think the renters before us had dogs because the house smelled like dog when we walked in. Luckily once we turned the air down the smell kinda went away with the humidity. We found a water bug in the house on our first day and on our second day. I told myself that it’s a water bug and it happens but then I saw a can of roach killer on the screened in back porch. When I went out to put the umbrella down before the tropical storm rolled in, there was another water bug right by the screened in door that had a screen ripped down. I dont know if the floors were mopped before we came because the bottoms of our feet were black the whole time. Outside the cleanliness, the house was okay. More personal preference from there. There’s no tub, just a fantastic shower. However my 3 year old didn’t appreciate the greatness of the shower and only does tubs. The washer and dryer are in one of the powder rooms. The couch in the living room wasn’t really comfortable for more than one person to lounge on. The rug in the living room was really nice to lounge on if you take away the water bug situation. The rooms functioned pretty well. The beds weren’t the most comfortable. But plenty of pillows and I liked the comforters in all the rooms. They were fairly spacious. The kitchen had everything you’d need. The bathrooms worked fine too. The host had shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the shower. I agree with one of the reviews about the cosmetics. There’s a few repairs that need to be done. Holes in the walls, some small fixtures pulled away from the wall or ceiling. But it has so many upgrades too! It’s really a back and forth. Overall, The house was a fine and did the job. Unfortunately finding a water bug the first few days really made me paranoid the rest of the trip. Checking ceilings, floors and corners. My daughter thought every little thing on the floor was a “scary bug”. I wouldn’t stay there again but if you needed a basic place to stay, it does the job. GREAT LOCATION.

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 5 had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at Casa Blue. We stayed for two weeks, so we appreciated having extra towels, pillows, two dressers and coat hangers so we could really settle in and not have to live out of suitcases. Our dog and kids loved the sun room and fenced-in backyard, which even had a fire pit and a ping pong table! Our kids were doing online school on Zoom and my husband was working remotely, and the fast WiFi could handle everyone being online at once. The shower is beautiful and has great water pressure, and is in between two “powder rooms”, each with a sink and toilet. All the appliances worked great, as did the air conditioner. The house is in a quiet neighborhood (except for a barking dog next door) in a residential area, about 15 minutes from Carolina Beach and 20 minutes from historic Wilmington or Wrightsville Beach.

Great little Gem!

For being the first time renters, we came into a home that was very well setup and appointed with everything we needed. Comfortable, Fast WiFi and a nice mix for both inside or outside relaxing or entertaining settings. The boat covered area in the back is nice addition and the close proximity to Tidal Creek Launch for boat/kayaks/Sup is fantastic! Not to mention you’re 15-20 mins from either Carolina or Wrightsville Beach, so we got to try out both...each of which have there own special unique touches. And being down in what is considered the “Monkey Junction Area” this neighborhood extremely close to every type of store you could possibly need, all within a quick 5 min drive. Last but not least, it is a quiet neighborhood that has a bunch if connecting small roads off the main road that is perfect to get out for a walk/run. We loved it and will return!!
