Piper Cottage -- 100 Steps to Beach -- Private Deck and Garden Area

Piper cottage is just four houses and 100 steps from the beach in the heart of Dewey!

Light and bright with coastal decor. Hardwood floors, carpet, newer kitchen and bath. Large private deck with nice patio furniture and barbecue grill.

Two bedrooms, one queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Off street parking for one car in shared driveway. This cottage is situated on a lot with two other cottages and is tucked away from the street with a small private garden area.

You can walk to everything in town... restaurants, coffee shop at end of street, bars, town park, shopping, entertainment, or take the local open air 'Jolly Trolly' at the end of your street on a three minute ride to the Rehoboth Boardwalk.

WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY June-Sept 1. During the summer months there are no weekend rentals. For weekend rentals in off season, contact us.

Tenants bring sheets, towels, and paper products. Full payment at booking is taken by VRBO, but we can split payments if you contact us before booking.

Great stay!

Had a great time at this cottage for our quick beach trip. Beach is literally steps away and lots food options nearby. We were able to cook our breakfasts and lunch in the kitchen with ample pots, pans, dishes, utensils and glassware.

Cozy by the Sea

Piper Cottage is great! It is in a perfect location so close to the beach. We spent most of our time at the beach, and it was very easy to walk back to the house for lunch or a break. It's very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach getaway

Long weekend getaway

This is the second time that we (and our golden retriever) have stayed here. The cottage is close to the beach, well stocked and well maintained. Dave is nice to work with and easy to reach if needed. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Great little cottage! Description was spot on and location was was great. The only add part- which wasn’t a problem for us was the shared driveway.. you never know who you get in the 2 other properties that share the space- they were a little less flexible. 10/10 would rent again.

Quick trip to beach

The owner Dave was very communicative, checking in with us to see if things were okay. The house is steps from the beach which is exactly what we wanted. Everything was clean and plenty of items in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time.

I had a very nice stay for Memorial Day with my family and our dog. This was the perfect location, just a few minutes from the beach. We were able to let our dog run on the beach every morning and every evening. The parking is tandem style, so you need to coordinate with the person in the unit next-door, but it worked out fine since we both stayed put most of the time. If easy access to the beach and restaurants are your main priority, and living room and kitchen size are not too important, this is the place to stay.

Paradise by the sea

Dave was an amazing host. He checked in with me when I first arrived and midway through the week just to make sure I had everything I needed. His home is so charming and literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house is fully equipped and convenient to everything Dewey has to offer. BTW, you can take your dog onto the beach before 930am and after 530pm during season. George & I definitely will be returning next year

The apartment was exactly as described in the listing. Dave was very pleasant to work with. We ended up not bringing our dog with us and Dave immediately said he would refund the pet deposit.

Very Small, Close to Beach

My husband and I took our dogs for a few days to Dewey Beach. We stayed 2 nights. The cottage is okay but very small, the pictures on the website make it look much more charming than it actually is. The furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable, so you could not just sit and relax and watch TV. The best part was it was a very short work to the beach and they allow dogs. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive to email and phone calls. I would recommend this place if you need a place to stay for a few days with your dog and there are only two adults.

We're just 100 steps from the beach access so it's easy to come back throughout the day for a snack, nap or whatever. Piper cottage has some privacy since it sits back from the street a bit, but is still very close to all the fun in Dewey.
