Just to clarify - Location: the distance from the nearest beach is incorrectly shown on the listing as 12 minutes. El Mirador is on the outer edge of the development closest to the village and it is about 5 minutes walk to San Gines beach and the same to the Spar shop; the marina is a 20 minute brisk walk, a little longer if taking your time.

Included in the price at a glance - arrival/departure clean, all linen including beach towels, 24/7 WIFI, Smart TV (media box), services, cot/highchair, guest bed, travel guide.

El Mirador is superbly placed on the most southerly corner of this lovely development with sweeping open views to the sea. The 3 bedroom property offers every convenience for a self-catering holiday to ensure you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. The location is simply stunning and it has been considered already by both guests and owners that this is the best plot on the entire development. The flexible accommodation is luxuriously appointed, beautifully furnished and generously equipped creating a feeling of warmth and comfort - a 'home from home' but in a Mediterranean setting. This end property is completely unattached on three and a half sides giving it the feel of a house and the three huge terraces on which to spread (120 sq m), easy access and private parking immediately outside ensure that every kind of party is catered for - from mature couples to families, from those with babies and toddlers to those with grandparents.

El Pinar de San Gines, known as 'The Pines', is a much sought after development in the beautiful traditional and unspoiled fishing village of La Azohia, tucked beneath mountains, and fronted by lovely villas in a quiet location away from any busy roads and yet just a short stroll from the sea. The properties are mainly in just two tiers joined only on corners, with one below and one above, in a convenient apartment-style layout. With beautiful mature gardens and paths winding in and out, the community has the feel of a Spanish village within a village and several people have made it their permanent home. There is a shared pool for use by residents which is in a secluded location with mountain views, lovely plants around and seating. The Pines has become highly regarded perhaps equally for its truly stunning location, the quality of the properties and the safe environment it offers families with children. La Azohia is famous for its magnificent sun sets and the development was built in the perfect position in order to appreciate them to the full - sufficiently elevated but with no steep slopes to negotiate as you wander down to the seafront.

A quiet winter hideaway !
Our winter break was a very reasonably priced affair . When booked early the Easy-Jet tickets only came to 109 pounds for the two of us. Flights from the UK into Murcia (a very quite clean airport ) where we picked up a hire car for the drive to La Azohia. On arrivel at El Mirador we found the position of the apartment lent itself to some great views and wonderful sunsets, The apartment is very well furnished and contains all the items that one would need to enjoy your stay there. Mazarron we found to be a good choice for shops and eating out. THE END !

Returned from the apartment a week ago, fantastic views and lived up to everything in the description. La Azohia a lovely sleepy village in October with good restaurants in Isla Plana a short drive away. One of the least spoilt parts of the Spanish coast that we have visited with good walks, great beaches (clean and safe). Would definitely come again. Apartment clean, very well equipped and just about everything provided.

We had an excellent stay in this well-equipped apartment with family. A short walk from the beach, clean pools on-site and generally a stunning area of Spain. Highly recommended.
