The unit was clean but sparse amenities inside. insufficient towels, lack of basic cook ware and utensils made it almost impossible to cook a basic meal. Painted outdoor furniture was peeling and attached to clothing.

This property is exactly as the photos. It’s a beautiful location overlooking the water and the pool. The place is clean and fresh and the a/c is cold. Very nice. Highly recommend.

Great location. Responsive staff. Beautiful sunrise views!

We love Placencia. I wish the condos were better taken care of. Not enough light in the kitchen to cook. Bed was very comfortable. However, zero water pressure in the shower. We ended up bringing a pot in with us so we could rince off.

Great location

The location was quiet, and the pool was very nice. We were a little disappointed by the lack of certain items in the condo which included basics like salt and pepper and a frying pan. Also safety issues such as hot pads for the pan has metal handles we were there for two weeks and asked for fresh sheets and did not receive those. Also our TV remote was not working so they came and fix that and saw that the batteries were no good, but never chose to replace them in. The condos were neat and clean and the staff for the pool came every day the toilet was barely flushing, but I understand that is quite common there , but when you have water coming up as you’re sitting on the potty, it’s quite icky. The fold out couch which we tend to use quite a bit was so noisy and creaky. Also, there was a huge cabinet in front of the sliding door, which was very inconvenient and should be moved , the slider to our bedroom also did not open the refrigerator barely made ice. We would definitely make a different choice if we come back to Belize.

Poor value for this condo

While the beach and location were great this unit was a big disappointment. First, the overall condition appeared worn and neglected (eg, caulk and paint needed; fixtures were old). Second, the basic things one expects—especially for an expensive nightly rate—were unacceptable. These included a toilet that didn’t flush, weak shower water pressure, a door lock that was tricky and required maintenance help, a safe that didn’t work, uncomfortable furniture, and a TV that was difficult to set up. Regarding the TV, there were 3 remotes and no instructions (instructions in the rental agreement did not work). There was no binder with information to help guests. All of this led to frustration and disappointment. I truly believe I received poor value from this stay and deserve compensation.

The grounds and condo were clean. Large condo but dated. Bed was comfortable The door needs to be replaced as it was very hard to unlock or lock or even roll Otherwise it was a nice place. Would recommend staying there

A week at the beach

Our stay at Beachside Villa’s was more than we expected. The accessibility to the pool and beach was first rate. The suite was spacious, well appointed, and tidy. The deck afforded great views and was perfect for early morning coffee before the sun got high and made the pool area a better option.
