5 stars all the way. We loved the beach. We went swimming and sat in the hottub. We loved watching the waves. The condo was clean and cozy. I can't wait to go back. 5 stars thank you it was the best little condo on the beach.

Please view over 100 reviews from the past 8 years averaging 9.8 of 10. My rates have been discounted by 40% at Daytona Beach Resort during the past year to compensate for ongoing renovations necessary due to hurricane damage. This guest was given a full disclosure of the inconveniences, and discounts, prior to booking and confirmed her desire to complete the reservation. Most of those repairs have now been completed.

The room was clean and beautifully set up. we were set with extra towels and blankets and kitchen utensils I didn't think I would need them until I got there. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and our balcony was also nicely set up for multiple guests. My host gave me thorough instructions from start to end on my stay and was helpful with any questions and concerns I had and responded in a timely manner every time.

Full disclosure, although the Resort is in somewhat disrepair, William Mitchell's excellent pre-payment email was very clear about what was and wasn't working On the RESORT property. The room was exactly as pictured, my kids took the beds and my girlfriend and I shared the pullout, which was hands down the comfiest sofabed either of us have ever been on, by miles! See photo if allowed, I'll post a picture from my balcony. As long as your expectations are in the right place (ie, this is a full blue-collar establishment) don't expect bells and whistles, but the pool is nice, the beach is close, and the water is lovely!

First, thank you for the 5 star review. I would like to offer an explanation of the "disrepair". There was considerable hurricane damage at the complex and many of the amenities were damaged and being repaired. As of July 2026 the main outdoor pool, the indoor pool, the Jacuzzis, the sauna, and the fitness room are all fully operational. As far as "not to expect bells and whistles" . . . . to the best of my knowledge there are no other vacation rental complexes in Daytona Beach that offer all of these amenities.

Bill was an outstanding host. We booked our reservations at a 40% discount due to the pools, hot tubs and amenities being closed. We were pleasantly surprised when the discounts were honored even though the main pool, hot tub, fitness room and sauna were re-opened prior to our stay. We have stayed at Daytona Beach Resort several times and this unit is, by far, the nicest of any.

Loved the location on the beach. Bill was a great host and very responsive to emails. There are so many great restaurants to choose from as well as activities. The property was very clean and stocked with many essentials. Had a great beach vibe to the decor. We would definitely book this location in the future if we had a need!

Williams place was exactly like the picture showed. There was an issue and William personally called to apologize which was amazing! We loved the view from our room, even got to see whales from our room Christmas morning! The indoor pool was not heated but we were there for the beach anyways! We will be back! It was so close to the tidepools that we went every day!

Great View

My sister and I stayed for three nights while visiting family in the area. The space was clean, comfortable, and had a great view with spectacular sun rises each morning. I definitely enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.
