スニード島はマナティー川とタンパ湾に囲まれ、小さな橋でパルメット市に接続されています。 川やタンパ湾とメキシコ湾のスズキ、フエダイ、スヌーク、ハタの魚。

この愛らしいスニード島のコテージは、タンパ湾の開口部にある2エーカーの雄大なオーク、オレンジの木、ココヤシの木に囲まれています。 前庭には美しい南Oakの木があります。 非常に清潔で快適なベッドルーム、リビングルーム、ダイニングルーム、フルキッチン、付属のランドリールーム、スクリーン付きの囲まれたベランダを備えた新しい家具。 バスルームにはウォークインシャワーがあり、後ろの入り口は車椅子でアクセスできます。 シェルドライブをバックドアから250フィート下の100フィートのドックに降りて、ラウンジでくつろぎ、イルカを観察し、マナティー川に沈む夕日をお楽しみください。 35フィートのボートスリップも少額の追加料金で利用でき、水と電気が提供されます。 ドックのすぐ右側には、小さなマングローブの木の下で泳いだり、カヤックをしたり、ラウンジチェアでリラックスしたりできる小さな白い砂浜があります。

ショッピング、食料品店、モール、ウォーターフロントレストランの外の世界はすべて車で15分以内です。

美しい365エーカーのエマーソンポイントプリザーブビーチパークは、島で歩いたり自転車に乗ったりできる距離にあります。 バイクトレイル、自然＆バードトレイル、カヌー＆カヤックの打ち上げ、水泳、釣り、ピクニックテーブル、バーベキュー、トイレ、タワークライミング用の白い砂浜があり、スカイウェイブリッジとメキシコ湾の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。 ひもにつながれたペットは、公園やビーチで泳いでいただけます。 くつろいで、時間を遡ったような気分になります。

We had the best time at Bev and Len’s piece of paradise! The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we needed, it was perfect for us and our dog. Fishing and watching sunsets on the dock were great and the tiki is beautiful. We loved visiting with Len and Bev every day, we felt so welcomed, we will definitely be back!!
The tiki got a new roof while we were there, so interesting to watch it go on.
The dock has chairs, couches, table, fish cleaning table, live bait well, literally everything!
Finally caught that snook! He’s waiting for the next guest to catch. Hint - use a live pin fish.
We all loved the view from the dock.

It was a wonderful location. We spend hours fishing on the dock and relaxing. It was a very comfortable and cosy home. I would recommend and would stay again.

We were looking for a low-key, centrally located property,, that we could bring our two rather large dogs, both about 80lbs. This property fit the bill perfectly. We had a relaxing stay and were able take the dogs for multiple walks at Emerson Point and enjoy the local area for small day trips.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Close to everything. We wished the dock wasn’t blocked by big boats so fishing would have been better. Host was very responsive.

Great cottage

We loved the cottage, especially the beach and dock. My 2 little dogs got to go play on the beach area and we saw crabs, dolphins and a stingray! It was a wonderful vacation. We loved talking with Len! Thanks a lot!!

A little slice of heavan

The cottage layout was the perfect match for us. The cottage is a bit older and is showing its age. There are some cracked tiles and settling cracks in the walls but none of that is a deal breaker. The layout is perfect for a family of four. My kids shared the one bedroom with the two beds, it was perfect. Kitchen is nicely appointed with plently of pots,pans,dishes,silerware ect. Plenty of towels and such. The outside is the real treasure. We fished everday over our 7 days and caught 13 different species of fish, a fishemans dream! The tiki bar area is so cool and dock sitting area was perfect for dolphin watching. We kayaked with the supplied equipment and got some lovely views of the surrounding area. Bev was a wonderful host, very attentive and just a lovely person. The property being pet friendly was great. Our pups enjoyed the salt air and beach area as well. We would love to stay again.

Nice weekend stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The host was spot on with check in and check out. Nice clean cottage but FYI the owners are on property. Honestly we never saw them. The Tiki bar is the place to be. If you fish this is the spot, snook everywhere under the dock. We will probably go back with friends.

Vacation getaway

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO. Bev and Lin are great hostess and host. Very comfortable home and our dog loved it as well. Relaxed atmosphere, great location. Will definitely refer to friends and family.

Paradise in Florida

The property is in excellent shape and in a wonderful location on the Manatee River, just a few steps from the Dock, Tiki, and the water. It was so pleasant to see that Snead Island is still a peaceful place without the hustle and bustle of nearby Bradenton. I would recommend it to anyone ! This was my second year in a row visiting and the hosts (Bev and Len) were absolutely the greatest and so, very friendly. I look forward to yet another stay in the months to come !

Cottage on the Manatee River

Nice property on the Manatee River with a dock and kayaks that are available for free use. Emerson Point Preserve is beautiful with hiking/biking trails and lots of birds. Everyone was very friendly. Lots of dogs on site since the owners rescue dogs.

Very quaint and private.

Unfortunately the island had been devastated by Hurricane Helene. I am originally from this area, I expected what I saw on the island. With that said, the cottage was perfect for me and my pups! Bev was great to communicate with. I will definitely stay here again! This area is resilient, as it always has been. I will always support locals. I can’t wait to see how beautiful it will be on my next trip

Quiet Oasis

My husband and I (plus 2 fur babies) enjoyed a long weekend away in snead island. We used the provided Kayaks and indulged onn the mango tree too. Cottage had all necessary amenities.

Spring Getaway

This property was everything that I expected and I had a wonderful time. The Hosts were very, very friendly as well. Everything in the property listing was accurate, the scenery was wonderful and the Cottage was perfect (and in a perfect location for me). I needed some time away from my regular day-to-day activities and this gave me a place to simply relax and enjoy all that the gulf coast of Florida has to offer. Thanks for your hospitality! I would definitely wish to stay at this property again either later this year or next Spring!

Great Hosts!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage on Snead Island! It is certainly the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed. Len, Beverly and Smiley Miley are fabulous hosts and we couldn’t have felt more welcome and at home.

Bev has been a Florida resident for 40 year. They both love the area, know it well and are happy to share their knowledge with travelers to our sunny state. Len, inventor of The Tundra Buggy, resided in Manitoba Canada most of his life. He used his invention to take many people on expeditions to view and photograph Polar Bears. Bev is one of the founders and the current President of Everglades Angels Dog Rescue, an all volunteer charity that rehabilitates and homes abandoned and abused dogs, rescued in the Everglades regions of Florida.

Snead Island is a wonderful place for living as well as vacationing. Very friendly small town feel in beautiful surroundings. The entire Island including Emerson Park Preserve is also very pet friendly.

Swimming, kayaking, boating, Emerson Point Nature Preserve with many walking trails and swimming, fishing, bait shop on the island, yacht club available for one month trial membership to our guests considering joining the club, which includes use of the pool and all facilities including a boat launch. Snead Island is old florida at it's best. Such a relaxing atmosphere.
