Mossy oaks was a perfect property to suit our needs. I am a high school cross country coach and I brought my team up to Hiawassee for running camp. We enjoyed the change in terrain and temperature, and enjoyed the activities that hiawassee and its nearby towns had to offer. The home had a large bottom floor that could sleep 10-12 comfortably. The main floor had 2 bedrooms that could sleep 4 and a loft and bedroom upstairs that could sleep 2-4 more. We had so much space we didn't use one of the bedrooms. My only complaint was the linens and the need for sharp knives in the kitchen for cooking. Bed linens were worn, towels were thin from use, and all knives were very dull making cooking a challenge at times. We cooked most of our meals there during our 5-6 day stay. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would definitely rent this property again.
Hidden Mountain Gem
Our extended family enjoyed a long weekend get-together. There was plenty of room for 3 generations to spread out and have a good time. The home is in a quiet setting and has awesome views of the sunset from the deck. It has comfortable beds and nice sheets and towels. The rental agency staff was friendly and responsive.
A lovely stay in Hiawassee
This was a very nice property. It wasn't luxurious but it was very comfortable and worked very nicely for my family that included a 7, 5,4 and 1 year old. The location and layout were accurately described. It was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend it and would like to stay there again myself. We went to "beach", a local waterfall and hiking at High Shoals Falls.
Jeff and Inez 5th Anniversary
The house was very clean. Thanks goes to the housecleaning staff, everything we needed was in the home. The Renee at Century 21 made the celebration of our 5th anniversary a success. The cake was the perfect touch. My husband unlocked the door to the house, he came back outside and said "we have the wrong house someone got a wedding cake in there". We all started to laugh and say "happy anniversary". Wonderful!!!!!! couldn't have been a better place. The house was spacious and comfortable for everyone. Thanks again,
Thank you Inez. My staff strives to make each guests visit a pleasant and memorable experience. When we help make a "speccial occasion" a success, it makes our job rewarding. Thanks for making memories at Mossy Oaks Manor. We hope you will come back and stay with us again.
Magnificent Mossy Oak Manor Weekend
This home was the perfect family getaway place for our family! After experiencing the loss of our beloved grandmother just days before our planned weekend, we all needed time away as a family. Mossy Oak Manor was just the ticket. The home is beautiful, spacious and yet cozy. We spent time at the home and in the surrounding area cooking, hiking, playing pool and board games, rummaging thru Alexanders, and enjoying the hot tub. We cooked every meal except one and had everything we needed in the spacious kitchen. We had 12 of us ranging in age from 8 to 71, and there was something at Mossy Oak for every age.We even roasted marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit. We would definitely return to Mossy Oak Manor.
Conveniently located in a quiet setting just off the beaten trail but only a mile or so from either of 2 marinas on pristine Lake Chatuge, 10 minutes from the center of town, Brasstown Resort & Golf Course, and Young Harris College, you'll also be within 5 miles of the GA Mtn Fairgrounds and Anderson Music Hall with all their activities & events. When you’re ready to head out for some real adventure, there’s plenty to do. Nearby areas offer a variety of attractions within easy driving distance, such as hiking trails, scenic waterfalls, working gold mines where you can pan for gold or gems, go white water rafting, tubing on the river, horseback riding or attend a wine tasting & take the tour at either of the local vineyards. Take the kids to the Cabbage Patch Hospital and see how a Cabbage Patch Baby is born! There’s so much to do, you’ll run out of vacation before you run out of things to do!
