Rent Just One or Double Up For Larger Groups!: Big Sister to the ever-popular 'Mossy Oaks Lodge' (which sleeps up to 14) we call her 'Mossy Oaks Manor' but You’ll want to call it 'Home'! Located just steps across the way from each other, they're the perfect pair for large groups or reunions of 20 to 40 persons! Smaller groups will appreciate being able to all stay together in one place & still have 'their space'. And, since there are no other homes under construction on this mountaintop so far, you'll have the whole place to yourselves and double the amenities between you for double the fun! BUT, be sure to book early for prime dates, as many of those who have stayed here before have already made it a yearly tradition!

Awesome Views Plus All The Amenities - A Win/Win!: A Commanding View, Privacy, Location (just 5 minutes to town) and every convenience and amenity one could hope for, with all of the comforts of home, including: Hot Tub, Pool Table, Satellite TV, Fully equipped Island kitchen which opens out to the cozy sitting room with huge stone fireplace. The upper open Loft is set up as a separate TV viewing area with a sofa, love seat & shares a lg bath with the adjacent Queen sized bedroom. On the main level there's a King size Master suite and a separate Dining Rm. There's a 5th Bedroom w/Queen bed, Palladian window & sliding glass doors leading out to the deck. The lower level has a large Queen sized bedroom, while another bedroom on this level has 2 bunks, each with Double beds on the bottom & twins above. In addition, there are 2 more bunk beds with Queen sized futons below & twins above in the 'Media Room', just off the large game room with full sized pool table and an electronic wall-mounted dart board!

Places To Go & Things To Do!: This property (Not the other) is Pet Friendly, so for a small fee, you can even bring the pooch to make it a REAL family retreat! And for those of you who cannot get disconnected from your computers, we've installed DSL, so you can stay in touch or extend your stay another day or two and work from your 'vacation office'.

There's so much to do, you'll want to plan ahead to be sure you have as much vacation time as you have activities. That's going to be a real challenge with so many options! There are hiking trails, scenic waterfalls, river tubing and white-water rafting near-by, horseback riding stables, marinas where you can rent all sorts of water crafts, such as kayaks, jet skis, sailboats, motor boats & water skis, and pontoon boats for a party on the lake!

Besides the GA Mtn Fair, there are little shops & great restaurants in town, local festivals, concerts, craft shows and free concerts on the square every Saturday night during the season (weather permitting).

Hidden Mountain Gem

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family enjoyed a long weekend get-together. There was plenty of room for 3 generations to spread out and have a good time. The home is in a quiet setting and has awesome views of the sunset from the deck. It has comfortable beds and nice sheets and towels. The rental agency staff was friendly and responsive.

A lovely stay in Hiawassee

  • 5 of 5

This was a very nice property. It wasn't luxurious but it was very comfortable and worked very nicely for my family that included a 7, 5,4 and 1 year old. The location and layout were accurately described. It was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend it and would like to stay there again myself. We went to "beach", a local waterfall and hiking at High Shoals Falls.

Jeff and Inez 5th Anniversary

  • 5 of 5

The house was very clean. Thanks goes to the housecleaning staff, everything we needed was in the home. The Renee at Century 21 made the celebration of our 5th anniversary a success. The cake was the perfect touch. My husband unlocked the door to the house, he came back outside and said "we have the wrong house someone got a wedding cake in there". We all started to laugh and say "happy anniversary". Wonderful!!!!!! couldn't have been a better place. The house was spacious and comfortable for everyone. Thanks again,

Inez

Magnificent Mossy Oak Manor Weekend

  • 5 of 5

This home was the perfect family getaway place for our family! After experiencing the loss of our beloved grandmother just days before our planned weekend, we all needed time away as a family. Mossy Oak Manor was just the ticket. The home is beautiful, spacious and yet cozy. We spent time at the home and in the surrounding area cooking, hiking, playing pool and board games, rummaging thru Alexanders, and enjoying the hot tub. We cooked every meal except one and had everything we needed in the spacious kitchen. We had 12 of us ranging in age from 8 to 71, and there was something at Mossy Oak for every age.We even roasted marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit. We would definitely return to Mossy Oak Manor.

Borders Family Reunion 2011

  • 4 of 5

We had an awesome time @ Mossy Oak Manor! The house exceeded my expectations. All of the older adults had there own rooms and the younger ones had the basement. The kitchen was great, it had everything we needed to cook. We ate every meal except one lunch at the house. The dining room said sets 14 but there was only a table for 8. Make sure you bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. We ran out. The satellite did not work all weekend, but we were told when we checked out they could not guarantee the tv to work. Make sure you bring DVDs.

Georgia Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this rental was WONDERFUL. Marylou was very helpful and kind. The location is incredible. We went to Georgia for a friends wedding and everyone that rented cabins elsewhere wished they were staying with us! The cabin had a perfect layout and was big enough that all 5 couples had their own space. It was very homey and cozy. It's definitely a place I would love to go back to year after year.

I would definitely recommend having all your friends/ family read the guidelines binder at the beginning of your stay!

Owner's Response: Tara, thanks so much for taking the time to review our property. We join you in encouraging those who book to be sure their friends are familiar with the guidelines and policies, but most folks don’t need to be told not to light a fire in the fireplace when it’s 89 degrees outside. Not to worry, though, you’ll still be welcomed back any time, just not with those particular friends. You were very sweet and I appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
