Amazing home on the perfect location for whale watching. There were minor issues and they were addressed immediately. Great communication with office. Everything was wonderful. Spotlessly clean, quiet gated community, perfect layout for two couples' privacy. We thought it was prettier and more spacious than the photos posted. To nitpick, they could use new bed mattress toppers. USB ports everywhere! Wish we could stay longer, and we will be back! Make sure you wake up for sunrise and walk under the palm trees in the front. Thank you!

We stayed at this property during the Kona low storm of March 2026, so after three straight days inside, I can say that this home is quite literally an OASIS. First off, built to withstand INCHES AND INCHES of rainfall and 70 mph wind gust without even flinching. And during our 72 hours straight indoors, the whole home had an absolutely zen feeling. Everything felt super curated and intentional. Landscaping is immaculate, location is super quiet and relaxing (gated community that's a mix of permanent residents and rentals, close enough to get to restaurants and shopping, right next to the bay with night manta ray tours). The views from the back lanai are mesmerizing. We watched huge waves crash on the volcanic sea cliffs all week, and once the storm settled, humpback whales appeared in the bay. Community has a great pool / hot tub setup. Kitchen is fully loaded with everything you could possibly need. Beds are super comfortable. Whole family definitely wants to return to this property!

Stunning home

We loved staying at Blue View!! The home is lovely. The kitchen is well stocked. We were able to make meals without issue. We loved the sunsets over the pool and the lights from the Manta Ray boats moored in the evenings. Very special. We did run into an issue when we opened the doors for indoor/outdoor living and turned off the air. The A/C is moderated so it cycles on and off, meaning you can’t cool house back down for 8-10 hrs or overnight. So beware of that. Once we left the doors closed, all was well again. It didn’t affect the joy of our stay and the incredible views being right on the water watching golfers and goats! If you can’t be happy here, you aren’t thinking clearly. Blue View is what dreams are made of!

Paradise in Paradise

First things first, David, the concierge, was so pleasant and professional to work with regarding a few of our needs prior to our trip. He promptly returned our calls, and gave us answers and solutions to our meet our needs. Very impressed with the voice of Kona Coast Vacations! The home was beyond perfect! The location was amazing, with a view that included the most magnificent sunsets as well as a calm and relaxing oceanfront to enjoy on the comfortable patio. The goats on the rocks were a big bonus and a delight for the grandchildren. The lay out of the house was fantastic. All the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The split allowed the adults to have personal space and privacy. The quiet and peaceful neighborhood was wonderful. The entire area was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The guys loved playing golf and the grandkids thought it was awesome to watch Daddy and Grandpa golf right next to the backyard. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and vacation rental company to anyone- you will only be impressed! Thank you for providing such an incredible experience for our family get together in Paradise.

Peaceful and immaculate home

We rented this house to be by the sea and that it was. House is relatively new and it felt clean and refreshing. The bedrooms are generosity sized, all ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is GE Monogram so pleasant to cook in. The only minor complaint was the A/C could not be lowered beneath 72. Some parts of the house could be much warmer based on distance from vents. The pool is not heated, which was no issue, but we had to share it with the mynah birds! The golf course was no issue as the tee is much lower than the lanai and no one could see over. Very private.

Wonderful stay, quiet location.

We stayed here over spring break and had a wonderful time. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and it overlooks a golf course. The location is far from Kona so you'll need a car. The backyard faces a tee off area so you'll see lots of golfers and carts, but it's generally pretty quiet. The views are great and the home is modern and clean. We would stay here again if we ever visit the Big Island.
