Mosley Cottage

Our family has been staying at Mosley Cottage for years and it just seems to get better each time. The current owners have upgraded the downstairs kitchen (yes it also has a full kitchen upstairs) and brightened it up with beach decor. The assortment of beach chairs available for use makes it nice to not have to haul yours. We have already booked our week for 2026.

Great for big families

We have a large family and usually have a hard time finding the space to accommodate all of us so that we can relax together. The 2 downstairs sitting areas as well as the upstairs living room area and its own kitchen were perfect for us!

Wonderful Home close to beach

We loved the house and location. Renting a golf cart made this the perfect location for our family. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that the dishwasher on the lower level did not clean the dishes so we hand washed throughout the week. We would come back to this home in the future.

Great location, house needs some work

Easy to get to the beach and the cute downtown. The house itself could use some deep cleaning and the dishwasher did not get the dishes clean. We had to rewash everything by hand. Also would be helpful to have a a few written instructions on where things like outside trash cans cans were stored.

Great Vacation Home

Great cottage for a group

We had 4 couples staying in the home. We all had our own bathrooms. Great gathering spaces too. We enjoyed the outside grill and eating areas. Beach is very close by. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Lovely Home

We loved that the house had plenty of room for the entire family with lots of smaller spaces for folks to venture to for quiet spaces. The two block walk to the beach was great & the island was perfect!

Charming cottage steps from the ocean

The cottage was perfect for our large group of all ages. There was plenty of space and the kids had their own living area upstairs. The evenings were nice to enjoy the back patio and fire pit. The best part was being able to walk to the beach and restaurants nearby. As someone who grew up on St. Simons and now returns for family gatherings, this cottage met all our needs and offers a classic island charm. We look forward to returning soon.

Charming cottage and only 3min walk to beach!

The location is fantastic. Love all the trees and shade. The outdoor firepit was great for s’mores and hot dogs. The sunrooms on each floor are perfect for games or enjoying your morning coffee. TVs and WiFi work perfectly. Lots of space to spread out or if everyone wants to be in one room there is plenty of seating for that too.

Spacious House Minutes from the beach

I had a lovely few days staying here in St Simons! The house has plenty of room, and I appreciated the many spots for chargers in the dining area. The house is just a three minute walk from the beach which makes it convenient if you want to take a break from the beach. The backyard also has a lovely tree which provides a nice shaded area to escape the sun. Highly recommend this stay!

Another great stay at Mosely Cottage!

We just returned from our 3rd time staying at Mosely Cottage for our girls' trip. Once again, we had a wonderful time. We love this quaint home! It is clean, well-furnished, and stocked with everything you need. There is plenty of room for everyone and is close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. There is so much to do on St Simons Island as well as the surrounding area. This time we took a day trip to Sapelo Island, which was fantastic (last time we went to Cumberland Island, which was also terrific). I highly recommend Mosley Cottage and we look forward to returning soon!

Fun Beach home

The location is so close to the beach and downtown St. Simon's. We enjoyed the firepit on those cool fall nights. The accommodations were perfect with our large group. We were glad to have separate spaces for some of the guests to work remotely while others were able to exercise and visit. Large dining spaces in the kitchen and 2 decks outside. Beds were very comfortable, and I slept great. The 4 bathrooms made getting ready to go out very efficient with all the girls. The decor was charming, and we look forward coming back again!!! We made some wonderful memories this week!!!

Great home for multiple families!

This home provides a great location to the ocean and walkable to the village. This home provides multiple living areas and two kitchens to spread out for large groups or multiple families. Listing is accurately represented for this beach cottage. The cottage was clean and ready for us upon arrival.

Mosley Cottage at Saint Simons Island

We love to visit Saint Simon Island because there is so much to do: the beach, many various restaurants, plenty of sightseeing sites, or just to relax. The Mosley Cottage makes all of the above very easy due to its location. A few minutes to the each, restaurants within a walking distance or a very short drive. To relax there is a large private deck in the back, and also a large deck on the second floor to watch the world go by. Or you can watch TV in various rooms. The cottage itself is very comfortable with plenty of space for a number of family members or friends, nicely furnished, even with books and games to help you relax. Very enjoyable! tv

Great vacation

We had a party of 10 who came down from NJ to attend my daughter’s graduation from Coastal. This house was in the best location- a block from the beach, walkable to the pier. The house is beautifully decorated- very beachy. Each floor has a deck, kitchen and living room. It was perfect - one floor for the older generation and one for the younger generation. It was very clean. The management was great- very responsive when I text them. I only had to text them once- to stay later than 10AM on checkout day. For a small fee we stayed- well worth it. Plus they were very thoughtful the day we checked in- they allowed us early check in which was great. I can not say enough about how happy I was with the whole experience. We had a great time!! Would love to go back!!!

Great getaway. . .just check the dishes before use

The location of the property was definitely the bright spot of the stay. The house is truly within walking distance of everything. The check-in procedure was not quite up to date or accurate, it made entering the property difficult. The cleanliness of the house was generally fine, but the refrigerator smelled like fish for the first two days and didn't get all that cold. The freezer didn't freeze anything, it was just a colder version of the fridge. The dishes generally needed to be washed before use; more than a few had remnants of food left on them. The property served its purpose and provided a place for our family to get together and spend time.

Girls retreat

Our stay started out with quite the hiccup. I had been given the entry code to use on the door and it worked, but however, the door had been dead bolted from the inside after contacting management. They questioned the fact that the door was not supposed to be dead bolted, and all I needed to do was put the code in and the door would open, I tried to tell them I did that but they still acted as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. Waiting on someone to get there at least an hour and 15 minutes and then he questioned the same thing about me opening the door with the code, we showed him that it would not work . We had to wait on him to go to a warehouse to get a set of keys so that the door could be unlocked. It was 40 outside and when we got into the house finally it was 42 in the house because they had not turned the heat on . We had traveled all day and we were tired and ready to be in the house when I questioned this with the management, they did not want to really do any form of reconciliation but 50 which to me was ridiculous. Finally, they settled on the amount of 135 which to me was still not sufficient because there were 10 people involved , the house itself was nice. We just had to rewash a few dishes.
