Longing for the beach

The property exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for two families and easy access to the beach. Enjoyed that the property was gated and the pool was large enough for several families.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very cozy place with near beach access. Other than a few small maintenance/convenience things we had a wonderful time. The heated pool on property was great to entertain a toddler. I would recommend reviewing the kitchen for maintenance (disposal) and for key items that a guest might not bring with them (oven mit, etc.) Thanks for letting us stay!

Even across the street from the beach, we had a view of the ocean from our 4th floor balcony. Unlike most vacations, we did not wait for an elevator once! It is on my list for a return trip.

One of the beds was broken. In the master bath, mold in the jacuzzi tub. Had to go buy bleach to clean and black mold came out of all the jets.

Family vacation

I recently stayed at a unit with a stunning view of the ocean, which made for a beautiful backdrop throughout my visit. The location was fantastic, with easy access to local restaurants and beaches. However However, the unit itself was in need of a facelift. Some aspects felt dated, and a bit of updating would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience. I was disappointed with my stay due to a few issues. The unit was missing potholders, which made cooking a hassle. More concerning, there was a strong odor of dog urine that was quite unpleasant. We had to buy vinegar to help mitigate the smell. Overall, while the location was great, these issues detracted significantly from our experience. On a positive note, the management company was responsive and helpful, though out our trip.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked the layout of the condo. Nice and big with plenty of space. Unit was pretty clean overall. There were a few issues. The balcony is nice and you can see the pool and the ocean but the street traffic is pretty loud. We did not spend a lot of time out there just because the traffic gets pretty loud. The kitchen is poorly supplied, with the pots and pans being very old and scratched up. No pot holder, and Zero spices. Not even salt and pepper. We are used to rentals having at least a few simple spices to cook with and not having to burn yourself if you happen to bake something.

Family beach vacation 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd consecutive year renting this specific condo and we absolutely love the place. The location is great with easy access and close to the beach. The space in the condo is spread out and sufficient for multiple parties. There were only two minor disappointments. The Wi-Fi was almost non-existent in the first room closest to the front door. Worked ok in the rest of the condo. A stronger router or perhaps a “system” of them to extend the strength further would be helpful. The other issue was in the same front room, the room does not cool as well as the rest of the condo. Wasn’t a huge deal but would be nice if it cools a little better. For context, I’m a warm natured person. Overall, our entire family had a blast and would certainly consider this condo again next year. Thanks for having us!

Spring Break 2022

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very pleasant for the most part, however, I received calls and f complaint 3 times with no validity to 2/3 of them. A noise complaint was one and we literally could not have been more pleasant neighbors and the kids I had with me are assigned group of young adults that would restore anyone’s hope for the future of humanity and that is no joke. I would’ve invited anyone there or anyone in the management team to come meet them and enjoy a mail with us I am proud to know these teenagers! Another complaint which I understand and part of it was also frustrating is that we had too many cars. Well I understand the rental agreement of two cars per unit and understand the reasons why our situation changed as the vacation week approached a couple of folks couldn’t arrive until Wednesday missing half of the trip a few more folks had to leave Friday one day before departure therefore for two nights we had five cars but the rest of the time the two car limit was honored. I find it sad that anyone would call and complain when no one was inconvenienced at the time of the complaints I counted 23 open spaces in the parking lot. I also was aware that the parking lot had plenty of parking spaces the entire time we were there so this complaint was a little frustrating thankfully it did not result in any consequences and I’m appreciative of that this is the second time to stay in villas at Seagrove and I can’t wait to come back!

Cleanliness Concern

This was the 2nd time that our family stayed at this condo, the first being in the summer of 2019. The space, the pool, and the location were great, but over the last few years it seems that several things have not been taken care of and we were very disappointed this year. 1. Cockroaches - We found several cockroaches throughout the condo - bathroom, kitchen counter, under kitchen sink, etc. While we recognize these are pests that are normal in the area, it is unacceptable to have found a handful throughout the week in a 4th floor condo. Also, upon arriving home, one was found in our luggage that had sat inside a bedroom closet. 2. Washing Machine - The washing machine would shake and rattle so badly that it sounded like it was going to come through the walls or fall through the floor. We let maintenance know about this after it happened the first time, but no one visited to take a look. 3. Coffee Machine - The standard coffee maker stopped working halfway through the week. 4. Kitchen Sink Faucet - The faucet handle is literally being held together with electrical tape. It worked, but it looked disgusting and seemed at risk of completely breaking each time we used it. 5. Bathroom Toilets - Both master bathroom ensuite toilets ran the entire week. They worked, but it was an annoyance. 6. Toaster - The toaster only toasts on one side of each slot. 7. Wifi - It would go in and out to the point where we couldn't use our devices and watch tv at the same time. In 2022, almost every family member has a device that requires wifi, so this was a problem. 8. Mouse Poop - There appeared to be mouse poop behind the tall dresser in the back master bedroom. This was not noticed until the last day of our trip and when coupled with the cockroaches, it seems the cleaning is not effectively happening. 9. Light Bulbs - Of the 4 recessed ceiling lights over the dining table, 3 were out. We let maintenance know immediately about this iss as well, and someone came within a couple of days to change them, but this seems like something that a cleaning crew should have noticed and addressed in between rental groups if they were effectively doing their job. 10. Breaker - One fuse in particular blew multiple times throughout the week. 11. Rear Master Jet Tub - A ton of black specks came flying out of the jets, clearly displaying the jets had not been cleaned in some time.

Great Beach Stay with Plenty of Room for Everyone

Reviewer Comments: Property was just as pictured and described--beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, well equipped, quiet, an incredible view, and an easy walk to the beach. Keep in mind that there are only 2 key fobs for beach access--more would be helpful for such a large condo. We had to continually juggle the 2 key fobs to ensure access for family members coming and going from the beach at different times, but that is a minor issue. Overall a wonderful condo, and we would definitely stay there again.

We lucked out with having a better view and better sleeping arrangements in the new condo! Our only potential issue with the new condo was the presence of some roaches, spiders, and small bugs. I highly suggest spraying this condo so other guests do not have additional unwanted tenants.

Nice but...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Asked for courtesy early check in. I was told the unit was vacant for the 3 days prior to my arrival but then told housekeeping/inspector would have to give all clear before early check in so I would have to call back on the day of. We arrived at appx 1pm called and were told inspection had not happened & to call back at 2pm. We hung out at the property. When we called back at 2pm suddenly we could only leave a message. When they called back about 3pm the "inspection" had been done and no one ever entered/left the unit. Seems the inspection story was just a ploy just to keep from offering a convenience of early check in to the guest. Still had to wipe down a sticky refrigerator door and kitchen cabinet handles!! Would have preferred to be told the truth rather than fabricated stories about inspections that didnt happen. The whole experience left me a little put out. In addition the freezer had a broken drawer and 1 shower door was off track and could not be closed. I would need more feedback to recommend this property.

Our only complaint is the fight for beach space (if using your own chairs)once you make it down to the beach(it's a very short walk). We went to rent chairs and they were already all reserved by Sunday. That would be nice to know in advance.
