Part cabin in the woods, part luxury hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mountain view! The cozy stone fireplace, awesome hot tub and peaceful surroundings made for a wonderful, long thanksgiving weekend. Thank you Meredith & Nick for making us feel so welcome!

Luxury getaway - remote but convenient to everything!

Our family just got back from a trip that exceeded our expectations. Meredith Smith's home was even better than the photos and description promised - every amenity, comfort, and convenience was there for us. She also provided great suggestions for local activities and restaurants that enhanced our stay. Our family of parents and teens had plenty of room to spread out, and we have excellent memories of sunset dinners on the deck and hot tubbing under the stars. The location is superb. We enjoyed total privacy on ten beautifully landscaped acres, but everything we wanted to do was an easy drive away (kayaking, swimming, hiking, falcon school, horseback riding, grocery shopping, the Northshire Bookstore). The entire process felt very personalized and smooth, from check in to check out. The rental instructions were detailed and helpful, and Meredith was responsive to a few questions I had. We recommend this wonderful place for your next getaway!

Vermont Home Away from Home

We just enjoyed a wonderful week in Vermont, and in no small part because of our stay at "Mountainview". The house is well-equipped for our family of five (three kids in their twenties, my husband and I) and close to great skiing, hiking, glass-blowing, and shopping. My husband and I have been to the area before in the fall, but we'll want to make this our new base of operations for future visits every season of the year. Meredith was the most responsive host we've ever had and was an absolute delight, making us feel as though we were in our own home. We'll definitely be back!!

Amazing stay!

We just returned from an amazing stay at Meredith and Nick's place. The house was very clean, in a great location, and had everything that we needed for a relaxing two-week stay. Meredith was very responsive with any requests/questions that we had which allowed us to really appreciate our time away. We highly recommend booking this place and know that you will have a wonderful time enjoying all that Vermont has to offer.

Fantastic Stay

We had an excellent time at Mountainview House. Meredith was VERY communicative throughout our entire stay. The house was beautiful and very well kept. Listing was exactly as presented. The property was also gorgeous and with so many mountains in close proximity, it was the perfect locaiton for our NYE ski trip. Having access to park in the garage was a huge bonus to keep the cars out of the snow and not have to dig out in the morning! 5 stars all around!
