Este 4th Floor Balcony Suite Plus es un gran lugar para disfrutar de la vista al mar. Hay un sofá cama doble en la sala de estar, ventilador de techo y un televisor de pantalla plana de 40 ". Our unit was clean, well equipped , and quiet, but for the soothing rhythm of the pounding serf. I took advantage, for the first time, of watching a middle of the night launch of a SpaceX satellite from Cape Canaveral, standing on the walkway to the beach.

Lovely Stay

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly, helpful member of staff in the reception building. Our apartment was clean and well maintained. The complex was lovely, with a nice laid back, friendly feel. There were a lot of people staying there but it was never noisy. It was fabulous to walk on the beach every day, with easy access from the complex. The pool area looked nice, but we didn't use it. Particularly liked the fact that there are designated smoking areas and this seemed to be adhered to by guests as we didn't smell any smoke coming from other balconies, as is often the case. Also liked the fact that dogs have to be kept on a leash on the beach and the beach is well patrolled. There is a lot to do in the general area but we were happy to just relax at the resort for the 5 days we were there. The Pizza place opposite the complex is highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again if we visit this area.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1. View: 4th floor view of the beach, ocean and sunrise was terrific.2. Shower: the bathroom was small, but the walk-in shower was really good. 3. Spaces: large enough for two. 4. Bed: comfortable, but closest to road & road noise. Our personal white noise helped. 5. Overall appearance: dated and poorly upgraded. Mismatched baseboard molding, VERY hard to move slider door, cracks in Sheetrock around slider doorway, toilet made loud noise when refilling, refrigerator made loud noise when closing door, TV had only a few working channels. 6. Cleanliness: the entire floor was dirty, and felt somewhat sticky. We wore socks or shoes whenever walking on the floor. 7. Stay again? Probably not. Even though we had a good experience overall, we would explore other properties, especially for cleanliness.

The condo was clean, the shower was great, and the bed was comfortable....all very important to us. The view from the balcony was fantastic! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We were impressed that they seemed to always be cleaning the common areas. Weekly housekeeping also did a great job. We loved the beach and surrounding areas. So much hiking and nature to explore!! We already booked 2025 and and cant wait to get back!

Lovely Unit for a Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This may be the best unit we've stayed in at Beacher's Lodge where we come for a few nights twice a year. The property was very clean and attractive. The bed was comfortable as was the couch and dining room chairs. The kitchen had all that we needed. We like to eat out in the evening but could easily have prepared dinners as well as breakfast and lunch. We especially appreciate the amount of storage in the bedroom--love not having to even partially live out of a suitcase. The walk-in shower is a really good feature, too. We were pleasantly surprised that they have returned to daily housekeeping services sine the pandemic. Our needs as a couple are minimal but for a family, I know that can be important. We were sorry that the nearby seafood restaurant has closed; we have enjoyed a lunch there in the past. However, we like driving into St. Augustine for dinner. Our current favorites are Black Fly, the Ice House and Gypsy Cab (a perennial favorite for us). The Washington State Gardens just south of Marineland are always lovely. Trails and flower beds are well maintained and the many benchs, both in the gardens and by the intercoastal waterway provide places to read, sketch and picnic.
