Check in etc was fantastic. The host and manager were very helpful. Location is great. Beach access is right across the street. Lots of food options (grocery stores, restaurants etc) are within a short walk. Pool was enjoyable and convenient. Not be a heated pool certainly didn't allow us to use it to full potential, partially because the first few days of the trip were cool by Cabo standards. The condo is well stocked with everything you need while on vacation.

Nice Week in San Jose Del Cabo

We really enjoyed our stay at this one bedroom condo. The condo is very conveniently located within a minute of the beach. Great restaurants and the grocery store is are in walkable distances. The condo itself is very nicely furnished and the kitchen has all the accoutrements you could ask for!

Winter Getaway

We spent 6 weeks at this property. The 14 unit condo was quiet and secure. It is well situated to the beach and grocery shopping. The condo itself has original charm, is very well equipped with all necessary holiday gear for a short or long term rental.

First time to Mexico

Great location! We felt we had a very authentic visit to Mexico, and the condo had everything we needed. Our host quickly responded to all of our questions before we went, including changing our dates due to airplane schedules, and information about how to get around on the local bus system and places to vist. The rental manager lives on site. We were well supported and are very pleased we stayed there.

Perfect Location

Wonderful 8 days in well outfitted 1 BR condo. Property Manager, Esther and owner, Ken extremely responsive and helpful. We of the “ Senior ilk” initially unable to access streaming TV but both Esther and Ken responded immediately, and worked with us until “ we got it” Pool was warm, nice size and truthfully I was usually the only one at the pool. Several nice restaurants nearby and grocery store less than a mile away. Beach on Sea of Cortez just an easy walk across the street. We love San Jose del Cabo so this was a perfect vacation rental!!

Great place to stay in San Jose del Cab

Ken and the team were amazing with communication in prep of the stay and during the stay. There was a small hurdle to overcome getting into the condo upon arrival but the team was very prompt on response. and we got in. Thank you Ken, Esther and Maria! The place was quiet, has all the amenities needed for a longer stay. It was close to beach, grocery store, restaurants, and a short walk to downtown to experience the arts and culture of San Jose del Cabo. If you are looking for a lit up party scene I would say you may want to head to Cabo San Lucas. For us, it was the perfect experience and we will stay again..

Great Place For A Month Stay!

We are Canadian snowbirds who love to visit Mexico each winter for a month or so. We found Ken's condo to be perfect for our stay. Everything was exactly as the description and provided a great alternative to a hotel. The condo had great personality and was very quaint. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the close proximity to shopping and restaurants made for not needing to drive a lot. We did drive our car from California to San Jose and back and it was a beautiful drive! We found the location was perfect to everything and walking was a great way to see things and shop. The pool and patio area was great to go to daily and the weather was amazing! Blue sky and 85F days and 65F nights for almost four weeks! We found that the price, amenities and location were just what we needed. We will not hesitate to stay here again and look forward to returning soon!

Fantastic Condo in a Great Location!

We had a great time at Ken's condo! It was very, very clean & comfortable and we especially liked the 'Mexican decor' in the condo. It was more than fully equipped with everything to cook a great meal, also there were lots of extra towels & sheets, even some lightweight beach chairs to carry down to the beach which was only a short 2 min walk - right across the street. We really enjoyed the satellite TV & sirius Radio if we wanted to relax at 'home' in the evening. It was very centrally located between the Mega 'superstore' (10 min walk) and downtown San Jose (15 min walk). Ken had a lot of good information available on the best places to see & best restaurants to go to -- that info was so helpful. Esther, the Propery Manager, was great too -- and took the time to answer many of our questions. We felt very safe walking or taking the local bus everywhere we wanted to go. The locals were very friendly and helpful and after a few weeks, we started to feel like locals ourselves! The pool was great too & we noticed the maintenance workers were there almost everyday cleaning the pool & the grounds! All in all, this was probably one of our most enjoyable holidays & a place we will definitely come back to. The beach in San Jose is unbelievably beautiful and not too crowded. Thanks for everything, Ken - I'm sure we'll be back & will be telling all our friends too!

Don’t do it…

Renter BEWARE!!! My wife and I have been to San Jose del Cabo multiple times over the past decade and always stay at a VRBO condo. We have never stayed in a place quite like this however. To say it was borderline uninhabitable is an understatement. Let’s start with the overall cleanliness. Grime in the tiles of the kitchen, bathroom and shower. I had to wipe everything down and wash the dishes BEFORE using them. The cutting board reeked of rotten meat when I washed it. There was enough hot water for about 3-4 total minutes so we couldn't take a decent shower let alone my wife. We were so desperate for a decent shower we bought day passes to the resort across the steeet just to use their shower amenities. Our favorite thing to do is go to the beach. The beach equipment included two very small and uncomfortable upright chairs (not actual beach chairs) and a broken plastic umbrella. The beach towels are worn so thin with no absorbency at all- I have tee shirts thicker than them. The place gets no sunlight so it was just dark and dingy inside. The sheets were thin and stained, it was just overall dirty and beyond disappointing. If you’re thinking of staying here I would strongly recommend you reconsider!

Good morning, It is very unfortunate that the stay did not meet up to the Guests expectations. I was advised about the hot water issue which prompted maintenance to trouble shoot the issue. I wished our Guest would have reached out to me in an effort to mitigate and address any other issues. We always encourage Guest feedback after checkout to make any improvements or updates to the condo as necessary and act on them. This is the first time we have received such negative feedback. Alternatively, there are numerous hotels and resorts in the area that are always an option. In the meantime, we will continue to work to maintain the best hospitality we can at our home away from home for ourselves and future Guests!

We loved the condo, it was perfect for just the two of us, and once we figured out the bus system, a quick walk or bus ride to pretty much anywhere. The little extras like a beach umbrella and cooler really made the difference. Kenny was also super patient and helpful when getting prepared for our visit. We had a wonderful stay at Kenny's condo! It was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I! Loved that we could walk across the street to the beach! It was very quiet and close to many shops and places to eat! The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed! Loved the Mexican charm of the condo! We will definitely stay again!

This cosy one bedroom is right across from the beach access in the ‘Hotel Zone’ in San José, about a 15 minute walk to the big grocery store and 25 minutes from downtown San José. Access arrangements were very clear and easy; Esther, the Aloha property manager,drops by with a great orientation right after you arrive. Bed’s comfy; shower is great and the kitchen has everything you might need. A/C is very efficient; we used it only at night as the street traffic is a bit bothersome with the door open. Otherwise, there is always a lovely breeze through from the golf course or the beach. Had an excellent time.

Just what we planned!!

Very relaxing. Perfect weather and location. Everything was exactly how it was described and Ken and Esther was very pleasant and helpful all along the way including accommodate us with our early arrival. A/C did make some loud noise on our last day but breeze was so nice that did not need to use it. Esther also e-mailed us that she will take care of it next day. Thank you for everything and definitely recommend it to anybody who want vacation rental in cabo.

Couldn't have been better!

The complex is very clean, quiet, and centrally located. Across the street from the ocean, walking distance or take the bus into downtown San Jose, walk to the Mega Store for groceries! Everything you need is supplied at the condo. The complex does sit on the main street of the 'hotel zone', but its pretty quiet at night. We will definitely be back, but will be staying longer!

Amazing Location, Accommodation, Pool, and the list goes on . . .

Our 23 day holiday in San Jose Del Cabo was wonderful due to many things. Contact: When we first contacted Ken about his condo, he was very quick in his responses, answering all our questions, and providing with us all the information we needed to make our decision on renting his condo for our stay. Location: It was the best location we could have asked for. Just across the street was the walkway to the beach, behind us a beautiful, quiet golf course, the pool was usually not busy so it felt as if it was our own private pool, up and down the street were eating establishments, the Mega Food Store was within walking distance and provided everything you could ask for, and just a short walk or bus ride was Old San Jose Del Cabo town with lots of shops, restaurants, and the Thursday night art walk. Condo: The condo has a Mexican charm and was well outfitted for our daily needs. It provided all the kitchen items needed to make our meals, and we found many daily cooking items in the cupboard such as spices, oil, etc. We often ate our supper outside on the balcony overlooking the pool and street. It was quiet at night and the AC and fans made our experience very comfortable. We appreciated the fact that the landscaper was there everyday, watering, cleaning, and maintaining the grounds so that it was always in perfect condition. RECOMMENDATION: Yes, Yes, Yes! Would definitely stay again and suggest Ken’s condo to friends and family.

Fabulous home away from home

Thank you so much Ken for your hospitality. The condo was perfectly located close to the beach. We had a wonderful vacation, the kitchen is well equipped which was important to us, the bed is comfortable. We like to walk and enjoyed exploring the area on foot the first week. Our favorite restaurants include Claros Fish Jr., Molly's and La Guacamayas. The second week we rented a car expended our exploration. We recommend a visit to Todos Santos a charming little tourist town. We highly recommend this condo to all our family and friends.

WONDERFUL HOLIDAY

Thank you Ken, for all your help – you are a great landlord. Your condo is in the best location with easy access to the Mega store, bus service and perfect for me to take extended walks. Covered many miles, visited shops, checked out many area, all on foot. I found the condo well equipped, very clean, comfortable bed, and made much use of the deck - coffee in the morning and wine in the late afternoon, watching the repair work across the street at the Barcelo Resort etc. The weather, of course, was perfect. I enjoyed my month and a half stay and will definitely recommend your condo to friends and family.

Hidden Gem for a Quiet Getaway!

My friend and I stayed at this property for 10 days in November, and it was perfect for our needs! It is located right across the street from the beach, yet still secure and private when we preferred to hang by the pool. Very quiet location yet close enough to amenities that you could walk. The condo looked exactly like the pictures and super clean and very well maintainted! It felt like a home away from home. Neighbours are quiet and friendly, and the owner of the property is a great guy, very helpful and aproachable.

An excellent choice

Our weather was fabulous. No rain and 21-28 C every single day. Perfect. We found the unit matched the listing description - there were no surprises! Photos are accurate - the property was very clean and tidy. The beds were excellent and the linens were fresh. Really appreciated the t-paper, coffee, ironing board, and blow dryer! The owner was customer focused - we never had to wait long for a response and his replies and recommendations were dead-on. Loved the swimming pool and proximity to Mega store, beach, the Estuary, downtown, buses, car rentals, restaurants. We felt very safe wherever we were. Our favourite restaurants were Shooters (especially the 10 peso Corona and the breeze) and Baja Brewing Co. (try the wings and the blue cheese burger!) To see more of the Estuary take a walk on the sidewalk down past El Presidente Hotel and find the path going off on the left. Take a look at the new Marina - there are some interesting pieces of art along the walkway. Wear good shoes - we did a ton of walking! This was a great vacation and we will certainly be recommending this location to our friends and family.

Hello! I live in Edmonton, AB. and have been travelling to Los Cabos at least once a year for the past 12 years. I have yet to fill the bucket list of things to do in the area and urge you to come and not only enjoy my Condo but everything San Jose Del Cabo has to offer. The Condo is in close walking proximity to every amenity you require! Hard to beat that.
