3 bed 2 bath Beach cottage 1750 sq ft with gardens 15 minute walk to the beach

3 bedroom beach cottage with one master suite with spacious bathtub and separate shower, 2 extra bedrooms with second bathroom. French style kitchen with adjacent sitting area. Floor plan approx. 1750 sq. ft. Spacious lounge, dining room and French country kitchen with adjacent sitting area, breaks up the living spaces. Front garden with leafy shady trees and rope swing and back deck with barbecue and grass area. Beach towels, boogie boards, umbrellas available. Please note this is my home and has personal effects, books, photos, clothing (in some of the bedroom cupboards). The beach cottage shares a side access way to a separate one bedroom beach apartment and garden at the back of the property which is not part of the VRBO rental, but can be made available (beginning New Year 2026) on request, if more space is needed for your group.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please strip the beds and leave any used towels on the floor, much appreciated.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Pets are allowed with a pet fee, but they are not allowed to relieve themselves on the garden lawns. If they do there will be a $100 fee.
Parties are not allowed. There will be a $50/day fee for any additional guests over the allowed max of 6 guests.

This was a great place and location to stay for my elderly mother, an infant, my dog, and 2 other family members. It felt like a family retreat and the home is so welcoming and cozy. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants, close to beach, and palos verdes trees!Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family and I couldn't have dreamed up a more lovely place to stay for our vacation. The kitchen, all of the bedrooms, dining area and front garden, are just stunning. Lance is quite the accommodating host and communicating with him was effortless. I would book this home again in an instant. I could not be more happy or satisfied with our experience at The Chateau.

The house was next to everything is short possible walk to the beach however we decided to drive because we had a lot of stuff but restaurants gas station stores all very close by friendly neighbors friendly people

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient

This place is lovely from the outside and cozy on the inside. Just a walk from the Hollywood Riviera where Starbuck’s, Trader Joe’s and restaurants are available. The beach is just a little bit farther. Wonderful to stay at a place so close to my childhood stomping grounds.

Perfect Gathering Spot of Everyone.

Was a perfect place for our family to gather. Comfortable spaces inside and out. Great location- close to the beach and Riviera Village (shopping and food). Host was gracious and great to coordinate with. Our family would definitely stay there again.

Cute house with a great location. Was warm and stuffy when I arrived, but opened the windows and ran the fans to get comfortable. Great kitchen and outdoor space. House had everything I needed and a quick walk to Redondo.

This property worked well for our three-night stay -- Grandma and Grandpa in the master bedroom, with relatively large private bath (lots of counter space); adult daughter, her husband, and twin 4-year-old boys in the other two bedrooms with their own bath, albeit small. A rope swing and soccer ball in the front yard provided a mini-playground for the boys, and the living room and kitchen provided indoor room to roam. We did no cooking, so can't comment on the kitchen amenities. Lots of interesting books to thumb through. Handy Torrance location, just off of Pacific Coast Highway.

quaint home away from home

cozy little home just off PCH with lots of charm. beds are comfortable, master bath tub is nice. perfect for exploring around redondo or just hanging out. it is owner occupied so there are personal items from the owner in the home.

Rose Bowl 2024!

We had a great time visiting our adult son and checking out Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes. This property was situated very nicely and allowed us to enjoy an amazing meal on New Years Eve. We had an enjoyable day at the Rose Bowl. The house was nice to return to after a day full of activities.

Tenants' refuge during a repair
