Modern Beach House, Perfect Getaway for some R&R!

I can certainly understand and relate to working hard to be able to create memorable experiences with family, so I am thrilled to hear that you were happy with the property and enjoyed your stay here. As mentioned in a previous message, the cleaner and I were unable to make it up to the property until four days after your departure. Fortunately, VRBO has a 14 day window for owners to report any damages in the event that situations like this arise. I hope the detailed message and photos I provided you served as a more thorough explanation rather than “unwarranted accusations” as to why you incurred additional fees. To reiterate, due to the staining that was left on our wall and tub, candy and balloons left throughout the house, and mud caked onto floors from wearing winter shoes indoors, it took our cleaner several hours to restore our home to its original condition. In turn, he charged us an extra fee for the additional time this required. We also needed to replace broken blinds and incurred unanticipated heating costs from a window being left open during these cold temperatures in February. I hope you feel that your voice has been heard and again, we appreciate the kind words regarding our home. Best, Kelly
