Fantastic 5 Bedroom Home Just 5 Minute Walk To The Beach

5 bedroom, 4 bathrooms includes a first floor bedroom, deck and yard

Enjoy the sounds of the ocean from our 5 bedroom, 4 full bathroom home. Only a quick 5 minute walk to Long Sands Beach, this house is completely furnished and equipped for your vacation needs including WiFi. The open concept kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and ample seating. Spend warm days at the beach and sleep in the comfort of central air conditioning. There are comfortable leather sofas and HD TV in the living room and a second living room with a TV on the 3rd floor provides extra space to stretch out and relax. Three bedrooms have king size beds with one having an en-suite bathroom and all 3 have TVs. One bedroom has a queen size bed and 2 twins, perfect for a family with children. A 5th bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds for a total sleeping capacity for 14. A laundry room with double washers and dryers is a bonus. The deck has an umbrella table with seating for 8 and a large gas grill with direct propane hook-up to the house. There is a great yard for lawn games and an outside rinse station with hot/cold water to rinse off beach sand. Parking won't be a problem with plenty of room for your vehicles. Short Sands Beach with all of the shops, restaurants and amusements are within walking distance from the house. Come and enjoy one of Maine's most beautiful family friendly beaches and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Summer weeks are reserved Friday to Friday to avoid Saturday traffic.

Great for a group

We very much enjoyed our January stay at the house. The house is beautiful, spacious and clean. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and the third floor is a wonderful bonus space! Brian was easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend to families traveling together!

Amazing house

We were 9 retired ladies away for “Ladies Week-End. The house was fabulous. Had all the bells and whistles. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen and walkable to everything. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Brian was a doll to deal with and was only a phone call away. The only thing I would add is perhaps a few mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms. We loved the house and would definitely come back.

Getaway

The house was great. It was big enough for four couples with extra beds for more. It was divided into three floors allowing for our privacy and close to the beach and a short drive to all the different places to see. The house was well stocked. We would come back in the future.

Perfect property for multi-generation family reunion!

Our extended family (Four generations - ages 3 - 87) had an amazing time at this beautiful property. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable clean rooms and lots of great spaces to gather and visit/share stories/re-connect as family. The beach was just a quick walk away (many times a day for the kids who couldn't get enough of the beach/ocean)! Host was great and provided beach items for the kids to use! We would love to spend more time exploring York again in the future!

Great Home for Groups!

The house was perfect for our group which had three families, all with children ages 1-9. There was plenty of room for everyone, and it was just a short walk to the beach. Even the little ones could walk without issue. Everything was clean, and the home is beautiful. The owner was super helpful and well organized. It was about a 10 minute walk to the downtown area from the house, just down a quiet dirt road. We enjoyed our stay and plan to be back next year!

Amazing house location was perfect for all ages.!

We absolutely loved our stay at York. The house was impeccably clean and well stocked with everything you could ever need.! The owner even reached out prior to letting us know tin foil was low (sorry they didn’t have any in stock at the local store ) the attention to detail with this home itself is 10 stars in my opinion.! We traveled with my elderly mother (mobility issues) It was such a quick walk to long sands we were able to drive my mom over drop her off and then walk back. The teenage boys in our group brought their bikes and were able to bike all around with ease and freedom.! They spent a lot of time jumping off the bridge and hopping from beach to beach. York is such a pleasant safe area we felt comfortable with them going off.

Perfect Vacation Home in York Beach

I have rented many vacation homes over the years, and I'm happy to say that this was the very best. We stayed as a family of 6 - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids ages 12 and 8. There was plenty of room for us to spread out (thankfully, since our beach week was not very sunny). We needed a home with a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor for my parents, and the layout worked perfectly. This home is modern and clean, stocked with absolutely everything you could want or need. A 3-minute walk to ice cream, and a minute further you're on Long Sands Beach. Communication with Brian was easy and friendly. When we couldn't be on the beach, we did family movies, family puzzles and games, and lots of yummy take-out food. Thank you for a perfect rental home, Brian!

Room for the whole family

This house suited our family group of 6 adults and 2 children perfectly. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and updated with plenty of storage and closets. We cooked meals in the well-supplied kitchen every day, and especially enjoyed the walk-in pantry for storing our groceries! The location of this property is perfect if your aim is to spend time on Long Sands, just a 5 minute walk. Many beach items are available to use if you have not brought your own. There are beach chairs, beach buggies, and the children’s favorite, boogie boards! It is also just a very short drive into town and to Short Sands. Communication with owner Brian was excellent. He is very responsive to any questions and available to help with any situation that might arise. We highly recommend this property and plan to rent here again.

We stayed at this property during my bachelorette trip. It accommodated all 12 of us comfortably. The overall house is big and had everything we needed. It was so close to both Long Sands and Short Sands beach. Above all, it was extremely clean and well kept as if it was a brand new house. We were so comfortable and enjoyed being at the house. Highly recommend!

Close to everything

We stayed at this property with three families including kids from 10 months to 4 years old. There was a ton of space including beds and baths for each group, a well equipped kitchen, and two family rooms (good for when the kids need breaks.) The backyard space was big enough for us to have a little picnic and the grill was clean and worked well. There was an outdoor shower for the kids to clean off after a day at the beach and the host provided towels, chairs, and beach buggies. Long Sands is only a 5ish minute flat walk (and that is with kids) and downtown was a 15 minute walk. There was parking for 5 cars. House was clean and modern, host was welcoming and communicative. Great experience.

Great house!

This property is clean, well maintained, and has plenty of space for large groups. The beds were comfy too! It’s a short walk to the ocean. York is a quiet town but a short drive away into Portsmouth, NH. The host Brian was very communicative and was even able to help me out quickly when I realized I accidentally booked the wrong weekend. I highly recommend this property.

Girls weekend

The house is was wonderful - clean, clear instructions, plenty of supplies promised and the location is beautiful. Communication leading up to our weekend was timely and thorough. Perfect place for Xmas week

This house is super comfortable and cozy for a winter's stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The bedrooms are all good-sized and comfy, the showers work well, and the kitchen/living/dining area is great to hang out in. There's a Hannaford grocery store 10 minutes away. We walked to the lighthouse on Nubble point and hiked up Mt Agamenticus - both very close by. The beach is about a 10 minute walk. Only downside is all of the restaurants and businesses in York were closed for the winter. For takeout, we had to pickup in Portsmouth, a 25 minute drive. Brian was very helpful and responsive.

Girls weekend getaway

Hands down, one of the nicest properties we’ve stayed at! Spacious, clean, with all the amenities and more (they even had a Christmas tree in the living room!). Brian was extremely communicative and responsive. This house was perfect for our girls weekend and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!
