Large Lakeside Cabin

Come experience lake life!

This newly remodeled lake house is the perfect retreat for you and your group. Featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, this property can easily accommodate 14+ guests. Just a block from the public beach and park, and minutes from the Boulder Lake Cross Country ski trails, you find plenty to do during any season!

Want to bring your boat? Snowmobile or ski equipment? We have storage space! You may also launch your boat down the road and park at our dock.

Take advantage of the full kitchen or grill on the back deck while overlooking the bay. If you don't want to cook, visit the Island Lake Inn resort next door for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They also offer takeout and off-sale beer, wine, or liquor if there is anything you forgot to bring! They also have premium fuel for all of your machines.

On the upper level you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A couples retreat with a queen bed, the long hallway room, with 2 queen beds, and a family suite with a king bed and full over full bunk bed featuring newly refinished en suite bathroom.
The main floor has a cozy room with full size bed and a 3/4 bath as well as a pull out couch. All bedrooms and the main living space feature Roku enabled televisions and wireless internet access.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for our 2 families to come together! The large table was great for game playing. The kiddos enjoyed going to the beach across the road, skipping rocks and wading in the water. We went to the aquarium, adventure zone, zoo, and Canal Park, all in Duluth ,which was a short drive away. The pizza at the bar next door was very good. This house had everything we needed!

The cabin was very clean and updated. My family of 8 had more than enough room and privacy as they needed. Great location near enough to Duluth for that scene, but felt quite "up north".

Was easy to find. Very nice, clean rooms, lots of sleeping places, comfortable beds. Very roomy. The bar next door had great food and great service. Only negatives we could think of (and they were minor) was lack of parking and it would have been nice if the light switches were marked.

Check in was a breeze with the host articulating instructions well. This cabin is amazing! Fit our entire group of 9 (including 3 children) comfortably and was quiet and peaceful. The skylights in the living room brought so much beautiful natural light every morning. The master bedroom with the king sized bed, full sized bunk beds, futon, and master bathroom is HUGE. That bathroom even has a tub with jets and separate shower stall! The attention to detail in having things like plenty of dish ware, cooking/baking utensils, towels, fans for each bedroom, to extra phone chargers made our stay that much easier. We all kept commenting, “This place has everything!” The fire pit area has plenty of seating and there’s even a swimming area at a beach across the road on the lake. It’s close to restaurants/bars and a few gas stations like Kwik Trip, which made it really convenient. Would definitely stay again!

10 of us stayed for 3 nights at the end of April. The place was spacious, well appointed and felt more like someone's home than like a vacation rental. The hosts are communicative and approachable. We ate several meals there and had plenty of dishes - everything we looked for we found, even a roasting pan, cookie sheet and grilling equipment. You might want to bring your own storage containers for leftovers. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. There are even toys in the ottoman and a high chair and pack and play in the closet. The location next to the restaurant/bar is a mixed blessing as the food is good and close but it was fairly loud and crowded on Saturday night but Sunday and Monday was quiet.

It was a great vacation place for our family. We had 8 adults and 3 smaller children and there were plenty of beds and a huge dining table to fit is all. The view of the water and backyard was wonderful.Like any home, there were a few technical issues, but the owners were quick to respond to questions and we worked around most of them.

Wonderful place!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There were 13 of us (7 adults and 6 kids) ranging in ages 5 to 68. We were a little concerned about some of the negative reviews we read before we got there, but didn't find anything that prevented us from having a great time!

As advertised, roomy cabin.

The cabin easily accommodated eight of us for a long weekend. It is in a nice spot in a wooded area, just around the corner from a nice lake and a public park and beach. Easy drive to Duluth and a full service bar/restaurant right next door. The cabin has all the comforts of home. Relaxing and spacious venue for a group that size. I would recommend.
