Even with some electric issues the host was very responsive in trying to solve the issue. The Dock bar and grill right next door has the best pizza, chicken and ice cream.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Round Lake Haven, which had everything a family could want for a lake vacation. Excellent communication from Randy, plenty of space to spread out, and access to the best bay on the lake. Just 15min from town, there are also superb dining options a very short walk/drive/kayak away (The Dock/Tamarack Farms/Powell’s). The fact that the cabin is on the south shore means you get sun all day and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets reflected on the calm water. There are kayaks to use, board games, and an outstanding family DVD collection. Really everything we needed! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Host was great, super responsive and helpful when we had an issue with the water pressure and a neighbor. We did have an issue at the end of our trip with some guests getting bug bites all over, unsure if it was bed-bugs or not. Host was responsive about the issue, but no offer for partial refund. We also had no technical proof and didn’t ask as we had to leave with a big storm rolling in. Best thing about this place was the property manager and host quick response and willingness to help if needed.

Thanks for the review. Unfortunately this review written immediately upon guests departure. The issue was quickly resolved to the guests satisfaction. As per the property, it was treated on March 26 by a professional pest control company. The treatment was by the lethal temperature (160 degrees) method for 4 hours. Two weeks following, it will be treated with chemicals. This is the most aggressive method available. Shortly thereafter, I will stay at the property to make sure all is well. Thanks Randy

Family Vacay 2024

This place was perfect for our family with a mixture of adults, teens and young kids, the amount of space was great! Would have been nice to have a little more flat yard space for outdoor games but the lake offered the perfect place to hang out.

Great vacation cabin!

This cabin has ample room to accomodate large groups and comes with all the comforts of home but still feels like a cabin. Communication with the host and property manager was excellent! Parking was a bit of an issue with us, but Randy went the extra mile to provide extra parking. The lake was beautiful and very clear. Fishing was a little slow over our week, but we all had a great time regardless!😊

Family vacation

There was 14 of us plenty of room for us great set up had everything you could possibly want including kayaks, which were awesome and a standup paddleboard. It was a little warm one night, but otherwise the fans are appreciated and kept at cool! Couple of notes just when you're driving there it's right behind the dock for location finding it and then also had lots of boats and lots of cars, and there was room for all of it! Great stay thank you so much!

Large cabin on big round

We enjoyed the size of the cabin. We had 8 adults and 8 children and had plenty of room. We did have 1 issue and that was all beds had acorns in them. We were able to rewash the bedding so we made it work. Kids caught a bunch of fish ice fishing. Lots of Northern and Large mouth bass.

About the host

Our family has been coming to Round Lake for 16 years. After our cabin purchase, both of our parents also bought homes on Round Lake. We have loved our time on this lake, however, as our kids become teenagers, we find it more difficult to spend as much time at the cabin as we'd like. Thus we've found using VRBO allows other families an opportunity to enjoy the lake much like we have!

We sincerely hope that you find your time at Round Lake as enjoyable as we have.

Randy and Annie Hahn
