This 1 bedroom condo sits one unit back from beachfront. There are great views of Ka'anapali Beach from both the living/kitchen area and the bedroom. Enjoy a very comfortable nights rest on the Eastern King bed in the master bedroom,a queen sofa bed in the living room, and a single roll away in the master closet. We have provided items for families such as port-a-crib and toys for the little kids.

The kitchen has the necessary items to make almost anything you can imagine. If cooking in the kitchen is not your thing then the BBQ might make you happy (just outside the lanai on ground floor.) The lanai that has all brand new furniture looks to the south which gives the unit good light all day. The Whaler is located right next door to Whalers Village a shopping center known for it's great restaurants (Hula Grill, Lailani's, and Maui Fish Co. and other fun island shops. The Whaler offers a remodeled workout facility to work off all those vacation calories. If working out is not in the plan maybe the on site spa is your thing.

This condo is a great place to stay for a trouble free Hawaiian vacation.

Great condo and perfect location to explore Maui for the first time!

Doug's condo was truly the perfect home base to explore Maui from. The location is just steps away from the beach and can't be beat. I was wavering between booking a room at the Westin nearby and am so glad that I went with Doug's condo instead. Doug has truly outfitted his condo with everything that you would need for a nice vacation getaway. He has all the essentials that you would need in the kitchen and throughout the condo. He really pays attention to the little details for your daily needs such as providing new sponges, enough dish washing and laundry detergents and plenty of garbage bags for your entire stay. It's these little details that you never notice but makes your stay so much more enjoyable where you don't have to worry about the little details and having to pick things up from the convenience store. Doug also provides everything that you would need for exploring the nearby beaches and bays, everything from beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers to even defogging solutions for your snorkel masks. The property itself is also really beautiful where everything is nicely maintained. The location next to Whaler's village is also very convenient. You can take a nice short stroll in the morning and grab yourself a nice cup of coffeee and another late night stroll to grab some gelato. There's the beach just a few steps away to fill your day with and then there is Whalers Village less than a block away to shop and get your souvenir fixes. My family and I couldn't have asked for a better location for our first trip to Maui!

Another vacation in paradise!

This is our 2nd time staying in this unit - and we are already planning trip #3! The unit and property is well maintained and the owner provides lovely amenities, including use of snorkel gear, breach umbrellas and boogie boards! We love the new chairs provided by The Whaler for use on the beach. We look forward to our breakfasts and sunsets on the lanai looking over to the ocean on our right and the mountains on the left. August 2016 stay

This condo and its location was absolutely perfect in every way. The view from the lanai is scenic and almost too good to be true. We enjoyed our coffee every morning looking out into the ocean. The condo is well appointed and has more than enough space for a family of four. The owner and management company were extremely accommodating and very professional. There is a nice little welcome package that includes dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags etc. to get you started. The location is perfect with having the Whalers Village literally right behind the condo complex. The pool is lovely and the beach is exceptional. The beach towel service worked out perfectly!

As good as it Gets

We stayed in this unit in April 2016. We are in our 70s and have vacationed on Maui at least 6 times preferring to stay at the Whaler. This was definitely our best vacation experience as far as the accommodations go. Cannot imagine a more deluxe or better located unit. Owner most cooperative and is very good at communications. Definite recommend and we hope we can repeat.

Fantastic Maui Experience!!

We have stayed in this unit twice now and would highly recommend staying here (at the risk it may be booked next time we visit Maui). Doug the owner provides you everything you need to know about the unit before you arrive and the staff at The Whaler are also very friendly. The location right next to Whalers Village is what makes this unit so great. Shopping and dinner in walking distance. This is also an easy walk to the Hyatt properties for shopping/dining options.

The unit is in excellent condition with high end kitchen appliances. We cooked almost daily and used the grill multiple times. The view is amazing and listening to the ocean at night is very relaxing. The gym has recently been upgraded and the equipment is brand new. Between the pool, sun deck and beach chairs available you will always have a place in the sun. The property never felt crowded even in early March. We will be back again I'm certain.
