This 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom gem sleeps up to 13 guests and offers plenty of space for family vacations, friend gatherings, or relaxing retreats. Nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 11 minutes from Wimberley Square, Creekside Vista Escape - Lodge combines cozy cottage vibes with modern amenities for a fun and unforgettable stay.

Step inside to discover soothing neutral décor and a layout designed for both comfort and style. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom also has a king bed for ultimate relaxation. For added privacy, the third bedroom has a full bed and its own ensuite bathroom. The fourth bedroom, perfect for guests with mobility challenges, has a queen bed and an ensuite bath. The fifth bedroom is perfect for kids or adventurous guests with its twin-over-full bunk. Plus, there's a loft with a pull-out sofa, a TV area, and even foosball for some friendly competition!

Outside, the fun really begins. Enjoy beautiful creek views from the dock, take a dip in the year-round swimming hole, or soak in the heated and jetted plunge pool! You’ll find plenty of seating for outdoor dining, whether you’re grilling on the propane BBQ or just taking in the Hill Country serenity.

For larger groups, we’ve got you covered! There’s an additional unit on the property, Creekside Vista Escape - Cabin, which sleeps up to 4 more guests. The property includes two attached units that can be rented separately or together, with a small shared vestibule serving as the main entry. Each unit has its own private, lockable entrance and is fully secure with no shared living space when rented individually. An interior connecting door links the two units and is equipped with a deadbolt on each side, allowing each space to remain private and secure, or to be opened when both units are booked together.

*Rates are based on the number of guests entered in the reservation quote – any additional guests may incur additional charges. The occupancy listed is the max occupancy this property can accommodate.

We truly appreciated this house for our yearly cousin trip! The pool was wonderful to have to keep the kids occupied. The only complaint I have is that it definitely seems like they have a rodent issue, there’s rodent poop in multiple places in the house and food that was left out of the counter overnight(muffins) we’re clearly chewed on with fresh poop on the counters, in the pantry area and even upstairs in the loft bedroom. This did not deter our stay as we just learned to not keep anything out but definitely worth a mention.

A beautiful respite

My family stayed here for about three weeks due to a water heater leak that lead to a home renovation. The home was clean and quiet and a great escape for my family to escape the chaos of our home. My teenager loved the kayaks and even tried fishing down at the water a few times. There were a couple of maintenance issues that came up while we were there and the property management company jumped right on them to get them fixed as fast as possible.

Overall, not an ideal experience. The property has an undisclosed second listing that was rented out by another group. There is a shared entrance with no curtains, allowing full view into our rental. Additionally, exterior spaces shown (deck and yard) are shared. At least the couple renting the other unit were nice, but it made our whole anniversary trip uncomfortable. The listing was designated as entire house via filtering, which I find relatively deceptive for a shared property. It was obvious some of the bedding was not washed and never made, so we had to wash them before sleeping. At least, the camera's overlooking all corners of the house and hot tub made the space feel "safe". Nice place though and we made the best of it.

Outdoor / Exterior Issues:The pool contained debris, was low on water, and the jets were exposed upon arrival.The deck bar cooler was unclean, and the faucet still had winterization foam on it.Garbage was left in the garage.Deck furniture was dirty and had to be wiped down in order to be used.We requested that the pool and bar issues be addressed as soon as possible. While repairs were eventually made, these conditions resulted in an immediate loss of use of key amenities upon arrival.Additionally, once the pool was serviced and refilled, the water temperature dropped significantly. It remained between approximately 80–90F for about a day and a half while reheating, further extending the period the pool was not fully usable.'Year round' swimming hole was very green and not usable.Interior Issues (additional findings):One of the loft beds had sand present, stained linens, and no blankets. The bed had not been properly serviced prior to our arrival, and we had to wash the sheets ourselves before use.A majority of the bath towels were stained.The coffee maker contained old, moldy grounds.The upstairs common area bathroom tub/shower drain was clogged making the shower unusable.In the rear downstairs suite (with coffee bar), we found a dead roach and a live reptile in the room.The cupboard walls surrounding the kitchen garbage can were coated with dried food.Many areas of the interior had significant surface dust.

Wedding Weekend

We were in town for my son's wedding and the house is very nice. The floors and kitchen counter were not cleaned and dishes were in the dishwasher when we arrived. I think they need to get a new cleaner. Also, read the fine print! There is a cabin connected to the house that you do not have access to. The listing says "the entire house" which is true but the small print indicates a cabin right there that I did not see. Thankfully our neighbors were very quiet. The property manager is very nice and helpful!

Unmet Expectations

Our group enjoyed the location and amenities, including the hot tub and the pond behind the house; however, the presence of rodents, a difficult check-in process, and lack of cleanliness made it hard to enjoy this stay. We woke up on the first morning to see that bread and tortillas left on the counter overnight had been torn into and munched on by some kind of rodent (see photos). Especially with three young kids in our group, we were then super nervous about germs and mouse droppings that may be on counters and floors. The property manager offered us money to replace the groceries lost, but it didn’t help us feel better about the lack of cleanliness.Upon arrival, it was difficult to tell which door lef into the property versus the attached cabin (a separate rental). After finding the door, we soon discovered we had been given the wrong code for the lockbox. As we worked to figure out the door situation, neighbors in the nearby cabin were super rude. Not very family-friendly. Finally, as we packed up, we removed the small trash bags in the bathrooms to take out the trash and discovered, in one trash can, a banana peel left underneath the trash bag. No wonder there’s a rodent issue if trash from previous renters isn’t effectively cleaned out. Also, the dishwasher left a thick white film on everything, meaning we needed to rewash by hand. We really wanted to love this rental as the house is very pretty, but these issues mean we can’t recommend this place to anyone.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience during your recent stay at our property. It's disheartening to learn that your visit was not up to the standards we strive to provide. We routinely schedule pest control at all of our properties but as we are located in the Hill Country wild animals still sometimes make their way inside, especially at our more rural locations. We hired exterminators to take care of the rodent issue, and it has been resolved. We hope that you enjoyed your vacation regardless of these problems and we would love to host you again, at a different property if you would prefer.
