Mahalo for your review Michele! We hope to host you again in the future Mahalo for your review, Sakiko! Coqui song backed by rain on a tin roof is the night time soundtrack of our unique jungle home. We love it! But it may not be for everyone, as you point out. We are glad you otherwise enjoyed the accommodations!! Mahalo nui for your review, Niral! We apologize for the lack of condiments... in these pandemic times we feel it's best to err on the side of caution and ask our housekeepers to remove anything from the home that could be contaminated. It's not always an easy call to make, so we encourage guests to pick up anything they know that they will need during their stay. 10-Star Stay in Laupāhoehoe! We spent 4 wonderful nights at this amazing waterfront condo in Laupāhoehoe near Hilo, and it was absolutely perfect. The setting is breathtaking—right on the ocean with beautiful views and the most peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We loved sitting on the lanai listening to the waves, and we were even lucky enough to spot whales passing by!The condo was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was ideal for exploring the Hilo side of the Big Island, with easy access to waterfalls, scenic drives, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The hosts were fantastic, communication was easy, and check-in was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would return in a heartbeat. This one deserves more than 10 stars—highly recommend!
