Welcome to Your Peaceful Retreat!

We’re excited to offer a space that’s both welcoming and affordable! To keep fees low, our standard rate is for 4 guests but we can accommodate up to 6 guests for an extra $25 per guest per night per person after the first four if they are adults. Traveling with a furry friend? We happily accommodate non-shedding pets for a $35 flat fee per stay—just let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for your pet’s comfort too!

Step through your private back entrance into a spacious and inviting kitchenette and living room area. This thoughtfully designed space features two large windows, ample cabinets, a fridge, an induction plate with several pots and pans, a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. If you’d like, we can also provide a Vitamix blender upon request, making meal prep a breeze. Whether you’re cooking or simply relaxing, this space is crafted to feel like home.

On the main floor, you’ll find a bathroom with a 3x3 shower. For added convenience, the sink is located just outside the bathroom, offering both accessibility and charm.

A few steps down, you’ll enter the cozy TV room with a large couch, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. From here, step into the serene bedroom, where you’ll find a queen bed with a luxurious 3” memory foam topper for extra comfort. The pull-out couch also features a 3” memory foam topper, ensuring all guests enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

Step outside onto our balcony and indulge in multiple hot tub sessions during your stay. Enjoy stunning sunset views while soaking in the soothing waters, perhaps with a refreshing beverage from the fully stocked mini fridge. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll have the hot tub ready for you, complete with fresh towels and cozy bathrobes. While the fire pit is unavailable in winter, the hot tub remains your perfect spot for relaxation.

We love to make your stay special, starting with a warm welcome of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. For longer stays, you can also savor our homemade Romanian crepes with Nutella. And starting January 2025, we’re introducing homemade granola—just bring your favorite yogurt to pair with it for a delightful treat! If you’d like to take a little piece of your stay home, you can pre-order a dozen cinnamon rolls or bags of granola to pick up when you check out. Just ask the hosts about pricing. Rest assured, all food is made with care and food-safe certified.

For families with little ones, we provide a playpen and baby monitor upon request. Older kids will enjoy outdoor fun with the sandbox and trampoline. If you’re driving an electric car, we’ve got you covered with an EV charger for your convenience.

To ensure transparency, we’d like to share a few seasonal notes. Fertilizer spreading happens once in the spring (around April) and once in the fall (around September). It’s a quick process, but feel free to check with us if you have concerns. Additionally, during particularly hot summers, our neighbors may water the nearby cornfield once, usually in early August.
